So I visited this place three times while I was home. They have washing machines that fit 20,30,40,50 and 60 lb loads and well worth the money. Every time I have been in I have seen what seems to be the owner and employees making sure floors are swept, machines wiped down, helping guests that walk threw the doors. Huge screen tv with couches and desks to work while you wash your clothes. And it's cute, never thought I would say that about a laundry mat! Thank you for having such a cozy, clean place to wash my belongings! Much appreciated! I want to add they have detergent to purchase if you forgot, they have an atm, and they have a change machine. The machines take dollar coins so if you dispenses too many coins, it is regular currency.

I'm not sure if they don't realize that other places actually Heat their buildings in the winter and turn on air conditioning in the summer and someone sweeps the floors once in awhile. I was not talked to about the coat, how it would turn out or if it would change it at all! I had only worn it about a couple dozen times last winter. When I picked it up & got it home I realized the texture of the whole coat was completely different. It was matted & rough. It even had several "crunchy/scratchy" Spots on it...it felt singed or burned. I took the coat back to Art Cleaners to show them the damage & that my coat was ruined. They kept my coat to speak to the owner. A couple days later I went back in to see what they had decided they would do. They tried to blame me for the damage saying I wore the coat (which I didn't. I was going to wear it until I realized how bad it was! And besides even if I did wear the coat.....they still ruined it!! & that had absolutely nothing to do with it) They told me I put a "sticker" on my coat to cause a weird round patch that it had on it. Which I assured them I had Never put a sticker on my coat. I'm Pretty sure they lied to me when they told me they didn't dry clean it but laundered it. They ended by saying it turned out the way it was supposed to! However I was not told or warned it would completely change my coat. They did NOT discuss any warnings at all about it when I dropped it off. They then told me if I still wanted to "make a claim" I had to fill out a form however they didn't have any forms. They would submit it to the owner who would then decide a percentage of what he would pay me for my coat. They would Not give me the full amount to replace it. However if they did pay me any money they would keep my coat!! I am very upset & completely disappointed in their lack of responsibility & accountability. Also with their blatant lies & accusations! I am @ 50 years old & am an honest person who tries to support local Businesses especially right now! I will NEVER return to this business & I urge you to use GREAT caution if you decide to!!! They clearly have no respect for their customers or the clothing they are trusted to clean & care for!!!

The day I dropped it off, the computer system wasn't working so the lady took my info by hand. When I went to pick it up, they, of course, had no record of it and acted like I was lying about it. The VERY rude lady finally agreed to look for it and said she would call either way. She never called. My husband went back in to check on it then she was really rude to him as well. Terrible customer service and a lost item. I am so disappointed.

Last wash and dry has always been at 8:30pm. now today the door is locked extremely early and then worker completely rude and stalking. I've always been able to wash my 5 loads and dry and be done in less than 1hr. I usually say nothing however Ive recommended many people because it was clean, had hours flexible for all shifts, and staff (2016-2021) was amazing. its truly principle and I Matt and his wife are aware. I'm sure Bay City is not ran nearly the same as Saginaw. The prices increased but were still reasonable as it has discounts to those in college.

When I calmly reported the issue, the manager, Matt, was rude, dismissive, and immediately accusatory rather than helpful. While one woman involved with collecting money from the machines was polite and attempted to help, another employee was short-tempered and judgmental. She issued an incorrect refund and dismissed my explanation that the machines charge 25 cents for 4 minutes--not 5--resulting in an inaccurate refund. Throughout the entire interaction, I remained calm, did not raise my voice, and used no profanity. I clearly and respectfully explained that the dryer was not producing heat and simply asked for a fair resolution. Despite this, Matt escalated the situation, accused me of being argumentative, and ultimately shoved a $10 bill into my chest while saying, "How about $10?"--a physical and highly unprofessional act that appeared intended to shut me down and make me leave. Due to the lack of professionalism, disrespectful treatment, and unreliable machines, I do not recommend Colby's Coin Laundry on Bay Road in Saginaw, MI. You may end up wasting money on faulty dryers, and the customer service is not worth the frustration. There are better options available.
