This is a very neat store..I visited the store because I heard that they sell Spartanburg logo tees. This is one of those type stores that you want to just browse around forever because of the variety of interesting merchandise that they have displayed. The owner was very helpful and friendly and I gathered that the primary business is framing and artwork. Although I wasn't shopping for anything today but a special tee shirt, I will certainly return in the near future . read more

Did a beautiful job framing for us but just too expensive as I had nearly 10 pieces to frame and could only afford 1 which set me back nearly $700! Though frame was lovely, when on the wall, it looks no different than cheaper ones at Hobby Lobby. Will never go back here. Would have cost too much so went to Hobby Lobby instead. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Brandi D.

Brandi is an artist and professional picture framer with over 10 years of framing experience. She has been painting and showing her work on galleries since 2005 on a professional level. Brandi moved from Michigan in 2003 and opened the Art Lounge in 2011.

Every entry that I saw was exemplary and showed a lot of developing talent. This center is a remarkable example of the pride that the city of Spartanburg has. The Chapman Cultural Center is located in Downtown Spartanburg. There is free parking on both sides…read moreof the center. On the campus are the Artists' Guild of Spartanburg County; Ballet Spartanburg; Spartanburg Art Museum; USU Upstate Art Gallery; the Spartanburg Science Museum; and the Chapman Theatre. These all have their own operating hours. The center is very easy to navigate and figure out where you want to be with the signs. I only visited the the art galleries as I arrived late in the afternoon. I would have loved to see a show at the theatre so now that I learned about the center I can follow the events as they happen frequently.

Amazing customer service ! I dropped off a couple of prints to have framed for a wedding gift a fees back and was told a timeframe when they would be ready . I was out of town when the call came and my voicemail was full so I assumed they were indeed ready so I dropped by today . Art Lounge had called to say the molding I had chosen was out until March 2022 and wanted me to know in case I wanted another to choose a different option... As it has happened I chose to give the prints unframed as the gift and I will let the recipients choose when they are ready ! Art Lounge cheerfully refunded my deposit ! What a great team and so pleasant . They answered all my questions about visiting artist and such . I know they have been in the community for years and this is their new location... everyone needs to check this space out and see everything they do have ... it's not just a frame shop ! Highly recommend for so many reasons ! read more
