Very grateful to have this resource! 67 year old woman here. I wish there was a way to give this 10 stars. 1. HEALTH. For my health, I drink a minimum of 1.5 liters of spring water daily. I try to drink over half of that before I get to have my first cup of coffee in the morning. I think it's the best thing I've done for myself in reducing pain and promoting significant healing. 2. HELP OTHERS!!!! I hope this review helps someone - if not you, then I hope you keep this in mind for someone you know that may benefit from this. The doctors won't be telling you what I'm going to share here..... 3. REVERSE OSMOSIS BAD! I have painful nerve damage in my face for the past 7 years. One mistake - probably the worst thing that I did to myself in trying to heal this thing - was that I was drinking reverse osmosis water. I was thinking that getting rid of all of the impurities of city water would be a good thing (and it is)... but the bad thing that I didn't realize was that I was also robbing my body of all of the minerals (especially magnesium!) by drinking filtered water! 4. NO "FILTERED". Almost all bottled water is just "filtered" and you are not (IMO) doing your immune system any favors by buying and drinking that stuff! 5. SHINGLES, TN & PHN. Trigeminal Neuralgia (or also called Post Herpetic Neuralgia) is the technical term for this outrageously painful condition. Mine was caused by getting shingles in my face without a rash (shingles can happen anywhere in your bod and does not have to present a rash!!!!).... and mine was misdiagnosed for 6 months - leaving me with a horrid damaged nerve that serves 1/2of my face. I couldn't talk for 3 years - too much pain. I've tried hard to not get on the slippery slope of taking more and more prescription drugs for this. There is no such thing as living pain free with it - so might as well let a little pain happen and then my brain has a crack at figuring out what nerve needs healing. And I've accomplished that! So my doctors are shocked that I'm doing much better every year - instead of getting worse. So please share this info if it can help someone. 6. SPRING WATER ONLY. So a year ago, I had the good fortune of tripping across a doctor talking about this on AM radio when I was doing a boring drive from Denver to Omaha to see a neurosurgeon (that was a total waste of time and money!). I started to have spring water (NEVER just "filtered" water) delivered when I lived in Denver. Here, in SLC, the only company that delivers 5 gallon jugs of spring water also charges $13 service fee every time they come by. It gets expensive - quickly. 7. JOINT PAIN To anyone with joint problems, I also found out those crinkly cheap water bottles are very, very bad for you. Do your own homework. I had pain in both knees and one hip starting to happen from me drinking about 75 bottles of the cheapo drinking water bottles from a warehouse store over the course of a little over a month when I was too broke to buy the RO filters that needed changing! Once I heard that doc on the radio, I went to drinking spring water from glass on roadtrips. Pain went away in about 2-3 weeks completely - a year ago. I plan on skiing this winter!!! I'm aware of the perchlorate issue - so I just revisit that issue every 6 months or so. But the benefits (for me) far outweigh that risk that exists from this source. I truly hope this helps someone. Only negative is finding a place to park sometimes. But saving $80-100 a month for my family is worth it. read more

Such a unique little stop! I enjoyed learning about the well and how it works to provide clean drinking water. There are signs there for you to read or you can look it up online on their website. Be sure to read what it contains so that you can safely consume it without having to worry about any health issues. The water itself just tastes like regular water (not anything distinguishable like Arrowhead bottled water). A great way to stop and refill your water bottle. People come by to fill jugs for their water supply so be ready to wait a bit if you go at a busy time. read more

The water at this artesian well is said to have multiple healing properties. Water in general, is so good for us but this is special water from the well. It is cold and so refreshing the specially in the summer months. I can't put that it has the ability to cure this or that disease. I only know for myself, when I drink this water, I noticeably feel different. I feel better. I feel healthier, clearer headed, mad more satisfied from my thirst. Sometimes I will be so thirsty it's like I can't get satisfied. Or drinking soda or other things can feel the same type of way. Well with this artesian water, it tastes so clean and pure, I have had a hard time drinking other water after discovering this I got spoiled! read more

I love coming for free fresh water here! The water tastes so good and for years I assumed it's just because I've imagined that it's just like the water in that chapter of Little House on the Prairie when Laura finally gets a drink after days and days of Pa digging but no! It's actually very good and definitely not in my head. Once it starts getting dark things get pretty weird though so if you're wanting to check it out, I'd just keep all visits to the well during the day. read more

The water here is amazing. I honestly can't remember how I stumbled on this place, but every since I tried it out there hasn't been any water that compares. First I started out with filling out a little jug of water and taking it home. When that quickly ran out I realized I needed to go bigger, so I bought another fridge fitting water dispenser. When that wasn't enough I decided to go all out and buy two of those GIANT jugs...you know, the ones that go on top of a water cooler...I bought two of those. Now when I stop for well water I take my 3 large jugs. I set one that fits under a spout, and have it dispense into the large jugs one at a time. It takes about 5 minutes depending on how fast the water is coming out (it varies depending on the season). Then I take my 12+ gallons of water back to my car and back home. It's a system that works out pretty well for me. When the water runs out I'm sad. My normal home water just tastes no where near the well water quality. It's sad to run out. Sometimes I can't find the time to get more well water until weeks later, but when I do it tastes amazing all over again. This is hands down the best water I've ever tasted. Plus it has some of the chemicals found in rocket fuel, so you get a little boost from that (it is perfectly safe to drink though) read more

This isn't much of a park but it is a spring with really good tasting water. I fill up five gallon buckets with a piece of tubing, then I usr the water to brew beer with. As this is a park, don't be shocked to find homeless people sleeping I the grass. read more

Better late than never! I am so glad to have heard about this park on the news. There was just one other person there filling up small bottles, so we had very little wait time in filling up our few jugs. I found the water clean and refreshing, plus I understand it likely has less deuterium, which could have additional health benefits. read more

I like this little park. It is not often that you find an artesian well in the middle of a city- and one that you can fill your own water bottles for free! I sometimes stop here on my way back from Liberty Park to fill my water bottles. The water has a pleasant mineral taste and is fairly cool in temperature. I was a bit concerned about the water quality but Salt Lake City maintains a water quality report on the park's website so you know what you're getting. read more

Super random but really great water. I don't home brew myself but I have friends who do and swear this is the best water to use. My reason for 3 stars is that it gets pretty sketchy here at night, so be warned. There always seems to be a drug deal of some sort going on, or hobos fighting it out. I live right across the street so I get to see it all. So, in summary ... 5 star water, 3 star everything else. read more
