I've experienced 2 different instructors and both were patient & encouraging, I even cried in one of the sessions because that particular practice resonated with me so much. The studio is very clean. The bathroom was in impeccable shape. They offer some amazing products for cleaning up too one in particular that caught my eye was the Indie Lee Product. I didn't bring a mat but I was able to us one of theirs, the fee is $2. They offer a wide variety of drinks and I heard someone raving about the coconut water. Signing in is easy and quick. You just find your name and press check in. The cubbies are in the front and they lock the doors during a session to ensure safety of your things. Overall the studio, class instructors and staff are amazing. Such an amazing place to do yoga in Raleigh. Ps, there is plenty of parking too.

I first started going when they first opened and had to take a break due to work schedule etc. I recently joined back and it was like I never left. Instructors remembered my name and for those who didn't know me, quickly introduced themselves and made me feel right at home. I was blown away on how quickly everyone remembers your name.. it's a small thing.. but to me it, it made a world of difference. It's proof they truly do care about getting to know their community. I signed up for the yearly unlimited pass and could not be happier with all of the classes they offer. They have been extremely safe during covid, making sure everyone wears masks. The studio is super clean and they offer hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. If you're wanting to be a part of a local Yoga community that you're always welcome in, look no further. It was tough to find places…read morethat were Covid-safe in the pandemic, and the times I went to their art museum classes I was at peace. Karley led us through a wonderful flow that left me feeling as if I was on vacation. The birds chirping in the background created some lovely ambience and I was happy to have some lovely artwork to look at as I stood in eagle pose. Highly recommend checking out her class! It doesn't feel like a traditional gym, more like a place where you can truly train. The instructors are great as is the owner Nate. They are great at what they do and knowledgeable. They work you hard and push you to grow and get better. Their cyclical method works for me as a workout and to keep my interest. I enjoy they have a balance of boxing, boxing/lifting classes and classes that are solely strength training. The variety is great and geared to getting results. Further they prioritize safety in movement. They are hosting a free shoulder workshop and having expect guests come in to present on shoulder maintenance during workouts. The people that attend are very supportive and a great group of people!

I live about 25-30 minutes away so I'll have to figure it out! So far I think I can make this work! Sanitation wise, it's super clean and after the first class I wasn't worried at all! They've gone above and beyond to ensure that they provide a safe and clean place! This is my first time working out with a format like this! You are put through 5 different workouts that's perfectly timed, based on what the focus of the day is Momentum, Anaerobic and Durability. You are walked through the proper form for each exercise then you identify the level you wish to rotate through. I'm not the fittest but I'm working on it and so right now, I'm using the lightest weights but I can definitely work my way up. The workout is tough and you push and work! The instructor is there watching so that if they need to correct your form they do! It feels amazing after and although I'm sore, I'm never at the point to where I can't go back after a rest day!

MADabolic is great! I've taken classes so far with Emily, Sarah and Alli so far and everybody is…read morereally friendly and willing to help out with anything you might need. There's generally 3 different types of classes at MADabolic - Momentum/Anaerobic/Durability which just have a different work to rest ratio. As much as people like throwing out the phrase HIIT, MADabolic is the gym I've found that actually does the closest to applying this. Also, a unique thing about MADabolic is that it incorporates boxing into their workouts so make sure you bring boxing gloves. It's definitely a nice change of pace to be able to hit a bag once in a while. My one complaint if any is that the description of the classes leads you to believe that it goes 50 minutes but sometimes you can be in and out of there a lot quicker than that (35-40 minutes). But the workouts are tough so it feels like you were there for a lot longer! Just a nit pik thing for people who would really care. Also will note that unlike other class-based gyms where you can sort of drop in as you like and it won't make that big of a difference, MADabolic is mostly set up for you to go consistently (I think 4-5x a week is what's recommended?) I only go to MADabolic once a month because I mostly run/cycle and go to another gym near my house and use MADabolic as something to switch up the routine once in a while. If you're looking for consistent results, you probably should go more often than I do haha. Otherwise, I've enjoyed MADabolic and you should check it out if you're around downtown Raleigh!

I've tried pretty much every barre studio in the triangle (as well as most yoga and pilates places), and CB&C is definitely my favorite. The instructors are all wonderful and provide a lot of adjustments and corrections to make sure you get the most out of your workout. They really focus on form and helping you to do the movements correctly, which makes a huge difference in the effectiveness of the classes. The classes here go by fast but manage to work all of my muscle groups in a way I haven't experienced from any other barre classes. I've had more significant improvements in muscle tone, strength, and flexibility here than when I was going to classes elsewhere. The other students are always friendly and overall the atmosphere is less intimidating than at other fitness studios.
