I was hoping it would have a stronger matcha taste but it was better than other matcha drinks I've had. 4.5/5 The staff was welcoming when we walked in and the area has about 6 tables or so and the aesthetics are modernized. As we waited for my bagel and drink there appeared to be a lot of regulars getting their coffee fix. I had a good experience, especially since the vegetarian bagel hit the spot just like it did the first time I had it. I was not disappointed with their bagel. The barista did correct it and even let me keep the extra drink, which I appreciated. However, I was also accidentally charged twice and had to get that adjusted. I believe there is a confusion on how to make the mocha, hence the name given in the drink. I'm are also patient in waiting, since I know the barista is working hard there solo, but this is the second time this happened, apparently the barista said that is how they were trained to make it. It was just a latte flavored drink. I really do miss how the owner made it. I will try to come again and hopefully the mocha will be corrected. The cafe is open and welcoming with different types of seating that can accommodate single diners, small groups and even medium sized groups. It was bright inside and they had the WiFi password prominently displayed, which makes this feel like a great study or remote work space and they were open a bit later. They offer coffee, tea, and snacks and we purchased a tea and coffee and sat for a while to catch up. The drinks were delicious and the team here was really helpful in selecting the drinks. I'd love to spend more time here in the future and try more of the menu.
