This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Lodi. The coffee is great no matter what you order. The only thing I will warn you about is if you want to order the coffee tasting flight, make sure you ask the barista if she knows how to make them. I've had them plenty of times but the lady time I went I was very disappointed and frustrated. I had never in the past had such a bad experience. The barista took our order and then proceeded to take other orders and make theirs before mine. I waited almost AN HOUR for two coffee tasting flights that were absolutely horrible. She then disclosed that she was new and didn't know how to make them. I asked for a refund and left. But overall with the exception of that one terrible experience, it's a great place to sit and enjoy some coffee. read more

I came upon this place while rail fanning with my son and needed a pick me up early that morning to start our day off. I wanted to try their seasonal drink which was the banana latte (correct me if I'm wrong with this), ordered it and sat outside so we can watch for trains as we wait for my drink. One of the baristas came out and told me that they ran out of banana, but I can sub it with something else. I decided on strawberry. I got my drink delivered to me outside and that was an extra service that I really liked. That was a delight and it made my day. Just moved into town. Looking for a local coffee shop to support. I stopped in here to grab a hot chocolate and I was so impressed. I was greeted and the ambiance had a relaxing, warm vibe. There are cozy chairs and couch with tables. There is a lot of natural light that just adds to the warmth. The 2 young adult baristas were so sweet and helpful. I hung out by the community board checking to see what is happening around and she brought me my drink with a smile. Overall it was a great experience and so welcoming. Cute little coffee shop in downtown Lodi ran by the community church. They have a ton of syrup offerings and a seasonal menu to keep you from having to drink the same flavor...ever. The staff is incredibly joyful and friendly which creates an inviting atmosphere. They have Disney merchandise for sale as well as their own brand of beans. They offered an avocado everything bagel that looked very appetizing but we were in our way to lunch so I had to pass but you shouldn't! The bourbon caramel drizzle had amazing flavor with just a touch of bourbon. The coffee itself was average but the ambiance more than makes up for it. Nice little jaunt from the freeway. read more

I saw a lot of positive reviews for the coffee shop in Lodi and liked that they offer flights, so I was excited to check out Inspire Coffee. It was very busy, even near closing on a weekday. Service was friendly. It's a cute place. Seating inside and a couple tables outside. Plenty of parking in the area. I picked the four drinks I wanted to try for the flight. All were tasty. I will say, a lot of the drinks are on the sweet side, which may not be everyone's preference. The whipped cream, which seemed to have a consistency of being house-made, was a nice touch (to my drinks I opted to get iced). Good coffee in a great downtown Lodi location. Service was super nice and the Cortado I ordered was fine, if not spectacular. For those wondering, a Cortado is a short cappuccino and whereas a Cap is 3:1 milk to espresso, a Cortado should be anywhere from 2:1 to 1:1 (no set standard here) so if you tend to enjoy a stronger coffee flavor, maybe give it a try. Overall, Inspire made for a great way to wake up before my morning appointments, and sitting outside on their patio on this 75 degree day was delightful. I ordered the specialty flights and chose the purple rain, Aztec, neo, and spice chai. My favorite drink was Aztec as it contained a strong cinnamon sugar flavor. All of the drinks were delicious as they were very sweet. I typically do not like coffee, but these drinks were very smooth and refreshing. All the drinks were topped with whipped cream that was a fluffy consistency with a slight buttery taste that indicated a high cream content. Service was excellent! I typically don't enjoy coffee, however the uniquely flavored drinks here are amazing and this is now my favorite coffee shop. We were in the area grabbing some pastries from an awesome Bakery a few minutes away, and felt the need for some coffee for the drive back. I looked to trusty Yelp and found Inspire coffee. We lucked out and found parking right in front. I don't believe it's metered parking, I hope it's not metered haha. The inside is a good size. There's a few tables and chairs. There's also some couches. The baristas are very friendly. They explained their hours are going to change next month, so be aware of that. I think they said they were going to close at 2p? They also mentioned that their menu is changing next month. So basically all the pictures I took today may change. We ordered a Blended Neo, an Iced Winston and an Ice Mac Mocha. All were very good. I had some business in Lodi of all places, as Credence Clearwater Revival, or just CCR once said, "Stuck in Lodi Again". Anyway, I noticed an error in some paperwork so I dropped in here for a cup of coffee to fix and review documents. They had free wifi and I had my portable wireless battery operated printer. So coffee in hand and computer and printer fired up I fixes the errors and on my way. Eventhough I didn't need the outlets there were several around. There is an outside area also that looked nice. If they had a quiche or preferably a fritada I would have ordered it but alass all they had was bagels, croissants and sugary pastries. Friendly, real, and positive. I tried the lavender blended coffee drink. I wish I remembered the name. I took it without whipped cream and was glad I did. It's the perfect blend without too much sweetness. There's a small fridge next to the coffee bar and I was immediately drawn to the homemade cinnamon bun muffin. It was flavorful and carefully crafted, and delicious! I wish I had gotten two. If you decide to enjoy your special treats and the fireplace seating area is free, take a seat. Was passing through good ol Lodi, and needed coffee bad. Was about half way through my drive home. Seeing is I grew up in Lodi I had to find a local coffee shop to support. Found this one, so close to the arch. Inside was busy! Love to see it! They have some bakery goodies, a merch section, and a place to put business cards. I ended up getting an apple pie chai... let me tell you I'm a huge coffee person. I made it a dirty chai... and it was by far my favorite chai I've ever had! I also got some avocado toast it was quite tasty as well! And since I grew up in Lodi and went to Lodi high, I had to buy some merch! I got a pull over hoodie with the arch on it. I got a medium wish I got a large but I love it. Been wearing it everyday since. Also I saw they partnered with the 180 teen center I remember when that placed opened! I went every day! It's located near downtown Lodi. I was greeted as soon as I entered. I wasn't sure what to order so they gave me time to order. I asked about a small contraption they had behind the counter and he explained to me how the manual drip coffee works which was pretty interesting. He said they pour hot water over the grounds and it seeps through which takes a little longer but it's worth the wait. As I waited, I enjoyed the ambiance and the comfy couch. The coffee shop's motto... I-N-S-P-I-R-E A family ran coffee shop in Downtown Lodi, I had a big cup of hot chocolate and it was deeeelicious! The sweetness was just right for me. I'm not a coffee drinker so hot chocolate is always my favorite hot drink. I also tried the Lavender Lemonade as suggested by the friendly barista. Oh, man... excellent classic drink! This elegant spin on lemonade was fragrant, refreshing, and the perfect balance between tart and sweet. I loved it. Inside has great atmosphere and decor... they have a couch, such a comfortable seating area! and the ambience was calming. So clean! I have not tried the pastries but my daughter took home a Birthday Cake Bar which I will try to sneak a bite later :) We met Lance, the owner. So friendly and nice. Only a coffee flight could make us drive out to Lodi! When I saw someone post on Instagram about their coffee flights, I bookmarked this shop right away. It's located in downtown and parking was super easy on a Sunday morning since it seemed like everything in the area was closed. We were welcomed immediately when we walked in and they explained they can do any kind of flight, with the seasonal drinks, chai, etc, and it can be done all hot or all iced. We chose the iced seasonal flight and it was one of the best coffee flights I've had! Each drink was full of flavor and tasted exactly as advertised. Usually I feel like coffee flights are watered down or not as good because they're making several drinks in very small portions. But these ones were all so good. I loved both pumpkin spice and pumpkin chai, normally I'm a pumpkin chai fan because pumpkin spice can be a bit much but the pumpkin spice here is nicely balanced with the coffee flavor. The maple latte was my husband's favorite and he's a picky coffee drinker. The caramel apple spice was so rich in apple flavor and I loved it with the whipped cream (so did our son!). I also liked that they come in disposable plastic cups so I could take one or two for the road. Usually flights at other places are served in glasses so I feel a bit rushed or pressured to finish it all there, but this way was great because my husband and I each took one to go and walked outside. There aren't a lot of places that offer coffee flights but it's such a fun way to try more than one drink, which was great for us since we don't come out this way often. I was even tempted to order another drink for the road but resisted - which means I've got to come back soon! It's a smaller shop but there are plenty of comfy seats and a community style table, as well as seating outside. It's a very quiet shop so it's really perfect for getting some work or studying done. On top of the delicious drinks, service was really great. There was a girl and guy both working and they were very friendly. Definitely a shop that I would frequent all the time and would want to support all the time if we lived closer! For now I'll just have to tell everyone about it and I'll be back soon! read more

My family decided to stop by Lodi to experience many cafes it offers. We decided on Inspire Coffee today. It's a charming small cafe close to the train station. You can hear the train whistle as it pass by. We were a bit disappointed that all the pastries were sold out, but the kitchen menu was still available. So, my son ordered Everything Avocado Toast and latte. I order a iced decaf americano for myself (the last serving of decaf, thank goodness) and a medium-roast pour over for my husband. Our toast, latte, and americano came quickly. The pour over took a bit longer, as expected. My iced decaf americano was delicious, floral and fruity. My son liked his toast. My husband's medium roast pour over taste more like a dark roast. The staff were friendly and brought our orders to the table for us. read more

Loved the seasonal Coffee Flight (iced only)! I subbed out the Caramel Apple Cider for a Pumpkin White Mocha and it was one of my favorites! The whip cream seems like it's made fresh in house.. very creamy! Also got a Aztec (white/chocolate mocha with cinnamon) and the espresso was so smooth!
