The house-made green chile cheese dip is basically a spicy, savory roux topped with crispy steak tips. It was rich, a little spicy, and incredibly satisfying. I really loved this and would absolutely order it again. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and it came with a nice, thick piece of chicken--always appreciated. The San Marzano tomato sauce was good and flavorful, and the dish was well-balanced overall. I'm a little picky about breading, and I didn't love it but flavor-wise it's spot on. I had total plate envy for the teriyaki steak bowl. It looks phenomenal and I will definitely be ordering that next time. One friend had the Moody Bleu Burger (without the jalapeños) and said it was still a bit spicy but tasty overall. Another friend ordered the Veggie Burger, and she said it was really good. She often orders veggie burgers and felt this one held its own. Someone else at the table compared it to the veggie burger at Leadbelly, with high praise. The Bistro Burger was also a hit flavor-wise--Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, and mushrooms worked well together--but the only downside was that the bottom bun got pretty soggy. I thought this spot in Lincoln, NE was quite good. Nothing out of this world but a solid, solid 4 out of 5 stars! I had the Beef Burgundy, and it was delicious. Root veggies, mashed potatoes, yum! But what stole the show for me was the potato bacon soup. Wow! One of the best I've ever had I must say. Super friendly staff, coupled with a cool music vibe ambience, and you got yourself a nice little restaurant in the haymarket area of town. I would highly recommend coming here if you're in town. I appreciate the wait staff's teamwork as they dealt with our large party after the Good Life Halfsy marathon. I ordered the brunch burger. The meat was hearty. Me and my boyfriend wanted to try something new in Lincoln so we came here for his birthday dinner! We got sat down right away and our food came out super fast even though it was pretty busy. Sadly me and my boyfriend both were not big fans of the meal. The parmesan truffle fries were underdone and a little soggy (probably cuz the bottom of the plate was straight oil). They didn't have any flavor to them either. My entree was lowkey bad too. The pasta was cold when I got it and the salmon was uncooked in the middle. The hostess was very welcoming and the atmosphere was a cozy rustic yet open feel. We ordered their devil egg flavor of the month (a-maz-ing) along with their smoked cheese dip which I may pass on. Went to this restaurant after a recent husker game. Had a party of 4. Had a great margarita to start off with that had the rim dusted with tajin. Very good! Service was prompt despite the restaurant rapidly filling after the game. I enjoyed my food but one in our party had some chicken that was very dry so that is why I'm docking a star. My friend and I came here for a weeknight dinner and it wasn't too busy but we did have a reservation. The interior didn't look that big but they also have outdoor seating. I tried the Mac and cheese and added fried chicken. The chicken was great though the macaroni could've used a bit more flavor or cheese. Been putting off writing this review because I dislike writing really bad reviews, but this place deserves it. We went there in August, 2023. Frequently have coffee, donuts (from Hurts) beer, Italian and other places in the Haymarket area. Our experience and meal here was easily the worst we had all of 2023. Had walked into it a couple of months previously, out of curiosity and decided to come back. The ambiance seemed to be an old building refurbished to be comfortable, but it wasn't. The brick walls and hard floors meant the noise was overwhelming. I wear hearing aids and couldn't find a setting to reduce the outside noise so we could talk comfortably. So be aware the noise can be difficult to allow easy conversation. Ordered a bottle of wine after describing what style we enjoyed. She pointed at a couple of them and I asked about a 3rd. She said we would like it. We didn't, Either she just agreed with me, even though I asked for a 'similar' wine or didn't really know them. Didn't finish it. I ordered a steak. I ALWAYS ask for it medium and then what to do they call medium. This can vary with locations. It came and was both tough and VERY overdone. After the wine issue I chose not to make a comment. However, like the wine either she didn't understand or deliberately ordered the wrong amount of cooking. Possibly the cook simply didn't do a very good job. We are voting for the cook because my wife ordered the lamb balls. She also disliked it. Not the lamb, but the meat was crusty on the outside, very well done in the middle and dry. Said if it hadn't been for the gravy/sauce wouldn't have been able to eat it. As it was she chipped away all the crust and just ate the center. We sort of liked the potatoes. As I said at the top this was the worst meal in a very long time. But add to it the cost had it being not just bad but over priced and bad. read more

The Bartenders are nice, place has potential. Tried it on two separate occasions this week, with dismal experiences both times. Good place for drinks and apps, but I don't recommend the main entrees. The Friday night fried fish was basically frozen patties, that were not great. Hush puppies were not crisp or tasty, and they should consider taking the Friday night fish off the menu . We had heard nothing but good things about Fleetwood and were incredibly excited to try it out for a much needed date night We walked in and were seated right away, and our server was quick to come by and check on us. There were several different drinks, appetizers, and entrees we wanted to try. So narrowing it down was difficult. I ended up going with the Pom queen which is a seasonal drink featuring jalapeño infused tequila. I loved that I could actually taste the jalapeño and spice in this drink. My husband got Fleetwood's version of an old fashioned and he also enjoyed his drink. We went with the smoked Gouda dip as an appetizer - I can never say no to cheese - and this was particularly good. Similar to a queso, but with fresh bread on the side to dip into it. For my entree I chose the soup and salad combo - asking for squash soup and rare steak on top of my salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the soup was piping hot, creamy, and flavorful. What really impressed us was how fast the food and drinks came out! We were there for dinner on a weekend, and it was decently busy, but our order came out accurate and quick Another thing that impressed us was how fresh everything is.
