    #6 crepe
    Jennifer K.

Stopped in to grab a to-go order, but if you can eat in definitely do so! It's a great location, cute cafe, great food and great service. I got the #6 Joanne's crepe and my husband got the veggie omelette. Both were so good... mine was so good in fact, I forgot to let him taste it. Stop in, grab a bite and if you're lucky there might be a little live acoustic guitar happening.

This visit was a referral. We drive a long way to check this place out. The entrance was cute, lots to look inside, and a very nice man welcomed us and sat us down. We came for desserts! We started with ice teas that he makes and it was the best one I've had at any restaurant! For dessert, we had the cannoli and the chocolate mousse. Home made! His wife makes them. Absolutely delicious! The best cannoli we've had! He even played some Bossa Nova upon learning it was from Brasil! We really enjoyed our visit, the restaurant and the food. If you're in the area, go check them out!

This cafe contains refreshing energy! With eclectic tea sets and pretty displays of delicious desserts, you find yourself feeling a little slice of Europe. The staff is incredibly friendly. The owner is also very personable and you can feel how much he adores all he has created. The menu has so many options to choose from so feel free to dive in and dine in. If you stick around you may just get to enjoy some beautiful live music from the owner himself.

We walked in and went to the counter. We were politely greeted by Ana. She sat us at a table, gave us menu's, and asked us if we knew what we wanted to drink. They had a nice gentleman playing a guitar in the front corner. We later found out it was the owner named Iggy. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Ana took our order and even made some suggestions. The food was absolutely delicious! The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the potatoes were seasoned nicely. Iggy came over numerous times to make sure we were happy. I DEFINITELY Recommend this wonderful family run establishment. We will definitely be returning.

A great place for worldly food. This cafe and bakery is located at 119 5th Ave in Indialantic, Florida, right off SR 192 ( 5th Ave as it runs east toward the beach). It is easy to spot in a row of shops on teh south side of teh road leading toward the beach. Parking is available in the back behind the restaurant, with entrance from the front or back door. Street parking is also an option nearby, though it can fill up on busier days.It was not busy when we visited, making it relaxed and pleasant. The restaurant is very clean and welcoming, with a display case of delicious fresh-baked treats (pastries, cakes, and desserts) greeting you as you enter. Everything looks tempting. There's plenty of room between tables for comfortable seating, and the atmosphere is cozy with a European feel. The waiter/owner was wonderful--friendly, attentive, and full of great suggestions. We ordered a cheese and berries crepe and an egg dish. Both were unique, flavorful, delicious, and were served in large portions. They offer hearty breakfasts, crepes, omelets, soups, salads, and bakery items (many vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free options too). Prices are a little higher ($15-25 per dish), but the quality, portions, and experience make it well worth it. If you're in the Melbourne/Indialantic area looking for something different and homemade-feeling, this is a great stop--family-run with lots of heart. Enjoy!

It was Christmas morning when I saw the sign out front saying the cafe was open and immediately pulled into the back lot for breakfast. Upon entering I was greeted by a really friendly gentleman I presume was the owner. I was told to sit anywhere I liked so I sat at a table at the front window and looked around at this charming place. Colorful cups and mugs were on display as were display cases filled with amazing looking baked goods that appeared to be made in house by a very talented baker. The atmosphere was positively upbeat yet quaint. I was told I could order anything on the menu whether breakfast or lunch so I ordered a coffee which came appropriately in a Christmas mug and one of the many perogie choices, I chose the traditional potato and onion in a homemade mushroom gravy. Also featured was a nice selection of crepes both sweet and savory and many types of egg choices, we chose to try eggs bacon, potatoes and fresh baked bread. Everything we ate was delicious only to be out done by the service which was extremely attentive, (perhaps too attentive if thats possible), by who I believe was the owner and his wife.

The service was exceptional and very friendly. I booked at table for 4. The owners made the reservation for us when I told them I was coming from Orlando. They honored the reservation. We came in and we had a nice table set for us. We felt so special. Our food was amazing and the music serenade was great by the owner.

Amazing. My 2nd time. Love the food and the service is phenomenal. Can't stay enough good things. Ask the proprietor to play guitar or heis no too busy. You need to stop by.

I enjoy finding small café restaurants, and this was a gem. Went there for breakfast on Thursday morning and the the Roy's omelette with smoked salmon and it was really good. The coffee was excellent and a nice touch of frothed milk. The ambience was perfect with classical Music. In the corner was a space for musicians to play but the best part was when the owner played his guitar. He was amazing. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area next time.

Greek Omelette. A nice under layer of spinach.

It's been a while since we have been here and unfortunately we didn't like it as well this time. Still a very interesting menu. I ordered the Brie and crab crepes. But I sent it back because in my opinion there was an ammonia whiff to the crab. I actually spit out a bite into my napkin. The host came out to say it was a new "jar" of crab and he felt there was no problem. Maybe I just have a sensitive nose but I've been eating fish, crab, etc for many years. I can only remember one other time I had to send back a dish and it was for the same reason. An ammonia smell. At any rate after trying to convince me it was fine, he did rustle up a very nice Greek omelette which was delicious. The other reason for only 3 stars this time is that I thought the pricing was high. This could account for why a similar place nearby was packed with a waiting line while this place had only a small number of customers.

If you are looking for authentic central European food. This is the place. Family run husband ,wife, and son cafe in Melbourne.Very cozy and you can feel the love. I was suggested the veal pierogies by one of the fellow diners. They did not disappoint. Soft pillowy pasta with savory veal and spices. Also, grabbed a plain crepe with honey. So good. Around 25.00 for the food and a fresh squezzed O.J.

Harvest Thyme Kitchen - Brunch tea

**INITIAL REVIEW** I…read morecontinue to be surprised by all the unique businesses I find flourishing in Historic Downtown Melbourne a.k.a. Melbourne Main Street. This statement is especially true for said businesses west of the Heneger Center, the area that technically has "less" foot traffic. With that in mind, I heard about Harvest Thyme Kitchen (which I will shorthand simply to Harvest Thyme for the remainder of this review) because I have a vested interest in the tea shops in the historic area. Not saying I am a fan of tea parties per se, but I do utilize herbs and spices for herbal teas for holistic health optimization. Harvest Thyme technically isn't that kind of tea shop and actually stands on the iconic "afternoon tea party" experience when dining with them... even though they are not open in the afternoon. Even though, Harvest Thyme is definitely a place to enjoy a nice and relaxing time, sipping tea with friends, a contrast to the other tea shop experiences in Historic Downtown Melbourne. Though an address is provided, Harvest Thyme is located right next to Genesis Boutique consignment shop and right across the street from the iconic Sun Shoppe Cafe. Harvest Thyme probably started out as a traditional home in Melbourne that survived the test of time, but has been somewhat fitted to be a tea house. First and foremost, the experience within the tea house is quite intimate with only a few small intimate tables and a longer table in the room that would have been either the family room or living room, is spread. Majority of seating is outside along the lawn and the overhang garage area turned tea room fancy. During a nice Autumn season, it is quite nice to enjoy tea and crumpets outdoors. Wouldn't suggest it during summertime especially when the lovebugs are out. Selection of food and drink is simple yet delicious. There is both breakfast and lunch (brunch) options ranging from traditional meals to more modern takes such as power bowls. For me, there are two dishes, one for breakfast and one for lunch, that stand out in flavor: the biscuits with flight of gravies and the ham, cheese, and apple melt. The former is two to three biscuits with three small bowls of gravy of your choice from the following four: mushroom chardonnay, bacon, sausage, and chicken herb. My suggestion: sausage, mushroom chardonnay, and herb chicken. The latter is ham and gruyere/cheddar cheese grilled on Hawaiian Sweet bread and finished with grannie smith apple slices. Those are my two, but there are other delicious options on the menu like lemon poppy pound cake French toast, and Grandma G's pot roast dip (think of French Dip but the Harvest Thyme style). Finally, Harvest Thyme does bake delicious baked goods to take home. Cookies, cinnamon rolls, pound cakes, etc. I took a cinnamon roll home and it was good for what I got. Ultimately, I would eat here again if I am in the area and want to try more of Harvest Thyme's menu. It should also be known that Harvest Thyme is a God-fearing business in which you can tell God is put first with the number of scripture used as decor and the Biblical gifts for sale. For now, I will give Harvest Thyme four out of five stars for their initial review. I will check them out a couple more times and if they are consistent, I will give them their fifth star.

I went in about lunchtime and ended up getting an Italian sandwich, which seemed to annoy some of the staff members a little bit. It was my first time in there, so I took a little bit longer to look at the menu that was posted and get accustomed to the sides, but no more than maybe 30 to 45 seconds. The sandwich was pretty good, I would put it up there with a standard sandwich, and you get a lot of bang for your buck, which is definitely good. However, I don't think it's beating out a Publix Italian or even a Jersey Mike's, if you want to drive down the street a bit. Inside, it is very much a local deli vibe. A couple of tables, some TVs go in, and it really establishes itself as that. Nothing fancy, but it doesn't need to be. Coffee-wise, it looks like they mainly just offered drip coffee over on the end, but I didn't order any, so I'm unsure if they had a more expansive menu. I'm definitely going to give it another try, but try what they are known for this time, that being some bagels, if they still have any in stock by the time I get there. Once I try those out, I will update the review accordingly.
