I'm always a bit sceptical of any store that calls itself 'catalogue bargains'. I always wonder why…read moredid the products sell? is there something wrong with them? are they seconds? But recently when strolling past I happened to notice that had some Christmas wrapping paper in the window. Christmas was getting closer and closer and I always panic that I haven't got enough so went in to take a closer look, in all honesty expecting some thin, 'cheap' paper, how wrong I was! the paper was Lovely, the sort of quality you would expect from a reputable store such as m&s. I ended up buying reems and reems of the stuff. They also had some lovely gift ideas, and had I not already done my xmas shopping, I would've found lots of useful bargains here. All in all.. I was quite, quite impressed!

When you go into Scarborough twn centre you frequently see catalogue bargain shops carriers. People…read moresing its praises and recommend it. It does vary on the day and sometimes I haven't bought anything and another day have staggered out with bags of stuff .It is ex-catalogue stuff and now and again they have a sale and sell stuff off really cheaply ,i have had trousers for 62p and skirts and tops for silly prices.I have a much admired padded jacket which I bought for £2.49.It was a size 28 and I altered it to an 18 but it was well worth the effort. They sell some furniture and household items. They get televisions dvd players and a host of other electrical stuff. They have some toys and there are some god bargains in footwear.The only problem is that you can get hooked and it is hard to resist things that you dont need when they are really cheap.

I have been wanting to go to this shop for ages but every time I went it was shut, well I finally…read moremanaged to go there the other day and it was open. My 1st impression of the shop was that it is quite small and as such I didn't really expect there to be to look at, but as soon as I walked in the door I realised I couldn't be more wrong, the shop is on 2 floors and is 1 of the biggest model/hobby shops I've ever been in and it is not a big name like model zone but the shop is bigger than any of there shops I've been in. As for what they sell there should definitely be something for every one as not only do they sell model railways but model kits, die cast cars and bikes, R.C. cars and boats etc, scalextric and even dolls houses as built or in kit form as well as plans to build them from scratch! Being interested in model railways that was the area of the shop I mainly looked at and that took up probably about 1 3rd of the upper floor so there was quite a selection although there 2nd hand section could be better but then again thats is probably down to how much stuff people sell to them and when. I went with my father and we had a good look round at everything they sell just to see what exactly they have and there website doesn't really show everything that they have so it is definitely worth paying a visit as you are bound to find something of interest even if you aren't into any of the hobbies there's a good chance you will find something interesting.

Simple enough question when your stood in a shop surrounded by home built aeroplanes and helicopters etc. The response I had really shocked me, rude and abrupt is an understatement, when i said that some soldering iron work may be needed the shop owner angrily said that "he could damage it by soldering, what if I drop it and break something? That could create more problems, it could end up being 2 hours work!!" Now back to my original question, can you, If you can't can you recommend anyone? Customer service was a disgrace, what's sad is that I went there as I wanted the work to go to someone local, help local businesses etc... Now I'm back on Google getting the work done by someone much more pleasant 200 miles away.

Staff are usually helpful and there is the very rare occasion of a sale or reduced item bargains. This will fold unless they move into this century. I think it is only kept open with a band of modellers and collectors that have little choice of any where else as this shop has the monopoly in this area.

This realy is the best model shop i have seen in ages way better than modelzone, the staff are very…read morefriendly and helpfull, they have new and 2nd hand items, a layout that takes up half the shop so you can see locos running before you decide to buy them, realy reasonable prices and have given me discount in past as i go there quite often either tradeing or buying stuff from them. easy to find ust down road from morley town hall, plenty of busses go out and stop just near the shop, they have a surpriseing amount for the size of the shop as they have filled every avalible inch of space thay can. there web site could do with updateing but like a lot of people they probably just don't have the time http://millennium-models.co.uk/ would highly recomend this shop or at least pay a visit
