We have a pretty small yard and we needed to get turf put in for our puppy. We were able to get a quote pretty quickly and work was done less than a week later. These guys did an amazing job and our yard looks fantastic. Our little pup is so happy with his new space and so are we. Other quotes we received were almost twice as much as Artificial Turf by Fenix and some places weren't interested in our small project.

We are so very pleased with our backyard corner upgrade! The company arrived on time and completed the job during the predicted timeframe. We received exactly what we were looking for to improve this corner of our yard. The price was half the cost of a big box store and we are very satisfied with the completed project and highly recommend Fenix to make your vision into a reality!

If you're on the fence about artificial turf just do it. We went back and forth for a while, but I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we've made. We had a dog run area that was always muddy and impossible to keep up. Grass wouldn't grow because of the shade, and it constantly looked terrible. Our dogs tracked mud and dirt into the house, and we were tired of dealing with it. We chose Artificial Turf by Fenix for the turf installation, and they absolutely delivered. The transformation is incredible, the area looks clean, green, and beautiful, and the dogs love it. No more mud, no more mess. Bon and his crew worked so hard over two full days to get everything perfect. They went above and beyond, and their attention to detail really shows. I've never seen a team put in that kind of effort, and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you're thinking about turf, stop thinking and go for it. I called these guys last min while in town to help my mom. The owner went out of his way to come give me an estimate before I had to leave. I had already done a lot of research and got 2 other estimates so I felt like I would know if they were just trying to upsell me. What I found was that he was totally honest and convinced me to pay less and also offered to help remove a tree. The other companies either said to leave the dying tree or have a pro company do it before they start. I didn't want the hassle and he included removing it and another small bush for only $300 with the same crew and they would bring the machines in to do that. Then I really need it to be done on a specific day when I was back to help my mom because she was uncomfortable with being there and not knowing what was going on. Fenix did everything they could to push aside a major client in order to make it work for little old us. The explanation of the type of grass shape was explained very well. The other places wanted to charge me for the waste. Fenix didn't and they even let me keep the extras because the shape of my yard made it susceptible to waste. Was able to use the extra waste in a small enclosed patio and it looks like a bonus. These guys almost got it done in 1 day! The only reason they didn't was cuz a couple guys got sick so they were short handed and also because the rock company screwed up and arrived 2 hours late. But still, they were almost done and came back the next morning and finished in about 1 hour before I had to leave. We showed our neighbors and they love it. I may very well use them for my house as well when it comes time to do a remodel in the yard.

We recently made the decision to intall artificial turf in our back yard. Having two large dogs we were oonstantly re-seeding to patch up the brown spots. In our research we selected Artifical Turf by Fenix and were delighted at the professional job they did. We had about 1000 square feet of grass to replace. The crew showed up on time as planned and were ready to layout the grass carpet by mid afternoon. The completed the job early afternoon the next day. To facilitate the excavation that is necessary the had to disassemble my back gate to get access with their excavator. When they were finished the gate was re-installed better than when it was originally built. The whole experience was outstanding. The end result now is a beautiful lawn that looks well manicurred all the times, and the dogs love it.

Best decision we made in our yard!! This review is bit overdue, as of this month our putting green was installed 1 year ago and we could not love it more! It is used multiple times a day and we have not had single issue with anything. My husband is a golfer and also works from home most of the time so it's the perfect break to step away from your desk for a bit. It also looks beautiful and was the perfect finish to our backyard construction. We worked with Adam last year who was so informative and knew exactly what we wanted. He offered suggestions on shape and size for the space we had and it could not have turned out better. The construction crew arrived on time and delivered a beautiful perfectly constructed product. We were actually quite surprised at the tedious work that went into installing a putting green. There is also a perfect slope so that all 3 holes are a bit different and challenging. Great company to work with that delivers a high-quality product at a fair price!! Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Got 3 quotes, theirs came lower even though they quoted me about 12 feet more of turf than the other 2 companies. I brought that up to whoever picked up the phone and she said they didn't revised their quotes regardless of other companies measurements; 'it is what it is'. I accepted, not like I had an option. Installer showed up, did the work, and left. And left the leftover turf, which was sizeable, just folded up in my yard. About 10 days after, I noticed that along the block retaining wall there were gaps where the block sit together. These triangular gaps were initially covered with turf, but towards the end of the wall they just cut a straight line. I emailed them with pictures as to ask why the discrepancy on the work, but got no response after 2 weeks. I called and asked the same person to look at the email, as it explained better what I was trying to tell her. She said she would and would get back to me. Surprise, she did not. Instead the foreman call and said he saw the email but wasn't sure why it had been done this way. He thought maybe there was some concrete underneath that prevent them from getting that area done. Factchecked: There is no concrete underneath. He said he would talk to his crew, to save his number and call him directly, not the office, and he'd have an answer. I haven't called because it is in their best interest to follow up with the client. Now I am not only dissatisfied for how shoddy it looks, but also at the crap costumer service. And here I am writing my review. it is not 5 stars as they suggest on their propaganda, but hey- I am still expecting the gift card they bribe you with to do so. Ok, on to Yelp. ************************************************************** Reply to owner: Yes, you don't have to match competitor's price or measurements, but whatever you measure you ought to install. You are so adamant about price and measurements but your installers failed at doing precisely that. What you foreman explain on the phone, AFTER the fact, was that he wasn't sure and that he had to talk to the workers and he'd let me know. After that he never called. I don't think you understand what is going on on the work site. I went on and pulled your ill-installed turf to show that even if there is a block underneath as you try to use as a justification, you can STILL cut and tuck turf in that area, without nails- I checked. Just look at the picture I posted. The simply failed at doing their job and you are just trying to justify them without knowing what happened. And the only time your company reached out was when the foreman called to make excuses. That is one time, not multiple. Thanks.

This is the third time we have used this company to install artificial turf. Completely amazing experience. We had repeated problems with reliable gardeners, watering in hot weather, fertilizing with our dogs on the lawn, pests, just overall nightmare with lawn. We have fired our gardener, reduced our water bill, reduced pests in our yard, so the investment was highly recommended. The company is so professional to deal with. From the estimator through to the scheduling, and the workmen who come to install. Very high-quality group of individuals who go above and beyond when the job is done to clean up and make the yard look better than when they arrived. I can't wait to use them on our next turf job at a rental property. Talk is cheap, though! ha ha! Just look at our beautiful yard! Yay! Happy Summer!

I now have a fantastic looking lawn, thanks to Fenix! I contacted several contractors and traveled to several, local locations to examine their product and work. Fenix, by far, impressed me the most. I contacted the company and they sent an estimator out the following day. Amazingly, their bid was the lowest of the seven (7) contractors I contacted. They completed the work in less than two days. I give no stars because of the no show and the mistake the representative made assuming we where some rude customer that texted him. The representative Adam did not call to make sure or even check his messages to make sure he had the right customer. He assumed we where the rude customer and decided to be a no show. Very upsetting. Trying to put our house together and rent it. We got this information from another person. I will be sharing this experience with them as well. Not happy with first impression of company. No shows are not reliable. And he's attitude after was not in way trying to fix it. We have all his text messages going to him and from him. If the company doesn't believe. Thumbs down oh it won't let me give no stars in order to leave a review. Update same day 3-17-2022 Representative Adam made effort to appease the situation and did message back and made effort to fix the misunderstanding and came to give free estimate. My experience with this company was great from start to finish. Kimberly in the office kept me informed throughout the job. Adam who came out to give the estimate, arrived on time, showed me all of the available products for my project, and answered all of my questions. He is very laid back, not the pushy salesman type. After calling around several places to get a quote on artificial turf, this was the only shop that was willing to work with me on their pricing without my contractor present. When I walked in, Heather came out of her office right away to help me. Before I could ask a question, she told me that they were offering an extra 5% off during December on everything they had in stock. I told her my contractor referred me and was told able to get the contractor price as long as I could provide my contractor's info in addition to the 5% off for December. Anyways, I asked dozens of questions about the variety of different turf they have in stock and about the installation process. She was very patient with me and answered every question she could. There were a few she didn't know, so she asked one of the installers to ensure she gave me the correct information. Overall I'm very satisfied with their customer service and the turf I chose. She didn't try to upsell me or try to get me to buy the more expensive turf either. read more

This is a very high quality outfit! Highly recommended! My experience has been awesome from the estimate by Adam, outstanding paperwork processing by Kimberly, the premium turf product, and the efficient, expert installation team. The period from decision to installation was remarkably fast, under 2 weeks, despite the requirement of Sun City Lincoln Hills Homeowners Association (ARC) approval which Kimberly took care of for me. Price was not the lowest bid of many but fair and well within the ballpark. Having seen many fake looking artificial turf lawns it seems we fretted unnecessarily over pulling out our natural sod as the final appearance by Fenix is fantastic. We're especially delighted with the recommendation to remove bender board from around the yard in favor of a natural border. The new look draws in your eye to the yard and looks beautiful. read more

I spoke with Paul prior to you responding to the review and he offered to reimburse me for couplers. Unfortunately, that's kind of missing the boat and honestly, is a dismissive resolution. The couplers costs me $2. It's the hours of time I've spent trying to make everything work to get water and continually finding main drip line glued together that is leaking or bursting apart. I'm off to Lowe's again today to replace the main line since there are 3 more glued areas I've found that are leaking and/or have woken me up in the middle of the night that have busted. Bottom line, it's not the $2 here and there that I've spent. It's that that quality of work continues to be a disappointment and something I have spent 10+ hours since March to fix that should have been done right the first (and second) time. read more

Turf is spendy, so you want to make sure it's done right and is a good value. When I first got a quote, I can tell this company has "straight shooters" and gets to the point with no extra sales tactics. They had the lower quote as well compared to the big stores. They came on time, got the job done quick, and laid really clean cuts. They even cut into each curve of my retaining wall and around my pond. Our backyard went from dirt and weeds to this. VERY impressed by this company! I asked for some bids via Yelp messaging and Lee got back to me right away. He came out to our home in Rocklin a few days later, measured, and gave us a bid for a small area in our backyard. After looking over the samples he had with him and going over the pricing, we committed to them. Price was very reasonable. They finished up the job a couple of weeks later and it turned out a lot better than I thought it would and I have high expectations! His crew of 4 came out, on time, and were done with the work in about 4-5 hours. They were professional, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves when they were done. The turf looks AMAZING! It's really changed the look of our backyard. Now I don't have to mow or water anymore and it will look perfect year round. I'm very impressed at how real the grass looks. You honestly can't tell from just looking at it. Highly recommend this company and have already sent them a referral. Thank you very much! read more

Awesome customer service! They explained everything clearly and never felt like we were being upsold. Also, they were very responsive and the crew worked through a little rain to get our job done in one day. The crew was also very helpful in explaining the process and answering any questions. Compared to other companies, Fenix is also very reasonably priced. The other quotes we received had significantly higher minimums and felt like a rip-off for our small yard (roughly 300 square feet). I have a small strip of dirt around my yard I wanted to do something with. It was hard to find anyone willing to take the time to do it. Definitely a no pressure quote. Adam was able to answer all my questions and made recommendations based on my needs, and never tried to upgrade me. Kimberly was also great about answering my questions about payment and getting me all the information I need to care for my turf, etc. As the weather has been unpredictable, it did rain a bit the morning of the install, but the crew made it work and installed my new turf. I have to give a shot out to the crew as they were jovial and legitimately singing in the rain. It kept my entire household smiling the entire time, which is much needed this days. As the current state of the world requires us to stay home, I am happy I got this installed because now the dogs and I can enjoy a bit of color! read more

I was very pleased with this company, the sales man, the installers and the overall work they did. I had asked them to do a few extra things in my yard that I couldn't do myself, sprinklers I couldn't repair, they took care of all of it, even moved a large boulder. My backyard was very small with a small patch of grass that I could not get to grow because it was so shady out back. I was surprised to see how many steps are involved installing the turf. Glad I didn't hire a handyman. read more

We could not be happier with the product and service we received from Artificial Turf by Fenix. They were on top of communication every step of the way, and ensured we were able to coordinate with other contractors and meet deadlines. The product is great and our estimator did not try to make any unnecessary upsells. You pay for the sq. footage you use, and in our case with having an atypical shape, this saved us money over other quotes who make you pay for whatever you use off the roll regardless of if you have rounded edges. After many consults with various companies in the Sacramento area, we knew that Artificial Turf by Fenix was the right choice. Adam was very patient with all of my questions/concerns and took his time to answer them thoroughly. He had to come back for a second quote and couldn't have been more pleasant. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his product which was important to us. He had the best samples, best product and was upfront and honest. We replaced 450 Sq. feet of soggy, dog destroyed grass with turf recently and could not be happier. Not only does the turf look natural, it is soft, cool to touch, and so easy to maintain. The install team was on time and super efficient, with impeccable attention to detail. Our turf edges up against a retaining wall with curved cement blocks and they tucked & secured the turf around each and every little nook and curve. We hadn't discussed it, so I was super pleased to discover that little detail. You can't see any of seams, as they did a zig-zag seam, which was something I was worried about ahead of time. The team spent a LOT of time on preparing the spot, so much so that they were literally grinding up their own rock (??) material on my driveway. Adam, our sales guy, shared tips on care and cleaning from his own experience with his big dogs. This is definitely a "get what you pay for" type of project, and we are thrilled with our splurge. read more

We had both our front yard and back yard replaced with artificial turf by Fenix. They sent two teams to do this and they finished in 1 day. Wow! They were so professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They knew exactly how to cut off the sprinkler system to the new turf. They took the time to answer every one of our questions and concerns. One of the best experiences I have ever had with a company doing work at my home. I set up my appointment for a quote at Home Depot. Adam was able to get out to my house within days to do my quote, and I was able to immediately schedule the install for my artificial turf. The true blessing was having Zach and his crew of Jeremy, Orlando, and Dylan come out to my home for the install. They arrived on time, were extremely friendly and professional, and took the time to explain the install process and maintenance tips. The whole crew was very hard working and they all worked together as a single unit. Once they were finished, the whole crew took the time to watch my 93 pound chocolate lab and my 95 pound Rot/Shepherd test it out by playing on their new beautiful turf. Last but definitely not least, the crew left the front and back of my home cleaner than they found it upon arrival. We have enjoyed our new Artificial Turf by Fenix the past 4 weeks and look forward to many more years. Our artificial grass installation started early 2/13/2020 and was completed by 1:00 pm on Valentines Day. What an amazing Valentines Gift to ourselves and our two small dogs. From start to finish: the quote from Adam with immediate answers to follow up questions, to finalizing the quote and scheduling the job with Kimberly (within 3 days), to the arrival of the installation crew on Thursday morning, this home improvement project was seamless. He was pleasant, very knowledgeable on the turf and suggested a slight change to my original plan. I am so glad I listened to him as it really made a difference! This is a great company! I had a fairly technical turf job done in the backyard. Turf by Fenix was the lowest bid among 3 estimates and had a great selection of turf samples to choose from. They scheduled my job within a week or so and the crew was prompt, worked hard, and did an amazing job cleaning up. That was about a year ago. But what really makes this a great company, is how easy and quick it was when I called them recently to come repair some loose areas that had settled. Some of the base had settled around my underground pool plumbing with all the rain we had this past winter. Once I sent them pictures, they had a crew come out the next day for regrading, tamping and reinstallation. Their workmanship is amazing like the first install, and they honor their installation guarantee. Need I say more? This is a great company and I highly recommend for artificial turf jobs! read more

We started with what was to be a straight forward driveway replacement. Old cracked/cast in place cement being replaced with pavers. Travis recommended lights and we agreed that was worthwhile based on the scope of what was being done, and this being something we will look at every day, multiple times per day. The pavers were also going to be extended to the front door replacing an additional old sidewalk. We didn't want the least expensive contractor. We wanted someone that was reasonably priced, who would stand behind their work. Bella Rosa is that company. The project turned out better than expected. The lights are icing on the cake. The pavers look phenomenal. All that said, there were a few hiccups along the way. Miscommunications on Bella Rosa's side related to what was discussed initially, and when the crew came out for installation. However, Travis always quick to reply, prompt to meet to work through the details and we were very satisfied. As the front was nearing completion we were so confident in Travis's team, Freddy was the foreman on our project, we added on additional things to the original scope. Including, redoing a flagstone walkway, cleaning out a side yard area, removing a layer of soil, adding stabilized decomposed granite, putting in lights along a back fence line. We can't recommend Bella Rosa highly enough. Travis and his team do very good work. And, when things come up, which is normal in construction, they will stand by their work and resolve any unexpected things. These are projects we could've DIY'd, but the result would not have looked as good, and would've required many months to complete.

From the very first contact with Adam, to the completed installation with team Esteban, this company has been outstanding! Adam arrived on time to give me a quote and take measurements. He was so easy to speak with and willingly shared information. He seemed like he was very honest and really enjoyed his job. As a senior citizen and a woman, I really appreciated the fact that I felt comfortable asking questions, and Adam came through as a very grounded, knowledgeable, honest, and patient person. The quote given was not the lowest, but, it was quite reasonable. After getting a couple of quotes, I realized that Artificial Turf by Fenix had given me a straight forward quote with no up selling, sub-contractors, additional padding, or fees. But, since they were the first company that I called, I had to do my due diligence and get a couple other quotes. After comparing everything, this company undoubtedly shined through with flying colors. They are worth every penny, and more. I contacted the main office and spoke with Kimberly. She was super helpful in scheduling the installation, coordination of the process, and getting the contract over to me. Additionally, she seems like a super nice person with a willingness to assist you in any way, which is a huge plus in any business. The response time to any issues or questions that came up was pretty fast, between a few minutes to half an hour. I know that things can get pretty hectic in the control tower sometimes, but Kimberly always seemed to have a smile in her voice and left me feeling like I was in the best hands possible. The day before the installation, I received a call from Paul verifying that they would be coming in the morning between 7:30 and 8:00 am. They arrived on time and ready to go, but I had a problem with a company that was doing some work for PG&E on our street. I had already called PG&E and Sac. Co. ahead of time to verify that I could proceed with the installation and cleared it with them. The foreman of that company was telling the lead tech, Esteban, that they couldn't do the installation, because they had permits to work on the street. I went out to tell him that I had assurances from the PG&E office that they didn't see any issues with proceeding with the installation, but he had agreed to allow us to dump the sand in our driveway and move the truck and trailer to the sidewalk area. Despite the initial contact with the foreman, Esteban was so very respectful and courteous to both parties. He politely, and willingly, offered to return another day without hesitation, if necessary, which I appreciated. He is such a good person. But, luckily, that was necessary. Team Esteban started working right away. I was amazed at how this team of great guys worked together so seamlessly. I really didn't mean to sit and watch them, because I was pretty busy that day, but they were just amazing to watch in action. I love home improvement shows, and I felt like I was watching one unfold in my front yard. The neighbors and the people working on the street were also fascinated by their process. There were several layers to the installation, and they perfected their work after each layer. Each team member focused on the smallest of details. Even the driveway was cleared of the unused sand, and they left everything better than when they arrived. One of the team members took some of my decorative rocks and placed them around the bottom of a tree in the middle of the grass. It was a small touch of creativity and was so cute. I really appreciated their great work ethics, skills, and attention to details that they brought to the job. The results speak for themselves. The grass looks amazing! From viewing the samples that I selected, I didn't expect it to be this beautiful. It looks even better than I had imagined, and, not to mention, no more watering and lawn maintenance. A different company placed artificial turf in my backyard and it was a huge disappointment for how much money it cost!!! The grass looks so fake, it is lumpy, and the seams are embarrassing. Not only did it cost WAY too much and not look good at all, but the workers took a couple weeks to finish the job and I swear took 20 minute breaks every 20 minutes. So I decided to do my own research this time, instead of trusting my builder. Adam with Artificial turn by Fenix came over the same day he called me to make an appt. He brought several samples, explained the differences and gave me his opinions. He did all his measuring and estimate that same day! Adam knew the final price was still more than I wanted. A couple hours later he called me back personally, and updated me on the "fall sale" that was about to start. He guaranteed me the new price that was $2,000 less and we got scheduled! My new turf is in place now and IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!! The entire installation was in one day. Paul the project manager was very helpful and patient with the forms I filled out and educating me on care instructions. The whole process was very impressive. This artificial turf is still so much more expensive than real sod but at least my front yard is so beautiful and real looking that I don't cringe every time I see it and think about the price! Oh, and by the way, Fenix does an "S" curve seam and you can't find the seam even if you tried! Beautiful! read more

In addition, Fenix was the only company who could do the artificial turf installation in 2 days. (The other bidding companies said they would complete the installation in 5-7 days.) Adam, Paul, & Jose's "customer service" was outstanding. Also, their installation crew came on time & were very courteous and professional. When the installation was completed, I could not believe how perfect the artificial lawn looked. It exceeded my expectations. Also, my father-in-law's neighbors complemented him on his artificial lawn. (One of the neighbors even took pictures of the lawn.) Fenix Turf did an amazing job from the initial contact to finish and clean up. It is rare to find a company or contractor that will take you through the process step-by-step and when they implement confirm each phase is completed to your satisfaction. There were multiple follow up calls initiated by Fenix prior to the install. On the day of the install I was asked to walk them through the project. There were at least two phases during the install that they asked me to give them feedback and clarification before proceeding any further. After the install was completed they answered my questions and left a clean work area. Their entire team was professional, polite, knowledgeable, and skilled at what they do. We just had our front yard re-landscaped with artificial turf installed by Artificial Turf by Fenix, Inc (Rocklin, CA). It looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The customer service was great from all involved in the job from start to finish. Adam did a very thorough estimate, answering all of our product and installation questions. Our project had many areas that required lots of hands-on detail work. Paul and his crew took great pride in the work that they were doing and it shows!! Great experience working with this Artificial Turf By Fenix! They were quick to respond to my request for an estimate for my backyard and had someone out to look at my yard in less than a week. Their sales rep, Adam was knowledgeable and friendly and available to answer all of our questions even after he had left our home. I couldn't be happier about my experience with Fenix. From my first phone call with Adam to the cleanup with the crew. I got three quotes for this project and Fenix was half the others on price, scheduling, and completion time. All of this meant that I would pay a better price than I ever expected, get the project scheduled, amazingly quick, and get the whole job done within 6 hours! Paul Sandoval was our contact person with Fenix, and we couldn't be more pleased. His expertise helped us refine our design, and the result is our lovely "nest" of turf surrounding our spa and little reading nook. The turf is beautiful and plush like fine carpet. We interviewed a few different companies to get our yard done. Adam with Fenix sold us on his company and we are glad we made that choice. He wasn't the cheapest quote but had some of the best reviews. We got approximately 2,200 sq ft done on our upper and lower yards. The first day I believe we had two crews show up and they got busy. Everyone worked well together and the forman Bon Gomez was on top of the project every step of the way. I recently hired Artificial Turf by Fenix to refurbish my old artificial turf putting green. Their estimator, Adam was very knowledgeable and worked with me on price. Their crew completed the job on 3/31, redoing the base of the green. and installing new putting green artificial grass. Paul and his crew go the extra mile, without taking shortcuts, to do very high-quality work. We just got our turf installation completed yesterday and my wife and I (And our dogs) couldn't be happier!! our project took a day and a half because of all of the excavation and dirt removal required to level the ground. I was beyond impressed with the level of detail they took in the leveling and surface preparation before installing the turf!!
