We had our first experience at the Bodega and I would totally recommend it! John was our guide and he was a total delight !

Charged to much for class. Pottery not ready when said so. Couldn't find pottery said someone might have took it by mistake. Said we'll keep looking and will contact you didn't contact i contacted said they found it. went in to pick it up was not finished being glazed. she said it was put on the wrong shelf because it looked like it hadn't been painted. It had been painted. I chose to inform the person behind the desk. Evidently they didn't flip it over. It had been painted and she said oh. After weeks of going thru this my granddaughter finally got her piece they also said that if you don't pick up your piece by seven days, they throw it out . Horrible service i never heard a I'm sorry fr the lady with glasses who I dealt with or give my granddaughter a free piece To paint something?!?! They acted like they did nothing wrong. read more

We love this place! They offer a bunch of fun art projects but we only do the pottery painting (me and my 5 year old). In my opinion, this place is better than other pottery painting places because they let you get your own paints and don't limit you to number of colors or amount (other places have you write down what you want and you can only do a few colors at a time). Here you have full access. The employees are around but leave you alone and don't hawkeye your work. My projects have always been ready by the pick up date they write on the slip (usually 7 days, but one time it was a few weeks). read more

Classes and events are very expensive, make sure you read the small print when registering for events. Deposit required for almost everything which increases the already high cost of painting a ceramic item. I spent $75 on a mug and a mirrorball item that looks nothing like the example shown. We weren't given enough glass pieces to fill the plastic circle. Very disappointing! I'm response: there was a disclaimer stating the deposit would be refunded at the event. My friend showed that to the person when she was checking out and she didn't believe her until she pulled up the screenshot. The post was deleted immediately preventing anyone else from getting their deposit as stated. We did bring our concerns to those in charge. Others need to be aware of what to expect at this business. Not only that but it was extremely inappropriate to have drug paraphernalia on display and available for painting during an event targeted towards children. read more

This place is great for a date! The artists were very nice as well, and they have a bar which is unique.

This place is so much fun!!! My girlfriends and I had a blast last weekend painting! The instructor was fantastic. We laughed so hard we cried - and the drinks might have helped us paint even better ! I'm actually impressed how easy it was and it looks pretty darn good. There are so many class options you'll never be bored. We will definitely be back soon. read more

I have been to the Bodega several times and each time I'm there I have a great time. Lots of pottery pieces to pick from and neat painting techniques. I have done a couple of their taught paintings and while I am not an artist the instructors are very helpful so i go home with a nice piece of art. All of the staff is super friendly and that's another reason why I will drive 40min to create fun art pieces. read more

Kids had a lot of fun. It is not a cheap thing to do though. I didn't like that I had to wait continuously to get drinks as it was frustrating. But overall a good time and my kid was so proud of her work and it turned out very nice. read more
