Art & Soul never disappoints! Took my mom here for her birthday lunch and even she loved it (she's a very picky eater )! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a beautiful spring afternoon so we were able to sit on the patio and enjoy the weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were greeted quickly and sat at our table right away. I ordered the pear salad with grilled chicken and it was delicious! The chicken was tender, the pears fresh and the pecans and cranberries topped it off perfectly. This is a great place to stop into in Lincoln.

Art and Soul was recommended by two different people on our Nebraska Passport trip to Lincoln and so we decided to give it a try and boy are we glad we did! I ordered the Philly flatbread pizza and my husband spotted the beef drip right away and made his choice quickly. Both meals were in the $15 range and arrived quickly. The carmelized onions were the highlight on both orders although the flavoring on the meats was on point. The sandwich came with kettle chips and tasty au jus. Our server, Megan, took our order and had our water poured and ready in minutes. Our food arrived very quickly and looked as delicious as it tasted. Our server checked on us during our meal but never interrupted conversation and was attentive to keeping our glasses filled and having our check ready as we finished eating. Art and Soul offers classes (schedule on web site and at checkout) and has music nights. I can see why Lincolnites recommend Art and Soul--I will be doing the same.

Great atmosphere (outdoor seating), but a really long wait for food. Came in for group dinner to enjoy a jazz band event they have going on. That was the highlight of the night. As for the wait... I highly suggest NOT getting any of their flatbread unless you're OK with waiting a while. The staff are attentive and friendly. Really a 3.5 star place, but will round up for the Jazz event.

My favorite spot for a good flatbread, wine or a salad! Me and my coworkers always end up here after work grabbing some drinks. Their sangria is SO good. The owner is always welcoming and friendly when we come in. The strawberry walnut salad is my favorite. Their outdoor patio is so fun and nice when it's warm enough out. I have yet to try one of their cooking classes which I know will be great! Can't wait to get the chance to try.

Finding delight in outdoor dining this season. Art & Soul was designed for the al fresco experience. Plenty of space in the lovely sidewalk cafe. There is a dining room but if the weather holds, choose the patio. Beautiful salads, thoughtfully prepared sandwiches, inspired flat breads make up the bulk of their menu. Soup of the day is often a great choice to accompany another item. Haven't tried dessert but would bet they're as delicious as everything else.

Visited 2 months ago. Got seated right away. Our waitress was nice. The food was amazing. Got the half "french dip." Was smaller than i thought but packed with flavor.

Great food. The art and soul Philly Mac was superb. The shrimp wrap was outstanding with good size shrimp.

Started off with a delish Caramel & Cream Iced Coffee while we bullshitted, caught up with each other, giggled, and perused her lunch menu; which changes weekly! I snagged her crazy-good "Well, Hello Sunshine" custard style quiche chock full of apple, bacon and yes I said brie. PERFECT for lunch and especially breakfast, as it just reminded me of a slow Sunday. Comes with your choice of cold Macaroni Salad or Berries & Melon; hellooooo mac salad. She was sweet, oniony when it mattered, and pairs well with the savory flavor or the quiche. So glad I got to taste her "The Roast Beef & Blue". For the small little bite I had and shared, she was a tad salty (melted blue cheese on the toasted bread too), but I heard from others, it was very salty so word to the wise for folks with salt sensitivities. For that sweet snack later - although, I did take a few bites before we left - had to get her Lemon Shortbread and a very chocolaty piece of corner brownie; with nuts! Yall, that lemon was perfect. She's not a sharp zing, but a mellow lull. Highly recommend at least one gal-pal lunch or perhaps schedule in some high tea! I hear she throws great tea parties!

I recently attended a training series at the MCC culinary institute building as well. The parking was very straightforward and easy to get to, in multiple areas. There are stairs and ramps so easy to get around no matter your needs. Inside the culinary institute, the building was nice and kept up very well. They have flyers for events, and I know they have a restaurant there too. We had our food provided by the students and staff at the culinary institute and wow, it was great! We had blueberry muffins and fruit for snack and a taco bar with homemade tortillas, salsa verde, and pickled onions to name a few of the things I really enjoyed. There was also a cinnamon cheesecake for dessert. The staff was very quick to put the food out and collect dishes, it was a great experience.

There were 5 trucks along with several other vendors inside the main building. The facility and bathrooms were well-maintained. The campus was also impressive for what they offer. The parking lot was plentiful, however some patrons were lousy with parking their vehicles within the lines. This is usually a yearly event and the place was sold out of tickets which did not surprise me. Overall, a nice event at a wonderful facility that offers great opportunities for the community of North Omaha.

Would just like to point out that three people ordered the biscuits and gravy item. Usually most people expect the biscuits to be split in half with gravy all over them, this was not the case. However, during my most recent visit, the arrival experience was very disappointing. After entering, the host did not acknowledge me at all, and another family who arrived after me was immediately helped first. Several staff members were nearby and could have assisted or at least offered a greeting, but no one did. After waiting without acknowledgment, we ultimately decided to leave and go to another restaurant. Being ignored at the door made us feel unwelcome, and it completely changed our plans for the evening. Good service starts the moment guests walk in, and unfortunately this experience fell far below expectations.
