Management admitted in writing that another tenant was given a second parking space in error on their lease. They also admitted they recommended removing that space because it was causing problems. The vehicle associated with this improperly assigned parking space occupies an area that is not identified as a parking spot on the parking map that was provided to me by management. Instead of being parked in a designated space, the vehicle extends into the common driving and maneuvering area tenants must use to access their assigned parking spaces causing daily risk damage to my vehicle. Whats even more revealing about this company is how the issue was handled! I repeatedly raised concerns that the parking arrangement could present code, safety, or fire access issues. Rather than addressing the problem directly, I was told management was waiting on city inspection results and that those results could affect the outcome. Months later, I was informed that the inspection they had me waiting for was actually a habitability inspection and that the specific parking location I had been complaining about was not one of the spaces that was evaluated. Think about that! I was led to believe the inspection would address my complaint, only to later find out that the disputed parking space had never been reviewed at all. I spent months waiting for inspection results that never actually addressed the parking issue at the center of the dispute. Even after admitting the parking space was assigned in error, admitting the situation was problematic, and acknowledging that the disputed space wasn't evaluated during the inspection, management still has not provided a meaningful solution. I have attached screenshots of the emails so people can read the correspondence and draw their own conclusions. Based on my experience, get everything in writing. Keep every email, save every photograph, and document every interaction. The only reason I was able to uncover the inconsistencies in management's explanations was because I maintained a complete paper trail. Without it, this would have been reduced to my word against theirs.

Dylan is stellar-- by far the easiest person I've worked with from application to approval. He is extremely prompt, diligent, kind and knowledgeable. We were showed homes by Bruce and Daniel who were both wonderful as well. Definitely experts on their respective properties and genuinely care about their communities and residents. It's apparent JRealty is fair, and quality in the scheme of landlord of the South Bay. Highly recommend based on our experience so far.

He leaves nothing to chance by handling every aspect of the transaction himself never delegating a thing. His attention to detail is remarkable. He read through every document that was sent to us even the lengthy HOA documents. He caught an error on title that no one else saw. He also worked diligently with insurance providers to get me insured in time despite our short escrow. As a high value property in a fire risk zone this was a remarkable feat as anyone familiar with California home insurance can attest to. Rodman takes great pride in his work and knows how to negotiate the best deal possible while keeping both parties on good terms. The whole process was a challenging one (not brought on by anything we could have controlled). Oscar stood by me, communicating each step along the way. He tolerated my anxieties that crept up, and did what he had to do to get the transaction done--always keeping my interests in mind. I would like to thank him for being a hardworking, honest buyer's agent and helping me buy a home that I am very excited about. If it weren't for Oscar, I never would have known about the property, as I wasn't even considering Manhattan Beach as an option. Funny how life works!

    I've lived in one of their properties for 5 years, and at least once or twice a month, the entire…read morebuilding's water is shut off--usually between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The management provides 24-hour notice, but the issue has been recurring for years with no lasting solution. Each time, they say it's due to plumbing issues in a different unit, but the result is the same: no water for hours, multiple times a month. It makes it extremely difficult to cook, shower, or use the restroom--basic needs. Despite this, rent continues to go up annually. When I asked about a permanent solution, the response from the main office was dismissive and did not include a timeline or plan for fixing the larger plumbing issue. I wouldn't recommend this complex unless you're okay with living without water at random times every month. Disappointing and frustrating. Also, several washing machines and or dryers are out at once, an ongoing issue. Positives: the apartment complex is always clean and pretty quiet, and I have my own parking space.

When I found a property to rent that I was interested in, I contacted Reyna, she told me I could look at the apartment using the lockbox. I really liked the unit, so I turned in my application, and told Reyna I would provide her with my income documentation if we move forward. She asked me to send a copy anyway, which I did knowing the process and of a rental application. I had a very good chance of being approved for the unit. I waited to hear back but she never called she never text. I noticed a few days later there were other applicants on Zillow for the same property at least five now. Still, no word from Reyna. I drove by the property about two weeks later, and the lockbox was still on the front door. When I checked the listing on Zillow this morning , the property had been sold, and there is no information on who the selling agent is. If you are searching for property and you come across this woman's name I believe she is scamming potential renters or buyers. It's very easy to set up an account on Zillow and anyone can do it you do not have to be a licensed realtor. I already sent a message to Zillow and I am reporting her to the department of real estate and the federal trade commission. I am tired of people scamming and taking advantage of hard-working people.
