Rude, very short & little male worker with an accent yelling…read moreand harassing me because i stepped in for the first time and took a picture of one of the art pieces. Mind you, i didn't see a sign or know no pictures allowed. I've been to art galleries where pics are fine and if they aren't, a worker will let me know, usually in a polite manner. No this man yelled at me and even after i instantly put my phone away, he kept yelling about it. As if he was scolding a bad child. I'm an adult. I respect people. Therefore i require respect & human decency in return. He harassed me to the point of needing to leave. Sad to say i will not be returning and letting others know of his poor service. On another note, the art gallery on 6th street belonging to Sean turrell is amazing and he provides excellent service and interaction.

The times and days are inconvenient because of that especially for the working student which lets be honest that's most of us. Not to mention how racist most professors are to their students who are not white. Some staff members of the school have expressed their dislike for students who aren't white. I'm disgusted that I made the error of becoming a student here. Being a student here is an obstacle against your education on a daily basis because of the inequality at NCC.

So here I was again, since they only have very select hours, I brought another girlfriend to paint…read moresome ceramics , we got there at exactly 12:00pm when they opened, she picked something to paint for herself to put out for the holidays, and YES I did another Christmas gift, this time for my sons girlfriend. As always Mrs,Kelly was an spectacular. Help for me and my girlfriend. This time we brought a large bottle of wine and had a nice time, but have to return to finish our project. With being open for only 4 hours just isn't enough time. I will be going with another friend on Saturday to pick another project as a gift... I won't finish todays project until I go back with my one girlfriend. I seem to like to pick ceramics that you can put a tea light candle in, so it gives it an extra effect. Here is a picture of what I was working on today, just realize not completed. And after it's fired and glazed, it comes out so much darker and shiny.

She saw what was done and really couldn't do anything to fix it. The trim was incomplete and each side looks different. It will take 4-6 months for my hair to grow out so it can be corrected. As the instructor and stylist were discussing, it was clear that the stylist did not understand what the instructor was showing her. She did not seem ready to be working on clients. I hope the school takes action.

They worked hard to give us a good education and always did their best, even when the resources around them weren't ideal. However, I want future students to be aware of some ongoing issues on the administrative side. There is a significant miscommunication between the business office and students, and the processing of graduation paperwork is extremely slow. Many of us have had to wait 4-6 weeks for our paperwork to be sent to the state, which delays being able to schedule our cosmetology or nail technician licensing exams. It almost feels like the paperwork gets "stuck" somewhere, and no one can give a clear answer on the status. Additionally, the facility itself could be better maintained. There were several times when the bathrooms did not have adequate soap or paper towels. The teachers do what they can, but this is clearly an administration and management issue, not an instructor issue. Overall: great teachers, frustrating administration. I hope they address these problems because the students and educators deserve better.
