I already reviewed Dr Arora, but have to share that I woke up over a week ago with a sore puffy eye. At 7am I left a msg for the office. At 7:30am I got a call back and a 9:30am appointmen!! Dr Arora was leaving that week to get married and he still fit me in. His medical assistant is so enjoyable to talk to and very precise with the testing he conducts. I'm bad at names! Isaiah? anyway what a great young man. Dr Arora came in and diagnosed me pretty quickly and prescribed drops and an antibiotic. I was so impressed with his caring and his staff. Just got done with my appointment and WOW what another great experience. Dr. Arora and his team, Bri, Jennifer, and Katie were amazing and very engaging the whole time. Everyone was friendly and walked me through the entire process from start to finish of my check up. The entire practice decor is done to the nines and in a high class manner. From the entrance, the waiting room, the eye mapping thing room, and to the art is all amazing. When I walk in I feel in a professional place (and it is) but to me aesthetics are important especially when dealing with my eyes. My update on my eyes went well. Dr. Arora walked me through additional steps to take care of my eyes and made a few recommendations as well. Doc even took a pic with me. The personal attention I got today from everyone is why I will come back and be a client for life. I wish I would have got my Lasik from here, but these guys are now my go to optometrist. read more

Recently, I ended up getting a corneal abrasion right around the time of a Holiday trip. As inconvenient as scratching your eye was, traveling out of state was the cherry on top. So like many folks, I turned to Yelp for help, and found Arora eye. Based on the reviews and pictures alone, this place looked awesome...and disappoint they did NOT! Located in a shopping center on Indian Bend and N. Scottsdale, you enter the building and Arora's entrance is the first left. Arora Eye opened in Sept of 2021, fairly new of a practice, so the space was fresh, clean, and modern. Although I'm not knowledgeable in this space, the equipment seemed extremely high tech which always excites me. I just love modern medicine and practices! As for the staff, when you enter, you're greeted by a very friendly receptionist, Jennifer. She and I talked the entire time of checkin; so delightful and sweet, it really set the tone for a great visit. As if I thought it couldn't get better, I was then handed off to Bri, one of the tech associates, who took me into a couple of rooms to run various tests. Bree was phenomenal. She walked me through each one of her process, shared the why's and also made me feel sooooo welcomed! Then there's Dr Arora. I felt incredibly lucky to have stumbled into this place. Dr Arora was also very personable, knowledgeable, and walked me through each step of my abrasion, with a great plan in healing. I felt like I was part of the family! We even bonded through my goldendoodle Katsu, and his goldendoodle Darwin. I wish I could find an Ophthalmologist like Dr Arora and his team in the bay; they set the standard for sure! I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Jay Arora, who my husband found in a Newsweek article entitled "America's Best Eye Doctors," following a traumatic eye injury (diagnosed hyphema). Dr. Arora determined my injury was a medical emergency, and I attribute my extremely successful results due to his high level of care and dedication to his practice and patients. This exceptional doctor is punctual, professional, highly competent, compassionate, and ethical. I was able to get an early Monday appointment after the weekend injury, and although I was petrified (that happens when your eye is bleeding) he and his staff immediately made me feel at ease. Dr. Arora treated me like I was one of his own family. His attention to detail, explanation of every aspect of the injury and prognosis, and his dedication to getting a perfect result was unparalleled. I feel like I learned so much from Dr. Arora about the issue that brought me to his office, but also about exceptional eye care in general. The entire office operates with the assumption that the patient is paramount; this is a business model that has been long lost in most American medical practices. Dr. Arora even personally called me when he decided to add a medicine to my initial routine, and he clarified the purpose, explained the dosing, etc. I saw Dr. Arora four times over the span of two weeks, to ensure my eye was healing, and he also provided me with after care for some other eye issues that he appreciated through the detailed examinations. I cannot recommend Dr. Arora enough for medical emergency care and/or quality eye care and regular examinations.
