Previously had a great experience getting my first tattoo. vibes were great and the artists were cool. My more recent visit went pretty much the same but the problems came with the artist Jaime. I went in and spontaneously decided to get a tattoo that turns out was only arms and legs, not a problem i was willing to take the L and get it on my arm since i wanted it on my body but the artist offered to get it done for the same price and where i wanted it on Sunday since he was free as long as I DM'd him as i had waited the 3 hours and honestly there was no indication that it was in a specific location in which i could get the tattoo. My issue starts with the artist who again offered this service, ignoring my DM entirely despite being active on his socials and instead opting to follow and stalk my girlfriend who was never helped by him. It just lacks professionalism and is extremely weird and disrespectful to a paying customer. if you pull up with your girl be aware of this weird behavior. other than that helping staff and other artists are great! read more

I went into artillery ink for friday the 13th and waited at least 6 hours to get a tattoo done by jaime. The wait time I'm okay with as I understand its inevitable for friday the 13th, but the service I got from the artist after waiting so long, I'm not. Immediately upon meeting him I could tell he was tired, which again I can understand because I'm sure all of the artists had had a long day at that point. That being said, regardless of how you feel there needs to be maintained professionalism, which jaime failed to do. When showing him where I wanted the tattoo to be placed with the stencil, he placed it a considerable distance away from where I had showed him initially which showed me he wasn't really paying attention. After adjusting it a couple of more times, he got very clearly frustrated and 1. told me he thought it looked fine where it was when I wanted to adjust it and 2. told me I can come back the following Sunday, giving me the impression he was just trying to get it over with and get me out of there. He said he had other clients who have been waiting hours and I reminded him I am one of his clients that had waited hours, and I wasn't trying to be difficult, I just wanted to make sure the tattoo was in a place I'd be happy with. I was getting the blame for him having to print and place the stencils on me repeatedly when he clearly did not care enough to get it right the first, second, up to the fifth time. I asked him if we could try one more time and finally he showed some initiative in getting it right by using a pen to sketch out where exactly the tattoo would be placed. Unfortunately, it was still just a bit off but at this point I'm sure he would have refused to tattoo me and I also wasn't comfortable getting a tattoo by him or giving him my money either. I went over and told him it's all good, clearly he's had a long day and I don't want to take up more of his time. He did not look at me or speak to me at all in response, and kept his eyes glued to the anime on the TV in his station. My boyfriend gave him one last "thank you," and he received the same inattention. Again, I don't care about waiting long times, I don't care that the artists may be tired, that is completely understandable and fine with me. But if he had just told me, "Hey, I'm sorry but I've had a really long day and I think I need to tap out, could you come in on Sunday?" I would've been glad to accept his offer. Instead, I got complete unprofessionalism and no tattoo at the end of the day. The rest of the staff were nice and decent and I'm sure this facility does an amazing job most of the time, but I had never had an experience like this from an artist and I had to share it. read more

Called and one of the shop managers said he would see if any artists were available. Bella ended up texting me. I sent her some ideas I had and let her rework it. Arrived and the shop was great. Really good positive energy. Bella got me settled in and then gave me the best tattoo (#8 I've received this far. Couldn't recommend her more. Last night my son and I were tattooed by Mr Ryan Mitchell. It had been 9 years since I got my last work done and my son just turned 18 so we decided what better time than now? We had made the plan to both get some ink to celebrate his born day he had planned on getting a matching tattoo of a symbol I have on my wrist. I wasn't sure yet of what to get up until two weeks before his birthday, our family dog of 13 years Peachie passed away. The day he passed we both decided we were gonna get his paw print memorialized in ink. I made the appointment online and within a day I got a response to set a date and time. I then got a text from Ryan who introduced himself and was asking for a description of what we wanted. It was our dogs paw pressed in a clay imprint. I was honestly expecting the shop to pass this simple small job to an apprentice of some sort just to blast a stamp of it on us but when we went in to actually get it done It was obvious that Ryan was no apprentice. His vision for our ink was to make it actually look imprinted in our leg as it is in the mold. I was immediately impressed with his imagination and confidence in bringing the vision to reality. Owner contacted me directly after I inquired about getting a cover up on my arm. She scheduled me with the artist I found on IG, Mike Myers, and he's been great! He's a funny guy, very friendly, and works with my schedule. I had only the outline of flowers on my arm and he's done his best to finish what another artist started. I've been going to this shop for years, not because of the artistic skill, but because I (had) trust & loyalty in this shop. Miguel (@martian_ink) did a larger piece on my arm, which he was 30 mins late starting, then proceeded to take 3-4 blunt breaks with his girlfriend outside while I sat in the chair for 10-15 mins alone each time. After leaving the shop I made him aware of some empty spots he forgot to fill in, to which he told me he needed to be paid again. If it a preference or additional detail I wanted added, it would be understandable. But this was an artist mistake, who is too blinded by greed to realize the client/artist relationship is more important than your pride. so you can save the needle and I'll save the thousands of dollars I was planning on spending on future work and give it to someone who puts pride in their work. Wish I could have handled this privately in the DM's, but he doesn't care to respond to those either. Other artists in the shop are crazy talented though :) read more
