I got a regular manicure with regular polish and all wanted was one coat of clear gel to harden my actual nail (no set, no tips, no acrylic, etc.) and the older woman at the front charged me for a full gel acrylic set $70. This place is a no go for me. I went in for a fill, i ended up paying 65 for a fill where i got my nails even shorter than the previous set just for all the nails to look different. The guy rushed. The drill they use is way too hot so it starts to burn your nail bed. They do have a nice clean salon but its like a cult. The first set i got done also grew out super fast. Over the phone I also said I wanted gel x but they ended up doing acrylic and it was too late to say anything. I do like Elsa. She is super good, The drill did burn though but could have been an accident. Don't recommend Kevin. Didn't ask what base color I wanted for my french tip. And the massages they give hurt. They also just expect you to tip... like give me my change lol. read more

Well first off, I went in and the person that took care of me barely spoke or understood English at all, the girl next to her had to keep telling her what I wanted. I told her I did not want gel polish. I got a mani & pedi, and I ended up with gel polish on my toes and I have no idea what is on my fingers! So when she did my mani she took the grinder to my natural fingernails. Which I have never had that done in all my years. She wasn't even going to soak my hands, I had to tell her to do that. I got a French manicure and the white tips didn't even cover my natural tips of my nails, they were so thin. And two weeks later I had a couple of chips so I decided I was going to take the polish off. Whatever she put on there will NOT come off!!!! I will have to have it ground off my natural nails. I am not having them grind my nails twice in 2 weeks time. So I guess I will be growing them out and cutting my nails down until all the nail polish is gone. They charged me $110 plus I left a $20 tip. Oh and $10 of that was for the itty bitty tiny little heart that I had put on one finger on each hand. I will never ever go there again, not even if it was free!!! You couldn't even pay me to go there again!!! Don't waste your time or money go someplace else!!!! Probably the worst salon I've been to in the area. I went with my mom and my uncle and they get pedicures so I had no idea of how they did acrylics. Safe to say I'm EXTREMELY disappointed. I got these on Sunday and they already look 2 weeks grown out because they did not push the acrylic all the way down, the nail art is messy, not enough layers and the colors are see through, they didn't file the backs of my nails so there's acrylic buildup underneath and they cost 95 dollars, which I was also guilted into tipping so I left five to make it 100 and was very rudely talked about for not tipping more. read more

Very clean and orderly, always expect to wait because they are usually always busy. Try and Request Elsa or Jenny both create perfect nails and make amazing designs. My only problem is Jon, he is rude and doesn't do a good job. Obviously don't expect nails you would get at a high-end salon people. I have gone here a few times and never really had an issue. I liked it because you never have to wait. Boss lady is fairly nice. I wanted a manicure and a pedicure. Cheri Cherri sp? Was doing my manicure and she was rude. I told her what I wanted (light pink top coat instead of clear for an American French manicure) she started arguing with me that's not what we do..we do clear." Then gave me a bitchy attitude when I told her they were not what I asked for. Had dirty gloves on.. other places request you wash your hands before gel polish is put on so they don't paint on dusty nails...not this place. That's why the color chips so fast. Pedicure done by a different person or I wouldn't have gone through with the pedicure. Pedicure did great. I see a common theme of rude and nasty staff. Is it all of the staff or one person? I've gone here 3 or 4 times. The lady at the front counter is always rude. I left a tip based on how much my nails were and the difficulty of them. All I got was a French tip. After two months of getting dip powder at showland they filed my nails so thin it broke at the bed. This has never happened to me in my life. I initially went in and asked for something that wouldn't damage my nails. Every time I went in for a color change they would use the electric nail filer machine to remove the old powder which led to my nails being very thin. Summer is rude - anytime your hand isn't in her preferred spot she yanks your hand and gives you a death stare. The elderly lady gets mad if you don't pay with cash and if you don't tip $20 she looks at you funny. I'm tired of places like this. read more

I have been going to Showland almost ever since they've opened. fFor the most part it was a good experience. The color was good and I mainly got the most friendly of nail techs. You can tell when someone is having a bad day, because sometimes they'd be short with you. In July I went for my usual powder gel and to change color. Everything seemed to be fine until 2 days later when my ring finger started to be sore and crack underneath the nail. it was itchy and spreading. I knew then that I had gotten a dirty utensil they had used on my nails. I had contracted some type of a fungus on that finger and my thumb. I have spent too much time and money on trying to heal this and my nails have suffered and are still not right. I expect a clean and healthy environment each time for the money I spend for my nails. I've been a loyal customer for a few years now; today however has been a moment to give props where props are due. My two daughters and I went in for our 10 am Mani/Pedi appointments, mind you the day before Easter so it was extremely busy with walk-ins and we had a wonderful experience! My eldest daughter and I had Cherri, who is absolutely amazing and pleasant to be around. The youngest of my 2 daughters however, was having issues with finding the right color and shape for her nails and was getting quite emotional. Sherry and Cherri, both, were sure to comfort her and made sure she found the perfect color combination and shape. Cherri got several different colors and tried them on her nails and took the time to make sure they were filed down to the perfect shape. It may not seem like much to some people but, to my daughter and I, it meant everything. The patience and attentiveness Cherri gave to her to make sure she left the business happy, is above and beyond! Cherri has been my go-to nail tech for quite awhile now, she has perfected her craft and is very knowledgeable about the process of doing nails and shares her knowledge with you, if you ask questions. Some other wonderful techs that I have had the pleasure of getting to know - Yuki, Maria, Marlena, Lemon, Kevin, Leo and many many others... this business is filled with talented staff with amazing personalities! I can't forget to mention my favorite "boss lady" either... Sherry! She makes you feel so loved, she truly cares for her patrons and wants everyone to be happy! She's constantly on the move and keeping everything functioning and organized. She's definitely the mama of the shop and takes care of everyone in there! So, thank you Showland! Thank you for being an upstanding business, doing what you do best and caring for every person that walks through your door, treating them like they're the most important person there; just to make sure their "pamper day" is the best it can be! my first experience was wonderful. I went back a second time and it didn't go so well. I just went for my third visit tonight and I will absolutely never be going back. This is my nails two hours after leaving the salon. The gel polish is completely peeling off. They are chipped. They are spotty. They are bumpy. They are completely uneven. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE !!!! I have already wrote a review on google but the customer service here is so vile I had to write another. I spent 85$ on the set of nails seen below. They charge you an extra 15$ to get chrome , 5$ for French tip , and 5$ for shape. After having tips put on and I had said I wanted almond shape, the tech cut the tips all the way down to my real nail , leaving no extra nail for the almond shape , after realizing, she took the tips and pulled them off , then putting on new glue and putting on new tips she then finished the acrylic and started the design. After 35 minutes of her mumbling and visibly being confused and not knowing what she was doing she called the main nail tech( the owner) over and he then moved me to his chair and shaved my nails down and restarted. I was with 2 other people who had been waiting on me for 30 minutes ( they got a full set and pedicure) . I was over it and wanted to leave. The very next day I look at my nails and the chrome is coming off and is splotchy. For 2 and a half hours and 25$ total EXTRA on top of the 60 acrylic price. I called the next day saying that I have never complained about a set of nails but I'm just really not happy with the outcome and I would like to come in to get them fixed. The owner agrees and says he will fix them "free of charge" Fast forward a week later( I work and do not have the time to drive all the way there but I had a day off) I call in the morning saying I have time to come in today and asked if it was okay if I came in to get them fixed. The owner said yes and I specifically clarified it would be free of charge. The owner said YES. After arriving there the owner said he will do a fill but I cannot get chrome , or a design...the things I already payed extra for and for what was wrong w them. When I asked why he said there was nothing wrong with the nails and said it was not his problem I didn't like them. I am not one to speak up about these things , I was caught off guard that he was making this situation seem like my fault and like I was doing something wrong. In a few moments of silence as I'm trying to figure out what to do he stands up in front of the whole salon and called me a "mean girl" and proceeded to tell me to "just go" and that he's "not dealing with me" . So, mortified and upset I got up and left. (See the google reviews for this owners super professional response to the reviews of this interaction) There is much more to this horrible horrible business and specifically the owner but the images below were taken 1 DAY after I got them done. Been a repeat customer time and time again. I arrived today, I was being taken care of by one girl for about 20-25 minutes. someone walks In the door and must have requested her. I was forced to get up and go restart with someone else. instead of the manager telling that customer that there would be a little wait. Manager came over, moved me and sat down the other customer. The nail color in the end looks nothing like what I picked out, the second person doing my nails was rough, two nails were broken and they didn't repair them like they should have been.
