Soooo...... My middle school-aged daughter and her mom, against my advice, went to Claire's at the Cabazon outlet to get her second piercing in her left ear lobe area. Approximately two weeks later, the piercing, which was too small, absorbed into her inner earlobe. My daughter was in pain and could not force the ball ear piercing through her ear. I attempted to remove the piercing with some surgical instruments, but before I decided to dissect the flesh around her earlobe, I reached out to Diamond City Tattoo and Piercing. The owner's wife (I believe) responded immediately and empathized with our dilemma. She immediately created an appointment for us with Spayduh. Upon our arrival Spayduh greeted us and assessed the damage caused by Claire's. I want to say that Spayduh's energy and positive vibe immediately put my daughter and me at ease. Spayduh is a consummate professional, she exuded confidence, and positivity. She immediately assessed the situation and came up with a game plan that was genius. Yesterday me, my two sisters, my mom and my daughter all got something done at Diamond City. 4 of us got tattooed (my mom's first tattoo!) by Pedro and my daughter got her eyebrow pierced by Moo Tang. When I called to make the appointment for the eyebrow piercing Moo answered the phone and I immediately felt his good energy. He was such a joy on the phone and even better in person. When I reached out to Pedro about the tattoos, for four of us in one day, he was immediately on board and we set a time and date. As soon as we all walked into the shop yesterday we were greeted by both Pedro and Moo with smiles and a warm welcome. The shop is absolutely beautiful, clean, smelled good and had good energy all around. I went in for a tragus piercing, which I convinced myself would be more painful than my tattoo experiences, but it wasn't at all. My artist, Kyla, was PHENOMENAL. She was very clear on what to expect and made me feel reassured from start to finish. On a scale of 1-10, the 'pain' was at most a 1 - no discomfort at all. Each time I've come in they run a completely sanitized and clean process. They lay out everything, santize and communicate the process. Moo also gives you a lollipop after, so why wouldn't you come in Moo is one of the most seasoned piercers I've ever worked with, with an emphasis on patient education and knowledge so that you can preserve your piercing for a long time. He's adamant about coming in if you need anything, if it's irritated, infected or just not feeling right. The convenience of booking on Vagaro is seriously favorite shop.
