The lady never applied pressure with her hands on my body and didn't even touch the bottom of my feet for the foot massage. This was my favorite place to get massages until my masseuse fell asleep yesterday. He was barely massaging my foot and it kept stopping so I decided to take off my towel covering my face to see what was going on and he was completely sleep. I looked over to my daughter to see how her massage was going and her masseuse's hands were not moving at all and all of a sudden her body jerked to keep from falling over. When they finally woke up the service did not change. They both rubbed back and forth using no masseuse techniques. When it was over and I brought my experience to the owners attention he laughed and downplayed it and informed masseuses falling to sleep is normal because of the peaceful dark environment. Stopped by without an appointment to get a foot massage. First time to get reflexology, so I have nothing to compare the experience to except for massages and pedicures. It was a good combination of both. The massage room is cool and dark and quiet- which is 3 steps up from pedicure at a nail salon. The massage was a little much in some places (the neck, and it felt like she was just scratching my head not massaging my scalp). I came here on my mother's insistence. I showed up expecting to get a massage, but ended up having the ladies forearm trying to drill its way through my spinal column. This lady also is not a trained masseuse let alone chiropractor, yet she decided to crack my neck. She did that wrong too and I ended up in some pain. One particular day I was in desperate need of a massage, I called 45 minutes in advance and they booked me. It's a very tranquil, spa-like atmosphere. They take the time to make sure you are comfortable by giving you a temple rub and placing a cloth over your eyes. There is nice music in a nice aromatherapy. This was my first time at a place like this. I have always gone to a regular massage therapist and done a private massage. I didn't like the environment as much as a private massage but my therapist did a great job. The place seemed clean. They were very friendly. I think it is a good value but I thought it was uncomfortable doing the foot portion of the massage in a large room with other people and I couldn't really relax with the distraction of people going in and out and all my clothes on. I will probably just go to a regular appointment from now on. Please work on customer service, I was unhappy with my massage , it felt pretty rushed. During my full body massage she did not even touch my arms and did not want to give a tip. Owner told me do not come back. I politely said OK I will not. He got angry, not sure if it was because I was calm. He puts his hands on me and I asked him not to. He waved his hands around aggressively in the air upset. I walked out. I simply ask please work on customer service. I typically get massage once a month. No set spot because I travel a lot.
