I did a walk-in for a Mani/Pedi and eyebrow waxing. I was greeted and seated right away. Now I know I have the ugliest feet ever but what can I do about it?! This review is for the Horseheads location on Westinghouse Road. My mother is one of your regular customers. She is too nice to say anything, but I'm not. So here it goes....Advice, if someone goes to the extent of making an appointment for services, don't make that person constantly wait because you took a walk -in just before she arrives. Her time is equally as important as yours. If this was the first time it happened, you'd get a hall pass, but it's not. It happens ALL the time at your salon. In this last round, you made her wait for over an hour. Not ok!!!! My sister was one of your clients. She had the same issues with this location, so now she goes to another salon (and not one of yours). Spent 100.00 on Mani Pedi and gave tip. Owner told me not enough. Gave 10 percent as all I had at time. I normally pay 15 percent. This is the worst place I've ever been to. I had come in the week before to make sure they could do what I wanted. I wanted builder gel extentions on both my toes and my fingers so they would be square and I asked if they took tap that I could pay with. When I got there they didn't have builder gel, just acrylic with gel on top. They very obviously talked badly about me and made faces. I asked for squaretoes and I like to keep my nails longer. She cut them off all the way to the nail bed and round, and then went to acrylic only on my big toes but wouldn't make them square only round. When I brought it up she shrugged her shoulders said "we don't do that, and It's done now so what do you want me to do" and rolled her eyes. The color that was put on my toes didn't match what the board looked like, but I wanted to be done and left the color be but said I wanted to pick a different color for my fingers, we verified the label on the bottle match the model, but when it was on my fingers it also was completely different. The nail lady cut me multiple times, and when I asked her to be careful she waved me off with her hand. And then when I tried to point out that some were crooked she rolled her eyes and yelled "anything else?". When I went to get my eyebrows done here was no prep done and she didn't even ask me how I wanted them. I went to pay they said they don't take tap, yelled at me about stealing, then luckily called the owner and the owner let me pay with Venmo. Then the lady yelled when I didn't tip them and asked why, in the middle of me trying to explain she put her hand in my face, waved me off, and walked away. Don't know how others have issues. Everytime I get a fill I get a very hard design and everytime they have delivered perfectly with the results. If you want nail techs that follow your picture to a t, go to them. If you don't want to wait, go mid day or later in the afternoon on a weekday like past 6:30. I have been here about 3 times now and would say this will be my go-to nail salon. It's closer to my house then the Vy Nails, which I was going to before and the consistency is better. I like UV Gel manicures, I've never done the powder and hadn't heard about it until I moved up here. They have a lot of choices on the colors for UV Gel, not just Shellac. It is a very spacious nail salon, there are couches for waiting periods, you could definitely fit a lot of people in here if there were enough manicurists. I came one night when there wasn't anyone left and they called someone in to come in 10 minutes- that was pretty good. The only negative I had about that day was it took an hour and a half from the time I got there to the time I left. I like having my French manicure done with a thicker line then most people and she was using the smaller brush = twice as long. Pedicures are comfy, a little quicker then I would like but overall I liked it. Make sure you have a lot of time when visiting here, it takes times so have some patience. They have a 'member card' where you can have them sign it and after 10 times you can get a free 10 minutes massage or $10 manicure for free. Not a bad place so if you're shopping around for a nail salon, I say give this a try at least! read more

Have had my nail done there several times but last night was unacceptable. I get dip nails and the technician doing my manicure did not do the first application step of dehydrating my nail or the second step of applying the white base dip powder. This place is filthy. I went with a few friends and we were supposed to have an appointment for all 3 to have manis together which we booked a week in advance. The place isn't laid out to talk easily so that wasn't great. The station I was seated at had just been used by another customer who was being moved to another station to make room for me and it was filthy with nail dust everywhere. The lady who did my nails didn't sanitize the station or any of the tools AT ALL before I sat down. Not even a wipe down. She just started to file my nails with a well used tool. In my opinion by far the best place in the area to get your nails done. I've tried a few other places in the area but keep coming back to them because the quality of work is superior. My manicures and pedicures last a long time without any damage/chips/cracks. They try to accommodate everyone even without an appointment and I've watched them stay after hours to help get their customers taken care of. It does take a little longer than other salons in the area, but I'd rather pay for high quality work that takes a little longer then to pay the same price elsewhere for work that chips/cracks/or is uneven. This is the only place I go for pedis. Even when they're super busy, they take their time and don't rush you out the door or do sloppy work. They actually thoroughly massage your legs and feet, even for a basic pedi. When your nails are drying they come over and ask if you want a neck massage. The prices are comparable, but I feel like you get more for your money here for sure. I've gotten gel manicures and eyebrow waxes here as well and am always happy with the results. i came in with my natural nail super strong and long. i wanted gel nail polish and thay gave me dip nails and said it's healthier and better for my nails. first of all that's not what I asked for or wanted I just wanted my nails painted. I asked for my natural nail to remain the length they were when I came in and they filed them down so short i hardly had any length. After taking the fake nails off they gave me that I didn't ask for or want it ruined my natural nail. it peeled all my healthy pretty nails off down to barley anything on some fingers and my what used to be healthy nails are now so paper thin they bend in every direction and they hurt so bad. I feel bad saying this because they seemed nice but I will never step foot back in this nail salon. There are few times in my life I am not satisfied and highly disappointed with the service and this is one of them. I am shocked! First, their prices are high. They don't communicate that I was getting a spa pedicure which is more expensive. Then she charged me 50 dollars for a mani and pedi. I had clearly stated I wanted a gel manicure numerous times. The extremely strong chemical smell at the door should have turned us away to begin with (listen to your inner voice).
