Update: 4/10/26 The manager of CoC finally contacted me…read moreregarding my FIL's VA Bronze grave plaque. She gave me the current status and progress of what is currently happening. Long story short, she said the holes were incorrectly drilled on the grave plaque, and did not match the standard holes of CoC specifications for the granite base, and could not be installed. (SIDE NOTE: CoC "approved" the grave plaque draft specification from IBC that gave dimensions of the plaque and measurements of the installation holes and posts). So the base is currently being made to match the drill holes of the gravel plaque. She said she will "personally" take responsibility of the grave plaque installation. CoC manager stated that she will take a pic after installation, and send the pic to me after completion in about 3 weeks. I appreciated the update. But it took a second call for the manager to call me back before I was contacted with this update. During our conversation, all I asked was why wasn't periodic updates communicated to us for over a year? I had to initiate the communication every single time. There wasn't a heartfelt apology. The manager was more focused on who should've been contacting me instead of saying something like, "You're correct, I apologize. We should have been better at communicating with you, and give you updates periodically regarding your FIL's grave plaque installation". Overall, CoC will need to improve on their communication with clients. This also occurred when my father passed away December 2024. I had reach out for information several times regarding viewing preparations and transportation of my dad back to Hawaii to CoC sister cemetery Valley of the Temples. Hopefully, my FIL's grave plaque will be installed soon.

We didn't feel any pressure to do or purchase anything over the top or unnecessary. She insured that we had the military (Navy) honors ceremony at the graveside and that was really nice. The cemetery is well maintained and I really hope that is the case throughout the upcoming years. We have many family members and friends at rest there. The restrooms in the main hall should have hooks in the bathroom to hang purses/jacket/sweaters - a personal recommendation!

Being able to have everything coordinated and completed within a single week was nothing short of a lifesaver, and their willingness to open early for us was an extra act of kindness we won't forget. On the day of the service, all of the flowers sent by loved ones were beautifully arranged, adding a sense of care and dignity to the space. My Co worker looked like he was taking a nap. The Funeral Directors had did a great job with the Service. They had respected his families Ethnic Beliefs. They arranged an Air Force Honor Guard since he had served in the Air Force. It was a standing room crowd. It was a tough service seeing his Mom suffering though the service. If your reading this review I think Mission Did a great job,. If you ever consider Suicide please don't and seek professional help. Suicide leaves a wide path of devastation and unanswered questions.
