As a working parent, it's incredibly helpful, but what really stands out is how wonderful the teachers are with the kids (shout out to Mrs. Cindy and Mrs. Isola). They create such a positive environment that it's sometimes hard to get my daughter to leave at pickup! However, in some situations, I wish the dean's office had been more supportive instead of gaslighting students who were facing vulnerable circumstances. Additionally, I observed that the school seemed to be more favorable toward Caucasian students compared to students of color, particularly in academic settings. For example, Caucasian students often received A+ grades, while students of color frequently ended up with B+ or lower, which I find highly unfair. All students of color deserve the same opportunity for excellent grades and education as their Caucasian peers. I hope that systemic injustices in our education system can be addressed.

The teachers are absolutely incredible - seasoned, knowledgeable, kind, and, most importantly, they genuinely care about the children. You can feel how invested they are in their students, not just academically, but in helping them grow into confident, compassionate, and well-rounded people. The SFC community is really special. It is inclusive, supportive, kind, and caring, and people have been beyond welcoming this year given we are a new family. There is a true sense of community here, and it is clear that families, teachers, and staff all share a genuine commitment to the children and to one another. The kids are truly kind to each other - it shows that this community values kindness above anything else. Our son has been at Saint Frances Cabrini for four years, and we've loved it. The campus is gated and feels super safe, which is such a relief as a parent of an elementary school student. The teachers have all been wonderful, caring, patient, and really dedicated. Our son has grown so much here, both academically and socially, and he's made amazing friends. The parent community has really stepped up too! Everyone's so involved and supportive. The recent Cabrini Carnival was a huge success and such a fun event--it reminded us that this school isn't just great for the kids, but for the whole family. I've called and called to get updates on it and they have yet to return my call. The district and school have a high tolerance on bullying. To a point where they allowed one student to bully multiple students with no repercussion. My son had to have emergency surgery to his arm and yet the district is still taking this lightly. I truly wish this on no one. What my son and I have endured these couple of months have been traumatic for the both of use. No child should suffer or have too miss out on summer fun due to the lack of corrective action from school/school district...

The club has many experienced members who mentor and guide the newer members to become proficient in public speaking. Club members help each other become strong leaders by being encouraging and supportive. The club has been a President's Distinguished club (the highest achievement possible for a club) year after year for the past 20 years. I would highly recommend this club to anyone looking to hone their public speaking and leadership skills in a safe and comfortable environment.

To quote one lucky student," My friends tell me they dread spending time with their college counselors. Whenever I'm with Darcy, I feel about 10 feet tall ! " I have passed her name along countless times to grateful families thrilled with her wonderful approach and her spectacular results. Impressive. But what are her credentials ? Darcy is a double Stanford alumna (Undergrad: English Literature; Grad school: Adolescent Psychology). After graduating from Stanford, she spent 12 years working as the Associate Director of Stanford Admissions. For the past 14 years, Darcy has worked as a private college counselor. Her rates are surprisingly reasonable. She is also the nicest person I know. The downside is there's just one Darcy Prime. She can only take so many students each year, so contact her sooner than later. Whether it's college counselors or people in general, there's nobody better.
