Since Dr. Baquero has become my family doctor, he earned my trust over the years. He is very calm and very knowledgable, which is the most important qualification for a doctor. He also has nice bed manner but that's just a plus for me. I go to see a doctor because I want to have an accurate and fast diagnosis, and Dr. Baquero can deliver this. I gave 4 stars because their office staff is not that efficient. If I need a referral, it takes a long time. But still I go there because of Dr. Baquero and I can bear with other imperfections.

Due to a positive visit with him, along with recommendations from friends, I tried for some time to get assigned to him. I was not accommodated because he was not taking new patients due to excessive workload. When I learned that my previous doctor, who I liked even though I had him for just a short time, was transferring to a different office, I once again sought him out. I got lucky when I went in for a visit and I spoke with him about the length of time that I have been working on this. He relented and worked out the change for me. I have now seen Dr. Baquero three or four times and I have been impressed with the amount of time he spends with me during each visit. The doctor never seems to be in a hurry to push me out the door. He carefully explains things in a way that I can understand and he offers sage advice. He is also very caring and courteous (he even apologized prior to the least enjoyable part of a male physical exam!).

Aside from his utmost professionalism, he listens to understand, and doesn't impose only one solution to my concerns. He also enthusiastically answers all questions, especially on the varying facets of my conditions or issues. - Dr. Mann has never shown signs of rushing or trying to end the visit as soon as possible. He is thoughtful with his time, and he ensures he addresses concerns accurately, including next steps for varying medication or treatment outcomes. - He remains professional but also compassionate. He underscores the importance of knowledge on your conditions and corresponding mediations/treatments, so you walk out with better understanding after every visit. - His staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable as well. They respond promptly and provide needed information, as well as follow-through communications. - A part of me wants to gatekeep, but I believe the more people he and his team care for, the better it is for long-term overall health.

He talked loud the whole time and told me how I feel. When I tried defending myself; he got insecure, defensive, angry, and told me how smart he is and how he's fit for the job. From my experience with crappy doctors, they often get defensive like this when they lack experience and knowledge. He pretty much has the generic knowledge of your standard nurse practitioner. He said I need to treat my symptoms with "SSRI's, therapy, and Buddhism". While I was in there, he skimmed through my labs, didn't even look at other labs, and asked me where my thyroid panel was; I tried telling him it was right in front of him, but he refused to acknowledge it and kept interrupting me. He also told me how I lack the vocabulary to explain my medical symptoms. When he saw one of my labs was abnormal, he said that is was just an error. Amr is loud, aggressive, ignorant, misleading, insecure, and an asshole. It's one thing for him to lack knowledge and experience, but to be an asshole too?! The worse doctor I've had by far. (And I've had a lot of crappy doctors). Please save yourself a trip and do not see Amr. And if you see him anyways..... Goodluck!

Sam S. and Katie H. must have seen some other doctor because, in those 30 years, Dr. Cragun has seen me at my worst and never, ever, been rude, short tempered or disrespectful. (I can't say the same about a couple of other staff members or another doctor that was in the practice at one point.) Dr. Cragun has always been down-to-earth and honest with me. You'd never know he has a stack of honors, medical discoveries and innovative procedures to his name. At this point, I guess it doesn't really matter what anyone thinks of Dr. Cragun because he just passed away. I am heart broken and can only imagine the sorrow his family and long-time colleagues must feel. He leaves an empty space that cannot be filled.
