Their are some birdie opportunities so it is possible to shoot some low scores. The greens run true and the speed can vary depending on the weather but they always seem to hold okay. There are a few holes that can frustrate you if you let them especially if you try and kill the ball instead of playing the hole in regulation you will know these holes when you stand on the tee box don't be tempted. The club house has decent food and good service and the pro shop can provide you with anything you may have forgotten to bring but a low score. I hope to have a few more rounds here in the future.

Given the current conditions, I feel the course is overpriced. It's disappointing to see a course that was once so enjoyable not being maintained to the standard golfers expect. I sincerely hope improvements are made and that the course can return to the quality it once offered.

The Chapel Hill Golf Course opened in 1996 on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College. The original Chapel that once served as a place of worship now serves as a rather unique clubhouse. The clubhouse offers typical golf course fare - hot dogs, chips, pop, beer, etc. Rates are generally affordable. We generally try to "walk" most courses but this is one course where we usually rent carts. This course has a lot of ups and downs that not only makes the course challenging to play but it also makes for a long and challenging walk. If you're playing Chapel Hill for the 1st time, I'd strongly recommend using a cart. Then you can make your own decision on your next round. Chapel Hill was in great condition this season and the tees, greens and fairways were all in generally good condition. The last time we played there this season was in November and the course was wet but was still green and well-groomed. This course is off the beaten path for us (we all live in suburbs on the north side of Columbus) but it's pretty reasonably priced and is worth the drive. The staff in the clubhouse and the starter (one of the few courses we play that still has a starter) are all great.

I'm not a golfer personally, but my fiancée is, and he loves the opportunity to golf on this private course a few times a year. The course is gorgeous and very well-kept. You can tell they put a lot of time into the grounds keeping, and from what he says, the course itself is challenging and exciting to play. As social members, we enjoy going to many events at the club throughout the year. We've become regulars at the poker night, where we've met some good friends and always enjoy a great organized night of poker for much lower buy-ins than you'd get at a casino. We also love coming to the club for happy hour or dinner. The food is surprisingly good (we learned that everything on the menu is made from scratch). We love to order the pretzel bites as an app followed by any of the amazing entrees. The staff is wonderful and takes the time to learn your name and catch up with you whenever you come. Overall this is a great club and I'd highly recommend the social membership.
