Absolutely love this concept- only open on Thursday, reservation only, different menu every time. It makes it feel like a special event not just dinner. To start, the place is beautiful. It is nestled hidden the hidden oasis of Bohemian Gardens. Small space with just eight tables plus a few seats right at the open kitchen. We'll be trying for those spots next time! Our server was Peyton and she was on top of everything, really top notch. The menu this night started with shaved Brussels salad. Something I've never had before and probably wouldn't have typically ordered and I would have missed out. It was one of my favorites of the night. Nice texture differences throughout and the flavors all blended so well together. Next was the Tuna Crudo, a switch up from the planned Snapper Crudo. I don't know what happened with the Snapper but I'm thrilled with the change. This was the star of the night. The tuna was amazingly fresh and the gazpacho and pickled daikon brought it to a whole other level. This was followed by Chur Siu, a pork chop dish accompanied by a tamarind raisin chutney and greens of onion and mint. The pork on its own was good, but when you did it as the chef recommends with a dab of chutney and some greens all in the same bite it was a whole different flavor. Lastly was the pudding. It was not what I expected but was a fun different take on the dessert. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

We were so excited to try Boho Supper Club. I loved the location and the pop up aspect of dinner,…read moreand felt the service was pretty good. However, I was not a huge fan of the meal. The menu is preset (which I don't mind) but it was very difficult to find items that I could enjoy with a dietary restriction. We started out with a butternut squash soup that was wayyyy too salty and did not have a ton of flavor. Next was a pesto pasta with burrata. Unfortunatley they did not have a switch out they could do for this dish, so I had to skip it. For our main we had brisket over butter beans. This dish was pretty tasty and well balanced. The ambiance was very intimate as it was in the main floor of a large and spacious home, and the cooks would prepare the dishes in the middle of the room which was cool to see. However, for me being able to only eat 2/3 dishes, and only enjoying 1 the price was outrageous. We paid almost 300 dollars for this meal which was NOT worth it. It is a fun experience and felt very intimate, but the price and flavor of the dishes left much to be desired.

It's part of the Stephen Center Workforce Development Program, which is a great cause. And - IMPORTANTLY - they make some really great sandwiches. I think my favorite is the Dr Pepper BLT. This is all quality ingredients; but the foundation for a sandwich is the bread. And let me tell you, they GOT this. A sourdough sandwich bread that you don't have to fight with. They put a lot of thought into all the menu offerings, and I have enjoyed everything I have tried. Dandelion operates out of a shipping container on 13th and Howard. There is a seating area there with umbrellas for a fairly comfortable dining experience. Service is great, everyone is friendly. They know they are serving good food!

(I would have gotten there earlier but I was busy that morning.) I waited in line for a little over an hour and ordered a lobster roll and a pear tarte. The lobster roll was absolutely amazing. There was SO much flavorful lobster, which I didn't expect. (Look at the pics; it's insane.) The pear tarte was awesome as well. Waiting in line for an hour was well worth it! If I go back again, I'll definitely try to get their earlier. Definitely recommend!

Nestled in the heart of the Blackstone District on a prime corner lot, you'll find a hip spot to indulge in eats AND drinks while people watching, dog watching, and more importantly... socializing! We HAD to get Taco Co. and their nacho appetizer sans cilantro and jalepenos (yes, we've already established I'm a ween when it comes to heat ). The best! Never soggy chips, doused in beans, protein (if you choose), cheese, sour cream, and so so good. Much smaller portion the Benson local and that's perfect for us. Visited Nice Rollz, and grabbed their Crab Rangoon Korean Corndog and lemme tell you... that cheese pull was REDICK, and then some. Perfect balance to the sweet and savory combo. The hotdog itself which was much appreciated (IYKYK). A must try for sure. Of course I had to order their Kamp Fire off their drink menu, and if you like those spicy/smokey drinks like me, this one with Mezcal is for YOU! Highly recommend Can't beat a one stop shop essentially, plus the foot traffic, parking (the lot just NE of Kamp actually) additions, and much more to see!

They definitely have/had some pretty high prices compared to other eateries in the area. I'm not sure if that is caused by cost of goods or location or what, but I think that did come into play when a lot of economic hardship is happening all over. Like I mentioned above, I DID like their food, but it definitely had to be a special occasion type of thing, due to the high prices. When we did go, I LOVED the Maryland Crab Dip. It reminded me of my favorite crab dip in the world, at the SweetWater Brewing Company in Atlanta. We also had the Green Bean Almandine that was on special last time we went and that was pretty good, but you have to be a green bean fan, for sure. I decided to try the sushi as my main dish last time, and had the Everything Crunch Maki, which consisted of cooked salmon, jalapeño, and cream cheese. It was pretty good, and had a little hint of spice to it from the jalapeño, which cut the heavy cream aspect. My husband had the Grilled Atlantic Salmon for his entree, and gave me a few bites. It was cooked well and the mushroom risotto below it was very flavorful and filling. The cute nautical ambiance and excellent service were always appreciated, so no complaints there either. I think if they had been in a different area with less expensive rent and cost of goods, I may have visited more often.

This spot was right by the hotel in Old Market, and we were early enough to get right in and grab a nice table (during happy hour, no less). The vibes are clean, nautical without being cheesy, and bright. The service was equally bright and helpful, and everything was flowing. On a super hot day, I had a Tom Collin's that was great and refreshing. Our group shared calamari with a top tier dipping sauce, an "aji verde" sauce that was new to me but I would buy it by the pint. We also shared their truffle fries and the side of mustard aioli was great as well. Best fries in a while. For my main, I got the blackened Mississippi catfish that was served over dirty rice, green beans, tomatoes, and a crawfish beurre blanc. It was as good as it sounds, I ate every bite on the plate. Okay, so let's recap: Amazing location? Check. Great service? Check. Good specials/happy hour? Check. Great food? Major check. Hard to top, I'll go here everytime I'm in the area and it was hard not to go back twice.

I'm not sure anyone had an amazing bite but the menu was large so there is still potential! I will say the one thing that stood out the most to me was the flavor. If the menu item said chipotle, Parmesan, honey, etc then that flavor was there and you could not get away from it! I had Parmesan in my potatoes and salad and it was overpowering. And my friend got the chipotle potatoes au gratin and said he could barely get the potato flavor. We all had the three course meal and most of us got the steak. We all ordered at different temperatures including medium well and they all came out rare or just uneven. It was good flavor and it wasn't too chewy so we all just ate it with no complaints! Along with the three course meal was a mini dessert so we all tried each and they all fell flat. We did get them to-go so maybe that had something to do with it but even a simple brownie wasn't anything great. Overall I want to chalk it up to wrong ordering and hope to come back and try other menu items and some suggestions!
