After we agreed to do the work, they did what they said they would do including meeting the start/end time frames. The work included a lot of residential concrete diewalk/walkway replacement work. Price was pretty reasonable. Work progress was very efficient and in the end performed well. Debris was properly removed and the area returned back to normal except with new concrete. Apparently his workers laid a tarp over the concrete and the concrete took on the color and patters of the tarp. We have very reasonable and understanding while waiting for them to correct the issue. Meanwhile I keep having to reach out to the owner who decided not to return calls or fix the issue. So we now are seeking legal action and reporting to the better business bureau.

My experience with Tony of Horse GC LLC, also known as Chimney Roofs, was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a contractor. Tony performed work at my property despite a Stop Work Order/permit issue, and I was ultimately left dealing with three violations and approximately $17,000 in violations and related costs associated with my house. To this day, Tony refuses to pay or take responsibility for these costs, leaving me, the homeowner, to deal with the consequences. He also left a substantial amount of construction garbage and debris at my property. Throughout the entire process, I felt that his priority was simply completing the job rather than protecting the homeowner or making sure the work was properly permitted and compliant. During an inspection, I also witnessed conduct by Tony toward the inspectors that I found extremely inappropriate, including what appeared to me to be an attempt to improperly influence them. I have never dealt with a contractor who made me feel so unsupported as a homeowner. A professional contractor should follow the rules, comply with Stop Work Orders, obtain and maintain the proper permits, communicate honestly, clean up after the job, and stand behind his work. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Tony. I would never hire Tony or this company again. I strongly recommend that homeowners do their research, verify permits and licensing, and investigate the company carefully before signing a contract.
