I was driving back from work and had the itch to get pierced up. I called this place to see if they take any walk in's and by my surprise got an appointment not too long after for a Labret piercing. Coming in it's a nice welcoming environment. I got greeted by 'the man of the shop'. He did amazing explaining the care processes to me and another client. He explained any questions we had for him thoroughly. Anyone who is going for there first time should definitely get pierced with Moo! What a joy! Such a personable guy (w/ dj talent), and I can tell this dude loves his job. He is such a great piercer and not only is he meticulous with his work, but he is so precious and gentle with the actual piercing process. Great for nervous beginners. My friend and I went on Thursday night to get naval piercings, she walked us through the whole process, made sure we were comfortable, and even gave us squishes to hold while being pierced. Soooo...... My middle school-aged daughter and her mom, against my advice, went to Claire's at the Cabazon outlet to get her second piercing in her left ear lobe area. Approximately two weeks later, the piercing, which was too small, absorbed into her inner earlobe. My daughter was in pain and could not force the ball ear piercing through her ear. I attempted to remove the piercing with some surgical instruments, but before I decided to dissect the flesh around her earlobe, I reached out to Diamond City Tattoo and Piercing. The owner's wife (I believe) responded immediately and empathized with our dilemma. She immediately created an appointment for us with Spayduh. Upon our arrival Spayduh greeted us and assessed the damage caused by Claire's. I want to say that Spayduh's energy and positive vibe immediately put my daughter and me at ease. Spayduh is a consummate professional, she exuded confidence, and positivity. She immediately assessed the situation and came up with a game plan that was genius. She went to work quickly and within a few seconds, removed the botched piercing. Spayduh then found the perfect size piercing to accommodate for the damage previously done by Claire's. My daughter was so happy that Spayduh fixed her ear and created some very positive women empowerment vibes that my daughter was seeking. I have been tattooed over the last 25 years, and I am pretty much covered from chest to arms. It has been a learning process, but I have found that only one artist knows my style and my vibe. Yesterday me, my two sisters, my mom and my daughter all got something done at Diamond City. 4 of us got tattooed (my mom's first tattoo!) by Pedro and my daughter got her eyebrow pierced by Moo Tang. When I called to make the appointment for the eyebrow piercing Moo answered the phone and I immediately felt his good energy. He was such a joy on the phone and even better in person. When I reached out to Pedro about the tattoos, for four of us in one day, he was immediately on board and we set a time and date. As soon as we all walked into the shop yesterday we were greeted by both Pedro and Moo with smiles and a warm welcome. The shop is absolutely beautiful, clean, smelled good and had good energy all around. We were there for roughly 4.5 hours but felt like nothing because of the conversation and company we had with the boys. I am so incredibly impressed with the shop and the staff. I HIGHLY recommend this place for several reasons. Firstly, they are extremely quick with their responses to inquiries and are exceptionally considerate over the phone and in person. The booking process online was very intuitive, and I was able to book a convenient appointment within minutes. When asked, they were very thorough on what to expect and I was able to sign all the required documentation prior to my appointment, which saved time. That's just the booking part, now to discuss the actual appointment. Moo and his team are amazing and tremendously welcoming. Very neat location, tons of tastefully captivating art on the walls, and great music playing - pretty much everything you could ask for. I went in for a tragus piercing, which I convinced myself would be more painful than my tattoo experiences, but it wasn't at all. My artist, Kyla, was PHENOMENAL. She was very clear on what to expect and made me feel reassured from start to finish. On a scale of 1-10, the 'pain' was at most a 1 - no discomfort at all. I arrive not even 30 minutes later, and not one person greeted me or acknowledged my presence. Each time I've come in they run a completely sanitized and clean process. They lay out everything, santize and communicate the process. Moo also gives you a lollipop after, so why wouldn't you come in Moo is one of the most seasoned piercers I've ever worked with, with an emphasis on patient education and knowledge so that you can preserve your piercing for a long time. He's adamant about coming in if you need anything, if it's irritated, infected or just not feeling right. The convenience of booking on Vagaro is seriously favorite shop.
