By far, Arons Chiropractic is the BEST chiropractor practice that I've ever been to. This morning I was greeted kindly by Rosie who runs the front office. Even with a mask on, I could tell she was smiling. The office and patient rooms are spacious and very clean, and my wait time was only a few minutes. Score! Soon after completing a few quick forms and paying a small fee, Hunter walked me into a patient room. She was friendly, took her time asking the right questions to better address the locations of discomfort and the pain level in each area. She was so professional and knowledgeable, I thought she was the doctor herself! A few moments later, Dr. Scott introduced himself... and let me tell you he's full of positive energy, easy to talk with and a master of his arts. Before adjusting me, I received electric stem and weighted heat therapy to relax my muscles. Next Dr. Scott adjusted me accordingly - and he knows what he's doing! After the adjustment, therapy cream was applied and followed with a massaging instrument. It's been six hours since my treatment... all the constant pain I've carried over the last four years has vanished. I asked Dr. Scott when I should return... he said to listen to my body, that my body will let me know. Upon leaving, there was zero surprise fees and zero pressure to commit to another appointment. I've been coming to Dr Aron's for years. I'm seen regularly about once a month but if something comes up and I'm in pain, they've always been able to get me in very quickly. Dr Arons is always pleasant and takes an interest in how his patients are doing. I was referred to him by a friend after trying another chiropractor (across the street) that tried to scam me out of thousands of dollars for treatment I didn't need. If this were a review of the office staff I would give them a Purple Heart for working for the most arrogant person I have ever interacted with. Dr. Scott is loud, obnoxious, and condescending toward his staff, and while he was sweet and helpful to me at my first visit, he was rude at my second visit. From the time I walked into the exam room, trying to relax, I could see and hear him interacting with the staff. First he reached behind a trashcan where there were a few loose pieces of trash and loudly and sarcastically said to his staff "So you all cleaned, huh? It doesn't look like you cleaned. Maybe next time you will do a better job." Then, still at the front desk, he said to his staff "We want test results back, right? So why aren't you calling? It's simple communication. Better communication going forward." Once he was done with those rants he came into my exam room where I was finally starting to relax thanks to his staff who had covered me with warm towels and connected the tens machine to my neck. As soon as he approached the staff ripped the towels and tens unit from my neck as if in fear of his reaction to having to wait an extra five seconds. First he lectured me about how I should have come to him throughout my pregnancy, though when I came to him the first time he said there was no pressure to return unless I felt the need. Then he began to adjust my neck. Upon realizing I had a hair band in my hair, he quickly reprimanded the lovely staff who had helped me, saying it is her job to have me remove my hair band. While adjusting me he asked if I was bored on my maternity leave to which I answered "Never bored. I have a three year old and 12 day old." His response was shocking and offensive "I don't know why women do it! It's self-inflicted torture. It's self-inflicted!" I ignored this statement because I just wanted relief and was trying to relax. After my adjustment the staff came back in. She asked if I would like some therapy cream like icy hot, to which he snapped at her and said "That is a horrible example! It's nothing like icy hot! Sombra is all natural and works nothing like icy hot." Once he was gone I told the staff "If you had said Sombra I would not have known what you were talking about." Upon leaving this visit I had zero relief and 100% more stress from his arrogance. I should have said something to him, but I was sucked into thinking I would need him again. Great chiropractor. Crappy customer service. He has a bunch of uneducated boys running the front office. Who the heck greets a patient with "Are you Jose? Ok. So basically it's going to be $40." Something a little more friendly and professional would be, "Good morning, how are you? (Smile) You must be Jose. So I was checking your benefits this morning and I wanted to inform you that your copay is going to be $40, I would be happy to take care of your payment right now or we can do it after our appointment." The other thing that's awfully irritating is that it was only $25-35 for just and adjustment with out insurance. And now that we have insurance it's $40 something. Seems a little discriminatory to me.... Milking the patients with insurance for all they've got. Pathetic. They also require a $25 payment if you have new insurance until they check your insurance coverage. Seems really silly to me that they're so lazy about something like that and say it will take 3-4 days to confirm the benefits. Well, excuse me, but I know for a fact it takes only minutes to long on or call the insurance company and have a fax sent over with the benefit information. 3-4 days my ass. read more

I would have liked to leave a good review, however I came to my appointment on time at 5:00pm. I wasn't seen until 5:27 pm. When I asked the doctor if he was still going to do heat and stim like we had discussed at our last visit so that my neck could be relaxed before an adjustment, his answer was that he had no time and he was going on vacation. It was disappointing, as it was his timetable that was late and not my issue. So not only was he almost a half hour late to work on me, he did not even try to perform the work we had previously discussed because he was in a rush to leave. I felt that the assistants were in a grumpy mood and were unprofessional and it created a grumpy environment in the office, not one of healing. Very disappointed. read more

Had to wait over a hour and 15 minutes before just leaving because I would be late for work. Had been here before, was nothing like this experience. I drive a hour round trip, wasted my complete day because one of their friends came in a hour late for her appointment and they took her before me. Then took 4 other people who got there after me and when I asked they just offered to reschedule. After I sat there for over a hour. Will never be returning. Extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism. read more

Having just spent $45.00 on a massager sold in their office, i totally upset that i could not return the unsatisfactory product. Bought it on Friday, plugged it in to see it had very little power, waited to bring it back on this Monday to be told i could not return it becausr ut was used! No i have a $45.00 massager that will not even touch the knots in my husbands back! read more

I had an emergency while staying in town at a hotel and Scott was able to see me right away! Friendly staff and overall good chiropractic fun, not just your average snapple-crack-pop. If I lived here, he would be my go-to DC. read more

So, the office is nice, the tables are comfortable for adjustments, the massage afterwards is nice, but my reason for 1 star is because after going 8/9 times with severe lower back pain, just hoping to get a tiny bit of relief so I could sleep...and I got no relief after all those visits. I was told I waited too long to come in, and that I wasn't going to get improvement, we were just going to not let things get worse....so I suffered still with no relief. I told my OBGYN how much I was suffering and he referred me elsewhere. I went and after 2 appointments my back went from pain at an 8-9 range to a 4-5 which I hadn't felt in MONTHS!!! I was so grateful. (And am still grateful) Then it got me to thinking...I was made to believe I was beyond help, when someone WAS able to help me. I was in a lot of pain and got NO RELIEF from this office. So it makes me wonder how many others need help as I did who aren't receiving the help or attention they need. read more

I can't even begin to express my gratitude for Dr. Scott and his staff. I have been in extreme lower back pain for over 2 days and not sure what I did to myself. I am in the Red Bluff area for business...basically just passing through from Oregon to Chico, CA and staying at the Hampton Inn which is walking distance to Dr. Scott's office. Mind you, it's Labor Day & I was driving back to the hotel from getting my company car cleaned and saw his office, saw cars in the parking lot & the sign saying OPEN! I literally screamed with joy and knew this was a Blessing from the Man upstairs. I pulled into the parking lot of my hotel & called immediately. I told the receptionist I am in town just for the day, staying at the hotel next door & was in excruciating pain & it would be an emergency visit. She told me to come right over! I was overjoyed! I filled out my paperwork, paid the most reasonable $55 office visit & only waited a short period of time before taking me back. They assessed my situation, took blood pressure etc... Dr. Scott was so kind & said he would do everything in his power to fix this & make me feel better which he did!!! I had some stim pads with heat then a fabulous adjustment. You should have heard my body. Both hips & lower back were out. I was a complete mess and he fixed me right up!! I had some pain relieving cream & massage after the adjustment as well. After my appointment, I gave Dr. Scott the biggest hug & told him he was Heaven sent to me today! Without his healing touch, I'm not sure how I would have made it through my work week!!
