Personally I'm not into many things in the store. I do like a few things, but what I noticed is the unique atmosphere. The owners are very supportive of local artist and craftsman. So if you are looking for unique gifts of quality, this is the place. Of course if you are looking for general stuff, they have that too but their focus is on supporting local artists and community. In the back there is alot of space for people of any faiths to spend some quiet time or sanctuary, or host a meetings We all need that moment to escape and find our solitude so we meditate and find our peace. There is ALOT of space to walk around and just chat. The owners are knowledgable of everything they sell. You can be a noob or be an expert, you will feel a warm welcome there. Some stores are just piled full of junk and random items. This place is very organized and does not feel crowded. The owners are friendly, they smile and will joke with you. I just got back from one of the best Spiritual/New-Age/Occult bookstores that I have ever been to (and I have been to a lot all over the country). I was greeted by a British man and his wife; and they were both knowledgeable and engaging. The British bloke, who's name is Paul, and his wife (who is an American Witch named Pat) turned out to be the owners and knew the story of EVERY piece of merchandise in their store. The store it self was beautiful; colorful and full of energy. Packed with Spiritual and Occult curiosities from around the world; I spent hours just looking at all the neat things they had! They also had Tarot and Rune Readings from a beautiful young lady who identified as a Witch as well from a Coven called "Moonfire" (which holds many of their events at the store). She invited me to one of their events and I am looking forward to seeing there ritual later this month! read more

It has been long awaited for Michiana to have a genuinely nice pagan and new age store with truly well crafted wares. Lots of nice things, a really great building (so fresh and new!), and the owners are fantastic. Paul and Pat are usually in and around and such fun to talk to, and really know their stuff. Personally carved and respectfully harvested wands, keppens, etc. Made in store incense I can actually smell and breathe - normally I am allergic, but not theirs! Also, I even found Florida Water soap there, which is a rare curio. I hope these guys stick around for a long time, because I have missed having a high quality store to go to and spend time with my pals and friends with. Artes & Craft is an absolutely beautiful store with lovely and knowledgeable staff and owners! My husband and I stopped in the day after we got married and spent a good, long while just taking in all of the amazing things the store had to offer; from the large selection of specialty books, the table scattered with gorgeous stones and crystals, to the shelves of local hand-made items such as incense, wands, jewelry, and essential oils. We've since visited a few more times and are planning to attend a few of the many classes and activities hosted within the store. I'm so happy to have this unique space so close to home!
