We…read morehad taken our girls there prior to covid and that ownership unfortunately sold to a new owner and to put it simply she is not up to task. There was specific incident that occurred in a class that was handled the wrong way. The adult instructor allowed and indicated to the only two girls "one being my daughter and the other a friend" in the class that they did not have to wear a mask which I am actually fine with considering it is only two girls and an instructor in a large studio. The issue is that the owner decided give a little talk to the children who were instructed by the dance teacher that removal of the mask is okay. So without finding out about whether or not the students decided to not wear a mask or were told not to by the adult she just assumed they took it upon themselves to remove the masks. The owner then decided to lecture me at pick up time about the mask policy. I had one simple question as to who allowed them to remove the mask and the owner only responded with "it is the studio's policy to wear masks in class," which is fine but than why are instructors telling kids to take the mask off if they want? Again, I could care less about the mask on or off. More concerned about the lack of management understanding a situation and placing blame on an 8 and 9 year old. And the icing on the cake is to than come out and lecture the parent. The other issue that day is that my daughter had come in the wrong attire "gray stretch pants instead of black and her hair was not tied up as required." My daughter takes some of the blame if not all because she should know and was told as such by me after the fact. As her dad I was not on the up and up about the strict dance gallery attire I assumed she would know and follow rules. The same day incident was handled again oddly by ownership sending a stern email to Parents in addition to a talking to after class. Quiet frankly the studio is not the same and enrollment is very weak due to obvious reasons. We had been charged 1100 dollars on Nov 22nd 2021 and this took place Nov 30th one week later. I told the owner that day my daughters are no longer coming here and I want a refund. Keep in mind the 1100 dollar charge is for December through feb 2022. So maybe this class counted towards 1100 dollar charge . If so one class used out of 1100 dollars. Dance gallery is refusing to give a refund. The owner of the studio is basically only concerned about money and I want people to be aware of that fact before you enroll your child or children like We had done. We tried to give this dance studio a chance considering the long standing relationship we had prior to the new owner but she is just not a good person and focused only on her bottom line. If I could give no stars I would. If some had paid in full for services not rendered yet and wanted a refund because they decided it was not the right fit at my business- guess what I do the right thing and refund over a thousand dollar to the client. The fact is this owner is desperate for money or just greedy.

This place is what dancing should be all about. They teach little girls from age 3 up to adults. Miss Stephanie, the studio's Director, is a professionally trained dancer with a gift for teaching and encouraging. She's simply wonderful. The studio is brand new, with real floating wood dance floors, and classes are small enough to allow for individualized mentoring. We selected them at the recommendation of our wedding planner who had numerous positive experiences with them in the past, and right from the beginning we were grateful for our pick. Adam worked with us ahead of time to make sure that the they were in lockstep with our vision. The day of, they showed up early, were professional, and truly set the mood with their beautiful performances (lots of Beatles!). Two showers and two restroom with amenities. There is parking at the back of the gym but it is first come first serve basis! Coaches and employees: most of the coaches that I attended so far are great. They motivate me and guide me through the workouts. Front desk were also nice and approachable. There is just one instance yesterday when I had my class. I came early and assigned myself for floor and number 5. I saw the list and it was just me on the list since I came early. I went inside the class sat on the rower number 5 and did my rowing. There is a woman not sure if she is the manager telling me "Mark, you are not there" I said "excuse me?" She said "you are Mark right? You are not there you are number 6" I politely said "oh ok I am sorry". I sat down on the rower number 6. And as soon as I did my rower a woman sat down on number 5 and her boyfriend on number 4. Now I know why she moved me. I certainly accepts if they will ask me to move, I am okay with it but telling me that I am on the wrong sit when in the first place you switch me is not right. It just turn me off and didn't enjoy yesterday's class. Class: the class in each sessions are different. I personally love 3G classes than 2G. The classes are very difficult but I always try to do it because I want to get my money's worth. Price: currently i'm paying $129 for 8 classes a month. For me it is not bad. I recommend orangetheory. Maybe I will try other locations.

We started off the day with the power going out. There was uncertainty about what was going on with our wedding, but of course the show must go on. Luckily they had a battery operated sound system that allowed us to be able to speak on the mics during the ceremony. It saved the ceremony, for sure. The power went on right after we kissed (awww). The show was fantastic after that. They kept everyone upbeat. They were funny, and great, and I loved every minute of it. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat. The way they handled disaster was amazing. Jon kept my husband (!!) on the positive side during panic. Everybody raved about how great they were and how much fun they had. I knew that they would be awesome, but their help with this crazy situation helped to save our wedding. Can't wait to attend more shows! Eventually we'll solve it, I promise!

Tonights was out in Patchogue, LI at a bar restaurant called OFF KEY TIKKI. The food though they tried, wasn't good. I believe one of the meat dishes might have been bad and I stuck with the turkey. When you go to these events, the food is usually standardly basic and its the show you are really there for. Bar drinks and desserts were not incorporated in the 60. dollar plus added gratuity to the total, paid before entering. This murder mystery was a bit uhh quirky. One note is to, be there on time. I was under the impression that it was food from 7:30 - 8:00 pm and then the performance murder mystery. Just at 8:00 I walked in and already had missed the gun shooting of the lead victim. The young lady playing the cop, went right along in roll and questioned me as to why I was late and where I was a short time ago. The police officer she was portraying had clothing not up to snuff with black sneakers. The overall acting could have used tweaking. But as it is for entertainment, I went along and got into it asking people around me all kinds of questions. There was a scene of someones head but it was not made clear to the audience quite how that fit in. However Jon Avner artistic director and founder of the company, who writes and customizes the stories to fit the request and need of the people who higher his company, actually was pretty funny and acted well in the part with the interaction of the audience participants. Some of them were pretty funny too. Near the end of the performance the audience and suspects are given a paper form to fill out along with a pencil that reads Murder? 1-888 shoot em and asking to write, basically, Who done it and why. Then the chosen best audience actors get a few gifts and the person who comes closest to the correct-who done it gets a shirt and some other goodies, this time including some handcuffs. Again, all in good fun. Ok, so I was the one who logically wrote that it was the Lieutenant. It wasn't. But I choose not to say more to prevent any spoiler alert. As for the place, while the people there were nice and it is a local bar and not one I would likely frequent, 3 stars is about it for their rating.

Alexis, I have been accepted into the summer programs of Washington School of Ballet and Ballet West Academy; I have attended the summer intensives of notable schools such as Paris Opera Ballet School, Bolshoi Ballet Academy NYC, School of American Ballet Theatre, and Juilliard Dance -- where I was allocated at the highest levels.
