I took the first of a new type of class and way of painting. The studio lighting was low with candles on the stations next to our easels. The class was a contemporary painting that included new to me techniques and was inspired with a guided meditation. First we traced "Sacred Geometry" or a flower of life on the blank canvas for healing and transformation. Then a base color for grounding and next a guided meditation (my mom came through) then we to painted blind folded. It was a great experience. Timree is a genius and intentional without being stuffy or strict. I'm a long term paint club member it's great value and this class was priceless for me.

I thought it was such a great idea and I really enjoyed browsing through the artists' wares. Most of the artists had a seconds box with pieces that were discounted due to cosmetic issues, but were still fully functional! I bought a seconds mug from an artists under the name Salty. What a creative way to spend the afternoon!…read more I was part of a Turkish mosaic lamp class hosted at Art Masterclass. First off - it's definitely harder to make them than it seems. lol If you have option paralysis or get overwhelmed easily, prepare yourself! Look at alllllll the colors in my photos available to use and maybe plan ahead. They provide templates of different floral, geometric, and banded designs that you can use, but you can go off-script if your noggin comes up with an idea! They give you a decent amount of time to create a design, glue said design in place, and then fill the rest of your lamp's empty space in with the tiny glass beads. There are a few final steps you can't complete while in "class" but that's due to the glue needing time to sit. You're not left in the dark however, as they show you a how-to video which is included in your take-home kit via a QR code. =) I noticed this place has other classes that seem like fun (terrarium and some sort of small dish painting?). I may need to return. Notes: - You interact with glue so you'll likely get messy. - There's a restroom to wash your hands, or if nature calls. - In the small bead fill-in time frame, everyone drops them. It's human. It became part of the experience. Aim for your tray!

A family situation…read morecame up, so we called ahead -- we were told on the phone that they would take us as long as we got there within 10 minutes. We rushed. My wife got out of the car and was at the door inside that window. They wouldn't let her in without me, and I was still parking. I walked in 11 minutes after the start -- one minute past their cutoff. There were maybe four to six people in the room. I explained the family situation involving my son. I told them it was our anniversary. My wife was distraught, and I pleaded with them and tried to reason with them. They turned us away anyway. We weren't asking anyone to slow the class down or stay late -- we would have caught up on our own. My wife left humiliated on the day she had planned as a gift. I get it -- you have to run a business, and you have to start on time. But she was there inside the window you gave us and you wouldn't seat her. It came down to one minute and two people standing in front of you, and you chose the minute. The class started without us. So did the last impression I'll have of this place.

I am 27 years old, I'd say the class ranges from 17-70! There is about 10-ish people in the class. Each person works on their own piece- meaning she is NOT up in the front giving instructions while everyone paints the same dang thing. This is not the type of class. The classes are intimate, and very relaxed. She has everything you need to start your first masterpiece. Really, you don't need to bring a thing! You can choose any medium in the adult class- oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, ceramics, and probably even more. It's is SUCH a great place for a beginner, because you can try all the different mediums until you find one right for you, with no investment in supplies! This is rare. Sher really is a wonderful woman. She is as hands on or hands off as you need. If you need her to sit by you and walk you through every step, she's there. If you want to do you own thing she'll stop by with once or twice with encouragement and her two cents! Most students in the adult class have been going to her for years and doing their own thing, so she's always able to give extra attention to newbies. She is very chatty, it seems like everyone in the class is old friends. She has great stories to tell. I'm a bit quieter while I'm painting, but I do not find the chatter among the class distracting at all. Even though I've painted most my life, i was a bit nervous coming into a new studio- NO NEED! This is the most relaxed, kind group of people I've found. No artsy egos, no judgment, no pressure. Lastly, her children's classes and art camps seem to be super popular. Some of the parents are now in the adult class because they were jealous of how much fun the kids were having. How cool is that!

The interior is incredibly vibrant and colorful which makes for a very welcoming atmosphere. The instructor Elle brought great energy to the class and was very encouraging to all the attendees. The class moves steadily so you don't feel rushed, and they encourage you to work at your own pace as well as allowing you to be free to make deviations from the painting as you see fit. There's a lot of freedom in what you create which I found to add to the experience as everybody's painting is their own unique piece of art. The staff help clean everything up at the end, assist with photos, answer questions, and let you take your time as you leave in the event you need to add those finishing touches to your masterpiece. Overall, this was such an enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend you check this out; whether you're going solo, with friends, or on a cute date. Super fun time and very reasonably priced.

When you walk in, all spots are already assigned so you don't need to get there too early to pick your seat. Showing up early does have a few perks since you can head over to the bar area at the back to grab some snacks and drinks while you enjoy a fun night painting. While at your assigned seat, you'll have all the supplies you need all ready to go! The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and I can't wait to head back for another event! When we checked during the camp, she was on the couch on cell phone. At the end my granddaughter spent a lot of time made a beautiful bracelet for Xmas, asked Marlow to tie it, she said she could not do it cuz of her long nails. I tried it not knowing what to do, all the beads came off all over the floor! My granddaughter was in disbelief and tears in her eyes. I felt very bad, but it was pick up time no time for her to make another one. For the 5 year old to leave with broken heart was not nice at all. The 7 year old tied his own bracelet but it all came apart in the car. For $99 per kid I paid almost $200, definitely was not cheap. Why can the teacher help the younger ones tying the bracelets? The beautiful long nails maybe more useful as a receptionist or secretary. I was more than disappointed!
