We took some pics in the ring light and everything looked great. I got home and got ready for bed and pulled my hair up in a bun. I immediately noticed a HUGE bleed spot of color on one of my sides. I pulled my hair back down and went through and noticed several other spots that had at least 2 inch sized bleed spots. I texted a picture of this to Amina in which she immediately responded "Okay! Give me a text the morning of and we'll get it fixed! Sorry about that. Looks like a slip of the foil, quick fix though- we'll get it perfect ". Her mom then text me saying, "Hi, its Mary from Salon Méche. Can you come in tomorrow at around 1:30 So I can put some foils in where needed? I promise it won't take long. And if you like we can go ahead and put a more silvery- cool demi on you. I wanted to do that next time anyway. No charge . We want you to love your hair! And I apologize. That wasn't Amina...that was all me, trying to step in to speed things up. " I scheduled an appointment for that Tuesday. I went in for the "fix" and left with not only blue hair (she performed an ashy demo-thank God i know some Dawn and a good shampoo will get that out) but about 20+ individual foil lines all throughout my hair. There was ZERO blending of the color. Keep in mind, I've had my hair colored since the 8th grade so i'm not new to this whatsoever. I text her images and explained why I didn't want to attend my follow up appointment in the absolute nicest way possible. Originally, i was just going to wait until my "reminder text" for my next appt. However, it was scheduled for Feb 10th (4 days before Valentine's Day) so i assumed she'd easily fill that spot and would have a desire to do so. NOT ONLY did I get NO response but she blocked me on all of their personal and business social media accounts. (Update:MARY- IM SO ECSTATIC THAT YOU WERE ABLE TO RESPOND VIA GOOGLE WITH THE ULTIMATE VAGUE RESPONSE BUT NO TEXT RESPONSE. THANKS!!!) I'm not quite sure of a response to hair photos like that but the rest of their response methods caught me totally off guard. I had to then pay another $200 to get rid of my zig zag roots due to color placement and lack of root smudge! I truly loved both Mary and her daughter Amina personally but the simple fact they'd let me walk out of their salon with my hair looking like that and then treat me this way is beyond me! It almost feels like a sick joke. Business 101 - Respect your customers.
