AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Our driver Corrado Meneghini arrived earlier than expected and was rushing us to depart earlier than our designated departure time. We arrived at the Malpensa bus location that was described only to discover that our driver chose to pick-up passengers from another point in the airport. He was unable to give us proper instructions to find his location, proceeded to be rude and insulting, and THREATENED to leave us behind if we could not find him (and this would still have been at least 15 minutes before our designated departure time). The van and location were unmarked and did not have the Arriva name, making it very difficult to find. Even people who worked at the airport station were unaware of the location. When we departed Milano-Malpensa for Aosta, we were still 10-15 minutes ahead of our original departure time. We would not recommend this bus service and would highly recommend taking a FlixBus instead. We have extensive experience traveling through Italy, and this was unlike anything we've ever experienced. read more

After reviewing these reviews from Arrivia I am glad I haven't booked anything. I was on the phone last night with Michael P over an hour we went over a few different cruise packages. I decided on 2 options and asked him to send via email so I can go over with my bf. I didn't receive so emailed him and said time runned out guess his day was over and he said he would send today. Today I received an unbelievable email: My apologies to be honest i forgot all of the prices that we discussed because there's a lot of destination that we look over. You are a professional working for this company and you don't Write anything down, really??? Print!? Nothing what a complete waste of time with this company. Rosalinda has been my saver in a situation where i had to chqnge my previous flight but the cost was the double than the purchase price and i had to buy 2. She took so much care and creativity and found me a great flight at 1/3 of the price. She also went deeper into my ingenuity and explained me my error in purchasing a travel protection ( not an insurance). Infact i never did it, but in this case i knew i could have needed it for a change of date, for a family matter. She is very knowledgeable and also has a friendly approach and does whatever it needs to get you the best service. It's not a casuality they are the reference for diplomats! read more

Was referred to Arrivia by our Travel Membership program, Renette was to be our Cruise Specialist. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! She booked our cruise on Virgin Voyages, 2 Cabins! After receiving our deposits, No longer returning our calls or emails for questions and/or additional Tour package bookings? Final payment for our cruise was due Feb 1st - Nothing has been charged to my credit card and now Virgin is threatening to Cancel our reservation? If I could give Arrivia, especially Heather Sineti, a ZERO, I would. I spent over $24k for a dream vacation for a northern Europe 12-day cruise on the Oceania and told my travel agent from AMEX (and got the worthless 3rd party agent, Heather Sineti at Arrivia instead) that I was celebrating my hubby's 70th and he had never been to the northern Europe countries. I told this inept agent that I wanted to fly Business Class and that this was going to be a special trip. What happened? Here's a list of total ineptness: 1. Flew out on SAS and my husband's business class TV did not work; 2. Moved to another available business class seat on the last row and it didn't recline; 3. Told the lazy agent that I wanted to pay my trip with my AMEX points - she didn't even bother to process it! I ended up pay cash for the whole trip; 4. Flew back on Air Canada and it WAS NOT business class - felt like premium economy! It was a rip on the price I paid!! The seats were "hard" and the service was terrible! 5. This lazy agent, Heather Sineti, did not follow up with my luxury trip and I was not notified of my flights (I kept calling and emailing to no avail) so I could not choose the business class seats of my choice! All the seats ended up in the back row. Heather disavowed any responsibility! 6. I emailed her at heather.sineti@arrivia.com, and she NEVER RESPONDED to my emails! She just got my money and ran! 7. She claimed she sent me my travel package (with luggage tags and cruise information), but I told her I did not receive it. 8. I actually called Oceania direct and got a great guy who forwarded the cruise package to me in a "jiffy"! 9. She didn't inform me that I had to make reservations at all the "free" specialty restaurants. Needless to say, by the time I realized it, we ended up spending my hubby's birthday in the buffet line because all the specialty restaurants were totally booked!!! 10. She did nothing for my hubby's 70th - NOT even a welcome gift! Oceania finally celebrated my hubby's 70th at 10 pm at night with balloons taped to the ceiling AFTER I kept reminding them that it was my husband's birthday! Needless to say -- a TOTAL awful experience with Heather at Arrivia! If you book through AMEX and they use a 3rd party like Arriva - RUN!! Call AMEX again until you actually get an AMEX agent! DO NOT DEAL WITH ARRIVA!!! And if you get Heather - definitely HANG UP! She is NOT detailed oriented at all! I have more - but it's long enough as is. read more

Book a vacation package with this company on April 26th 2021. My agent was MD Ali set up the whole package with Insight Vacations. I Oct 2 I check the Insight website and my package was gone. . Oct 4 I call Insight Vacations to see what happen they told me package was canceled and they notified my agent twice Aug 18 and Sept 8. At no time did my agent call me or email me or anyone from arriva. All they cared about was that I paid for a tour. This agent and the company that he works for didn't care to notified me. Didn't care the tour was canceled. This represents Arriva company that has no respect for their customers or any professionalism. I would never recommend this company or refer this company. We used this agency for booking a Viking cruise. The agent at Arrivia was horrible! We told Arrivia agent Dan we were cancelling our cruise, but he never notified Viking. We've been trying for days to get this taken care of but the agent is unresponsive. We'll contact Viking directly now. Arrivia and its agents are worse than useless. read more

Professional, knowledgeable and friendliest staff. Booked two very memorable travel experiences thru this agency. Our first trip was 9 days long in 2008. Susan had assisted us on booking air, hotel, car rental for the big island, Maui and Kauai. All the accommodations were spot on and meet all of our needs. Our second trip was a week long last month for 6 adults and 2 kids. Rosalinda had assisted us on booking all of our air, transfer and hotel for Riviera Maya, Mexico. The resort we stayed at was a great. It was in an ideal location, lots of variety of restaurants and plenty to do for everyone. Both Susan and Rosalinda were excellent and prompt communicators during the planning stages. Rosalinda was extra extra extra patience with us since we were such a large group, had several different payment plans, and were traveling to and from 2 different cities. I tend to plan my own trips but was planning European cruise with niece and wanted it to be special so decided to get help from an expert. Big mistake. My first warning was when suggesting a flight with just an hour layover that arrived in Spain the day of cruise. Any delay in NY would cause me to miss the cruise. She found flights great price but going out of our way and extending travel time significantly basically flying tho NC just to then fly back over NY when heading to Spain. The cruise ship Norwegian epic which she said would be perfect for 19 year old was more geared towards family and she would of loved it if she was 12-15. Food also is very sub par. Celebrity has better quality food. The hotel in Barcelona was great. Central and convenient. Why I am giving one star is simple when I went to select my seats for our flights to Barcelona I found out that they were basic economy. All paperwork from travel agency said economy. I called spike to agent who arranged everything. She said she had no idea and it only will cost $20 more for luggage. Called airline nope she was wrong again $60 dollars per person each way adding $240 to price of tickets and to late to cancel or change also extra charge for picking seats. If i had booked my self I would of been aware. I always find flights on travel web-sights but then go to airline to check flight. I assumed that an expert would actually know what they were doing. I was wrong. I would not of booked that flight because now with extra costs not worth the hassle. I did call to inform agent of the actual extra cost and was not apologetic for screwing up and assured me that they would seat my niece and me together and not worry well guess who was wrong again 10 hour turbulent trip I was separated from my niece who suffers from anxiety. I will never use a travel agent again after my experience with this one. read more
