I'd pick 3.5 but it's obviously not an option. About 10 people ate a vast amount of food this…read moreparticular evening. The martinis were good, not overpowering, well created. The famous Juan Pedro Domecq melted in your mouth, was full of flavor and a must try. While the Tiger Prawns were very flavorful, they are a bit messy to eat as you have to peak them with your fingers and they are drenched in butter/oil and seasoning. Other items like the Patatas bravas are all pretty standard. Just remember even the Ribeye is a "tapas" sized serving.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Coming from LA I'm used to enjoying mocktails so I was very happy…read morethat this restaurant served quite literally the best tasting and fresh mocktails I had in London. The sangria was refreshing and crisp even when I was the last person dining before they closed and luckily the fruit inside the sangria was still fresh! Before coming in I was disappointed with another restaurant and although I was unaware they would be closing soon the lovely hostess seated me and I was still able to get some amazing food. Great gluten free options for it being a Spanish tapas restaurant where most of the time they cook with a lot of gluten. The Spanish Octopus truly encapsulated the flavors of Spain. The mix of different spices engrained in the chipotle aioli sauce and the purée of the potato with the fresh crisp octopus was beyond. Manchego cheese and anchovies appetizer was also great although I wish the cheese came with more jam as whatever it was made of (it had hints of apple) was also phenomenal. Friendly staff and also great fun interior design (as I always appreciate a restaurant that has a nice ambiance). Would definitely love to come back and highly recommend for anyone to visit in London.

Tendido Cero was such a standout experience in South Kensington. I dined alone on a Friday night…read morewithout a reservation (my own fault), after being turned away at a few other spots. The manager here was incredibly kind and managed to seat me between reservations anyway, which I truly appreciated. Unfortunately, I didn't quite finish my meal in time before the next party arrived, but instead of rushing me, they graciously moved me to the bar so I could enjoy my dessert. What really struck me was the atmosphere. While I was sitting there, several people popped in just to say hello to the staff, which speaks volumes about how welcoming and family-esque this place feels. Hands down some of the best wait staff I've experienced. The food was fantastic. I had the ham croquettes, white wine, and churros with chocolate and having just been in Barcelona recently, I can honestly say this was the closest I've found to authentic tapas in London. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in London. A gem of a place with heart, hospitality, and incredible food.

A glass of wine each, lemon tart, coffee. Not cheap at £142 inc tip, but that's London for you...and I do hate paying for still water! Great atmosphere, busy, not pushy bit attentive...enjoyable evening; will not leave it so long next time. Sorry about the photos, too busy enjoying the food to remember

Zuma London was honestly one of my favorite meals! We decided to come last minute on a Saturday…read morenight and were so happy they were able to accommodate us for a same-day table. We only had to wait about 20 minutes, which we really appreciated considering how busy they were. We started with the spicy edamame, which was easily some of the best spicy edamame I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly and had the perfect amount of spice and flavor. We also ordered the rock shrimp tempura. The shrimp itself was good, but I personally didn't love that it wasn't already tossed in the sauce and instead came with the sauce on the side for dipping. I definitely would have preferred it mixed together. We also tried the piri kara maguro (spicy tuna) maki roll and the ebi (prawn tempura) maki roll, and really enjoyed both. For our larger dishes, we ordered the marinated miso black cod wrapped in hoba leaf and the spicy beef tenderloin. Both were incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The black cod practically melted in your mouth, and the beef tenderloin was just as tender and delicious. I also loved that the beef tenderloin came already cut into bite-sized pieces, which made it so easy to eat with chopsticks and share. Our waiter, Oliver, was so friendly and kind and made the experience even better. I asked him about several items on the menu, and he was really helpful and offered great suggestions that we ended up loving. Between the food, atmosphere, and service, we had such an amazing experience. Despite my small preference with the rock shrimp, everything else was outstanding. Honestly, this might have been one of my favorite meals ever, and I would absolutely come back the next time I'm in London!

Great mix of young, more sophisticated older, families, and singles. Favorite spot for us was in the lounge facing the bar. We loved people watching as parties arrived. Service is attentive without being obtrusive and all those that brought anything to our table did so with a pleasant smile. The food is the star. We had lunch here, thought it was so good, we went back for dinner. We loved that it was the same menu!
