If I could give an establishment negative stars for a review, it would be this place. I normally…read morewouldn't be this harsh with a business but this is a doctor's office and you would normally expect a good experience from a business that provides health care services to the community. If I were to honestly describe my rating for this place, this review would be filled with profanities describing the awful experience we had with business. Let me preface this with a little background. We were coming to an appointment for a member of my family which required a little sensitivity from our part, but more importantly the doctor's office. In light of what we were being seen for, we were not instructed to take any special preparation or measures before arriving. As soon as we walked through the door a nurse ran up to us, in an alarmed manner and said you have to put this mask on. We were definitely caught by surprise. She was instructed by the individuals at the front desk (receptionists) to do so. Receptionists have no business instructing a nurse how to handle patients. We expressed our concern with the nurse and she mentioned that she was told to do what she did by the receptionists which made the situation more clear, but still not right. The nurse continue to make us more comfortable in the office and the appointment continued. Moments later, Dr. Marvin Gatz came in to see us and with hopes that our visit would improve, it only became worse. Dr. Gatz didn't show any interest or compassion towards the situation and didn't even think there was any concern after we told him how we were greeted in his office. This office and it's staff have absolutely NO tact, compassion, professionalism, or have any business serving our community. The were completely blasé about the whole situation and we were absolutely disgusted with the experience. We have informed our representative with the Department of Public Health and can assure you that we will continue to bring negative attention to this office. Interesting enough, we just received a call from Jodie, the receptionist and she continue to exhibit very unprofessionalism and insensitivity when working with us.

I didn't like to hear FACT that I'm overweight, but I am, and he is successfully assisting in treating my lungs as well. Breathing is better and I'm off two inhalers and the nebulizer machine. You couldn't ask for a better pulmonologist. He comes on a bit strong when first meeting him, but he is assessing you in order to give the best care possible. He reads your chart beforehand, takes extensive notes, and follows through. So I am in disagreement regarding the post previous written, don't know your history and hopefully, you'll feel better soon For those of you who are seeking an excellent pulmonologist, I highly recommend Doctor Jose Miranda.

I needed the med to control another condition. He made the sleep apnea all about my size, failing to recognize that I was diagnosed at a normal weight. I pointed all of this out to him, and prompted him to look back through my charts. The evidence was certainly there. He did, and also decided to joke around and compare my weight gain to "Apple stock." Apparently he uses motivation through humiliation. Doctors like this are garbage for your mental health. He needs to learn more about compassionate and collaborative care.

The office staff was very pleasant as usual, the weight time was excellent, the nurse was extremely pleasant and proffesional. Dr Chipps came in very soon. He listened to all my concerns as well as fears of going back to the hospital. He gave me his thoughts of what he thought it could be, ran an extremely large amount of testing . He was also very will to see me again if I had a flare up that day so he could see it. He took the time to write a note to the lab to notify them to draw my blood during an episode. I'm seeing him again on Monday to put a plan in place. His office as well as other providers are available this week should I need to be seen. I went from being in a deep state of concern to a place of hope and hopefully soon a resolution and diagnosis for my many symptoms I'm having . I'm so thankful he was able to see me a couple days after I left the hospital . Thank you for the wonderful care Dr. Chipps and staff.
