Jeniece hosted a paint and sip event I did for my corporate team at Art + Soul. The process was incredibly smooth and easy -- we set up the event over email, she sent over a link for checkout, and we were good to go. She was incredibly flexible with scheduling and working with me on the event planning. The location was easy to get to in Newport and the studio itself had the perfect amount of space for my group of 7 people. Be aware that you will have to pay for parking, but it's relatively inexpensive and done via app. During the event itself, Jeniece was patient and made jokes which we were very grateful for given that many of us hadn't painted or attempted visual art since high school. She provided the final product options and we voted on which we'd all complete. She was very attentive in the lesson -- she both demonstrated and walked around the class to see how we were progressing. She was incredibly positive with her feedback. We love this little gem in Newport Beach! It has been such a great place for home school kid art classes! They accept several charters. We have so enjoyed adding it to our curriculum! It is also great for adult art classes and classes to do with your kids! I have had so much fun venturing out and learning how to do macrame, calligraphy, and making collages with a soldering iron. They offer such a fun variety of classes! We even did my son's birthday party here and they went above and beyond to make his birthday special! read more

We just held my daughter's 13 birthday party at Art & Soul Collective. It was the most amazing night! We had ten 13-year-old girls for a journal making class. Some of the girls are naturally artistic and some are not, but the class was perfect for all levels. Bronwen was a fantastic instructor and super patient in walking us through each step. The girls got to pick their own paper covers, and weave together the binding on the journals, personalize and decorate them. It was nice for them to have a special piece to take home. And I loved trying to pour into each of them and see their personalities come out in how they decorated and designed their journals. THIS is my happy place. I've recently started going to this lovely studio and it has added so much joy to my life. I was scared to make art because I thought I was totally talentless. Bronwen's inspired and knowledgeable teaching coaxed some things out of me that I am so very proud of....from ladies nights to craft workshops, I've enjoyed making clay objects, printmaking and jewelry that gets me compliments everywhere I go. I had the pleasure of attending a sketching class as a birthday gift from a friend. Leslie was so sweet and kind and gave great feedback to my misshapen drawings. While there for that class I saw the flier for a mother daughter class. My daughter and I ended up doing the mother/daughter ceramic pumpkin class in the fall. We LOVED it and were treated SO well. One, the studio is quaint and adorable. Two, the subject was a beautiful Monet(not some metallic, neon calypso hat collection that would never make it passed my front door).
