We got a matching sister tattoo from Brian on Monday 4/24 and the whole process was really great! The location is nice and really cool inside. I had filled out a form beforehand online and then he texted me details and figuring things out. He brought on the design on an iPad for us to look at and approve, and then he printed a few sizes for us to try. In between each person he has us go to the front waiting area so he could sanitize and reset for the next one, which I appreciated because it was nice to know everything was going to be clean. On top of all that he was super friendly and nice as we chatted through them all and he told us about himself. Please re trade closely , apparently asking 1 time at the time of booking and 1 time the day of the appointment is asking repeatedly. I do understand that screenshots can be taken so I refrained from asking until the day of my appointment before driving 45 minutes to get there and I don't like the design. It's sad to see you try to trap clients into tattoos they may not like because they're stuck with the design that a prideful artist won't tweak for the clients request. And they already wasted the time to place the appointment and drive out there , so they feel inclined. I called in frantically to Sea Hag to get a poorly pierced flat back stud taken out, as the initial piercer in Sacramento had given me jewelry that didn't account for any swelling, so I've been in pain for about six months with this piercing hurting my ear. I live in a rural area with no piercers, so I was desperate to find someone to yank this thing out of my ear while I was in town! Midori fit me in almost immediately, gave me a thorough consultation on what the initial piercer did wrong for both of the piercings they did, and let me know realistically what my chances of keeping both piercings were, given how incorrectly they were pierced. She also was able to re-pierce one of the previously wrong ones that I had taken out on the spot. I was so thankful for Midori squeezing me in, answering my questions, and reaffirming me - I'll 100% go back to her for my next piercings. read more

I just happen to stroll into this establishment by chance because I was getting dinner just a few yards away and saw the tattoo sign. I have been wanting to get a new tattoo and searching for a new shop/artist can be challenging. A lot of places don't give you the time of day when you walk into their tattoo shop. Fine by me. You will definitely not get my business. Not the case for Seahag. The minute I walked in, I was instantly greated by Marissa who was in the middle of tattooing a client. She answered all the questions I needed answered and right then and there I decided to go with Seahag. I went on their website and looked at each artists' work. For some reason I was drawn to Eric. I contacted him and asked if we could meet in person to discuss my piece thar I wanted. From the very beginning Eric was so easy to work with and was constantly in touch with me. Before I tell my story of this place I really want to emphasize one thing. This place is so damn welcoming, so chill. I am so happy I stumbled upon this place. Not only do they do incredible work, they make you feel comfortable while your being stabbed thousands of times over and over. It's great. A couple years ago, I decided to surprise my wife when she came back from an out of town trip with my first tattoo. I knew I wanted a sunflower on my calf, but i wasn't sure how this even worked. I walked into the shop, spoke to Shaun and told me what I needed to do. Right there I googled a photo, edited the design a little with him, and two hours later I had my first tattoo! I didn't realize until later the huge risk I took by going to this random tattoo shop and just talking to some dude about basically drawing on my body, but I'm glad I did! I came back a few months later and got a second tattoo of a hydrangea flower for my mother, again with Shaun. Two weeks ago, my wife decided to gift me a tattoo. I had been talking about getting one in honor of our son. I knew this one was going to be a little more "meaningful" i guess you could say since I was going to be actually designing my first tattoo and not just taking an image and imposing it on my skin. I walked in and talked to Joe (Shaun, that jerk, moved away) and talked about my idea. Felt pretty comfortable with Joe since I had seen him at the previous tattoo sessions I had with one big change; he owns the place now! He sent me stencils of my idea multiple times, each time edited after my feedback. Once he sent the last stencil I felt that it was perfect. Joe was awesome - he was super chill and we just talked about all sorts of random stuff, which made the thousands of needle prods more tolerable. After the tattoo was done, it looked perfect! I am so damn happy with my tattoo. I put it on my forearm, so having it come out perfect was a big deal for me since it's my first tattoo that's a lot more visible than my calves. Here's the BEST part of this whole experience. Once we were done, I got to my car and was slowly getting back into it when Joe runs out to find me. He was examining the picture of the tattoo he took and realized that he missed literally one tiny stroke. If he hadn't have called me back to add in the stroke, I would have NEVER noticed it. I appreciated that attention to detail and his dedication to making sure it was correct. I'm so glad I've placed my trust in this place. I really can't picture myself getting a tattoo anywhere else. This is the best tattoo shop I've ever been to hands down. Eva, Joe and Shaun are all super cool and are excellent at what they do. This is a very clean shop and meticulous about tattooing which is really what you want in a tattoo artist. They have a great website and so much information about taking care of your tattoo and the different tattoo's each artist has done. Hubs and I planned to get our tattoo's done at the same time and I went with Eva and Hubs went with Joe. Eva is very good at what she does. Came in over a year ago (March 2015) to get an arm piece done by Eva and I am honestly so freakin impressed at how awesome it still looks and I get so many compliments on it. I got a swallow bird with cherry blossoms and a compass on my left arm. At first I thought I wanted something along the lines of an American Traditional, but I really liked her especially after my first tattoo I got that I agreed to see how she would draw it out in her own style and I am so so so glad I decided to go with it. The way she drew it fit me so well, it's cute and girly and delicate, plus it just flows so nicely with my arm. Eva Phoenix. Her name alone was enough to draw me in!! I sent a LENGTHY email to the shop describing what I wanted. Eva invited me to come in and talk in more depth and detail about what I had in mind. We talked for a good hour when I went to the shop, and we discussed size, placement, and design options. She was incredibly polite, spoke frankly, and told me what I originally had in mind was doable, but it wouldn't have the effect I wanted and over time wouldn't look good. She told me to take my time and ponder before undergoing something so personal and permanent. She sent me home with a mock template of the design she created and my forearm marked up with Sharpie pen to get a better sense of how it would look. I so appreciated that and pondered the decision all the way home. Surprise! Surprise! I got my tattoo and I couldn't be more pleased. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the shop as it is imaculatly kept. Just got a piece done by Eva and am very happy with her work and experience at her shop. She's an extremely talented artist/owner that's been in the business for a while and knows exactly what she's doing. Found this place through Yelp, saw their work through their website, and decided to contact them. Conversed with Eva through email and she was very prompt with her responses and was advised to talk in person to communicate clearly and trade ideas about the piece. So after telling her what I wanted, Eva is straight up in telling you what can and can't work. And I respect that. Nothing worst than an artist that just wants your money and over time your piece will look like shit. She steered me in the right decision by tweaking the piece a bit and two weeks later my appt. was set. What sets this shop aside from others that I've been in around the area, is how professional everyone is here. It's all about business here, which in turn makes both you and the artist happy. No random hooligans hanging out at the shop that don't work there, no pretentious attitudes, no frequent smoke breaks, just talented artists and good conversations.
