I watched​ all the ​ possible Youtube videos​ and decided that the machine was broken and took it there for service. I didn't pretend I knew anything about sewing or sewing machines. The person that I was dealing with could easily charge me for whatever she wanted. She looked at it, turned a few knobs and magically the machine started behaving again. She explained to me what was wrong, and how to take care of it. No need for service, no charge. I came back home and was able to finish my project. It's definitely a gem!

I'm not the biggest fan of rides although the ones here I will selectively enjoy but the best part to me is going through and seeing all the 4H animals including the horses the cows, chickens, goats, rabbits and all the other great showcases they offer. The photography contest is one of my personal favorites and I also love that they do baking contests as well as woodworking and Legos for kids. It's fun for the entire family and has something to offer for all age groups. The food is pretty good for festival food and I believe they've even added a craft beer tent which is a huge plus. They are both knowledgeable, cordial, funny, and the entire tour was educational, fun, and wonderful. Aside from alpacas, you'll also be introduced to their horses and donkeys. After the tour, we went through their gift shop, which had everything alpaca. From socks, to hats, and even ribbons of their award winning alpacas. The alpacas are friendly and curious but don't necessarily like to be touched so they're very clear about how to approach them. After spending a good amount of time in there learning about them, we went into their farm store where they sell the yarn from the alpacas and various alpaca fleece items. It's a really fun and wholesome experience and, if you have other things to do out in that area, totally worth the time and the drive!

During the week, campers will work with a choreographer to perfect two dance routines -- one to a musical theatre show and another to a pop song. Between dance classes, campers will rotate into improv and arts and crafts classes. Each week culminates in a performance of the two dances in front of a very packed crowd of thrilled parents and relatives. The head counselor August is awesome and the staff and CITs follow his enthusiastic lead to deliver an incredible experience for all of the campers.
