I could not make a decision at that time and decided to do more research and cost comparison. I returned a few weeks later and spoke to another salesperson who was just as patient and knowledgeable and helped me with answering my questions and offered to have Jennifer contact me because she was out that day. True to their promise, Jennifer contacted me and offered to bring samples of the carpet I was considering for an in home consultation. Jennifer is the best!! She is so patient and sweet. I price compared with several companies and found their prices to be the best and their salespeople are awesome! We went with this company for the 'lifetime warranty' on the products and installation and they are now not honoring the warranty. We've been given the run around for almost a year now and had multiple inspectors from the flooring manufacturer (Mannington) out to our home, only for them to lie and say the flooring experienced excessive moisture for prolonged periods and that is why it failed. That is absolutely not true and was their cop out to not stand behind their products. Run away from this place!

After installation, I started noticing multiple cracks, eventually up to ten across the floor, so I filed a warranty claim. I followed their entire process, including having an inspector come out, only to receive a report that made no sense. The claim was denied based on "improper installation," specifically stating the flooring was installed flush to the baseboards. That's simply not true. A proper half-inch expansion gap was left, exactly as outlined in the installation guidelines. Frankly, once they sent out their inspector, it became clear the outcome was predetermined. Instead of standing behind their product, they looked for any reason to deny the claim, and they found one. What's most frustrating is that I had flooring installed in the same home, using the same method, for five years without a single issue. The only thing that changed was the product color and brand, which strongly suggests this is a product defect, not an installation problem. Bottom line, don't put much faith in the "lifetime warranty." In my experience, it doesn't mean much, and the company will not stand behind their product when it matters. The flooring brand was NuCore. I will not be using them or this retailer again.
