Yesterday was my first and last interaction with her. She rang my doorbell to say, "I'm not mowing your lawn until you pick up the dog poop in the back yard". I was home alone, holding my crying and overstimulated one year old son and holding back my barking dog from pushing her way through the front door. I told her, "just give me a minute to call my fiancée". I called my fiancée, who called her to advised that he was almost home and would pick up the dog droppings as soon as he arrived or to arrange another time or day for her to come by. She told him "no not doing this" and hung up on him. Later, while checking the outdoor camera, I can hear her telling her staff "she told me to hold on because she has to call her fiancée because she doesn't want to do it HERSELF". They left prior to my fiancée calling, and left the gates wide open. I understand that cleaning our dog's droppings are our responsibility, however I expected the owner to address this issue with a bit more professionalism and empathy. Not even a "hi how are you. I'm so and so from such and such company". I'm not sure if she expected my dog to use the toilet instead of the yard for her business or if she expected me to lock my kid and my dog in a cage to run outside to scoop up a few droppings of poop. We are working people. God forbid, we didn't pick up a few droppings. They have been mowing for several months, and now we have an issue? Additionally, we have had several missed services and rescheduling. My advice to all looking for lawn services is to steer far away from this one. Invest your money into a company that is reliable and professional.

After showing the owner of the company damage that was done to our property in the backyard and then still paying them, a verbal agreement was made that the remedy would be decided in the near future. The next thing to happen was a no-show on our scheduled landscape the following week, and ignoring texts and phone calls from my husband. It has now been about a month with no contact from the company. So they took their payment and decided to ghost the job, communication and responsibility for the damage. Not sure how much more unprofessional you can get. So now, a review is being written so that the public is aware of how they conduct their business.

Beware of this landscaper! We worked with "Joe" of GP Landscape Design, who we believe to be…read moreeither the owner or manager. We hired GP Landscape Design to complete a 'Spring Clean-up' and to transplant a small ornamental Japanese bush. On the day of the clean-up, Joe dropped-off a crew to remove leaves from about a 1/2 acre lot of grass and multiple flower beds. The job completed was very unprofessional and incomplete - specifically, there were leaves left in the flower beds smothering plants that were coming up. They also damaged plants by stepping on many delicate bushes and breaking branches in the gardens. We have garden stones used as boarders for our flower beds. In our longest flower bed we found the stones scattered on the lawn after the workers finished. Seriously sloppy and careless. For the transplant of the ornamental Japanese bush, we expected they would dig-up the bush with care ensuring the full root system remained together. It appears they pulled the bush up without properly ensuring the root system was in-tact. The bush died a few days later. We attempted to connect with Joe after the job was complete to discuss our issues. We were unsuccessful reaching him and have yet to be able to talk with him. His phone number (noted below) was/is disconnected. We paid $525 for this job, which we knew was higher than many of his competitors, and expected a much higher quality job and certainly a more professional response to our final queries. This vendor also has a PO Box noted as PO Box 15, Center Moriches, NY 11934 and a phone number that's now out of service of 631.464.0151.
