Amazing art by Louise! This is truly a happy, fun, exciting gallery. The bright beautiful artwork makes you feel good about the world. Her selection of artists showing along side of her own work is wonderfully eclectic and constantly changing giving you something to look forward to each time you visit! Absolutely a "must do" for people visiting the lakeshore or going through Muskegon, this little gallery is right on Lakeshore Drive across from the access to the Lakes Ferry going to Milwaukee. Louise Hopson, artist/owner, is a talented ceramicist of great variety. Her store is her workshop as well. Also, Louise displays work from other artists, in a variety of mediums. Notably, her large collection of jewelry from many craftsmen is unique and ever changing. Everything from dishes to sculpture to refrigerator magnets is at Art Cats--all unique items. If you missed attending your favorite juried art fair, come here instead. This small store can take an hour or more to peruse. Louise has a fantastic memory for her clients' preferences. There's also a nice selection of handcrafted jewelry. It's very casual and accessible, so even people a bit shy about visiting a fine art gallery should feel comfortable here.
