It was Memorial Day and I was just leaving town; stopped at Bernice's for an iced coffee and a macaroon when BAM... KEYS went missing! To this day I don't know what happened to them. Long story short... called the OTHER Locksmith, then were rude and told me it would be at least $300 dollars and 24hrs+ before then could help me. Volkswagon was going to tow my car and take the door off to retrieve the key code # for $200+. That night I stayed with friends, 9am Tuesday, tried Art & Ray's as a last resort... SO Helpful! 45 Minutes later, $75, they made me 2 new keys and I was on my way. I almost cried. I was so thankful. Amazing!!! I highly recommend! read more

My parents called and talked with someone about drilling a lock on their gun safe, art and rays said they could do it so my parents drove 100+ miles to get the work done to find out the guy who could do it is on vacation. So they set up an appointment for a dif date and once again drove 100+ miles to missoula. They were late showing up, the only guy who could drill the safe never showed up and wouldnt answer a phone call. They unloaded the safe around 9am and said when the guy showed up they would call so they could be there when the safe was opened. Around 2pm after no call my parents drove back to art and rays to see what was going on and they were closed.....has to be the biggest joke of a company in missoula. read more

I own a business that is advertised as "secure". I had Art & Ray install a lock for me a few months ago and now all you need is a credit card or a stick to slide the latch bolt to the side to access the building. We have called three times now to have them fix it and they have never come out or returned our calls. Do NOT trust Art & Ray's Lock & Safe! read more

I've had them install deadbolts for me. Did a good job doing what they do. And what they do is lock stuff.

After three attempts to receive a deadbolt extension kit I was left to rot these folks need to hire more help.

Lost my car keys late August. Called A&R. They quiz me for info, tell me they can do the work, have the key replacement there, and to come in. Drive to A&R. Nope, we do not have that model. We can order it. I have them order. They take my name and number and will call when it gets in. Weeks pass, no call. I call. They have never heard of me and have no record of my order. I have them order again. Weeks pass. I call. Not in. They will call me when it gets in. Weeks pass. I call. They have never heard of me and have no record of my order. I order the key again. Weeks pass. I call. They have never heard of me and have no record of my order. I explain the past 3 months of frustration to the old guy on the phone and that I guess I will have to go elsewhere. I mention that if it was my business and I heard that a customer was treated like this it would concern me about my business model. Old guy hangs up on me. Initially I thought Art and Ray's was quick and cheap. That was until I got a call a week later asking for more money because the technician's mind "was on the next job" and he had told me the incorrect amount. The same technician refused to let me speak to a manager and hung up on me. It has been two weeks and I am still waiting for them to cash my check so I can get on with my life. read more

Terable service. They have had our handle for our car that was broken into for 5 weeks. Haven't given us a estaminet or even when the special part would arrive. Have to call them in order to get any info. Honestly I probably should have just gone to the dealership instead. If it's to expensive they can either just give me my parts back or keep every thing and I'll go to the dealership.
