Joan was our service coordinator and she was very professional and thorough. She answered all of our questions on what we could customize and, if she wasn't sure, she would make sure to find out. All of the staff was very responsive via email or phone as we made arrangements. Shannon was another associate that I was in contact with to help with the copy for the memorial folders and on the day-of of the funeral service - she was amazing, personable, and remembered even small details that I had mentioned. Another person who I'd like to acknowledge is Phil; he was around each time we had to go to the mortuary, and he was always very helpful and kind. The whole service was pretty seamless and we were able to do personal touches so that we could still honor my dad. They arranged an Air Force Honor Guard since he had served in the Air Force. It was a standing room crowd. It was a tough service seeing his Mom suffering though the service. Honor cremations is a legitimate organization. My family chose Honor Cremations and had a…read moresuccessful Cremation and Memorial with them. Customer service: 5/5 Value: 3.5/5 Execution: 5/5 From a service standpoint, they excellent. The team is available 24 hours via phone and text. For the majority of my work with them, they were extremely responsive, had good pass downs between shifts and team members, and worked to meet all our needs and timelines. They never pressured us into anything or upsold us. They just wanted to support whatever we needed. My family needed an expedited cremation and memorial all within a week of my family member passing and Honor Cremations was able to make that happen and get the paperwork done with the county in that timeframe. Honor's paid casket option was cheaper than other crematories and was a very nice, presentable casket. Honor does not embalm in house but has embalming providers they can work with. The only reason I would hesitate to select Honor again is because other crematories were more cost effective (up to $1000 cheaper for our package selections), but Honor did what they could to reduce costs and provide flexible options and offerings. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others if service and empathy is a top priority.
