    Glazing appointment after making
    Ashley H.

This place is amazing for pottery on the West side of LA!!! I can't recommend this place enough. I bought a Groupon for 2 people and my best friend and I loved it! We even bought 4 wheel thrown classes to come back. The best part about these classes is they are smaller, 5 people go a group. You get to make 2 pieces per person - 1 hand shaped and 1 on the wheel. Definitely wear comfortable clothing! There is a parking lot in the back which is also really nice.

The class is perfect for date night! I loved learning both ways to make pottery. Keke was very kind and helpful!

I came here for a beginner pottery class with eight other friends. I like that they can accommodate larger parties, and the overall experience was really enjoyable. We had Spencer as our instructor, and he impressively memorized all of our names--he was so friendly and helpful! The class itself had two portions: one making pottery by hand and another using the wheel. It was very cool to experience both perspectives and see the contrast between perfection and imperfection. The 90 minutes flew by, and we all had a great time. After we finished, we were told to come back in about two weeks to paint and glaze our pottery, so I'm definitely excited to return and see how our pieces turned out. I'd totally recommend this spot for first-time pottery makers. Thanks to Spencer for being awesome! Parking - They have free parking in the back, which is a huge plus. There's also street parking if the lot is full, and it looked plentiful from what I saw.

Great experience, good teacher, had a really good time. I would recommend this and get a Groupon

I booked a pottery class with a friend and did it in January. Did the glazing appointment in April. Life stuff happened so didn't pick it up right away. We got an email on June 11 to pick up our items or they would be disposed of a month later. My friend came on June 14 to pick it up, but they were already thrown away. What? I was looking forward to getting our pieces. Your email is misleading. there was also no warning about how soon the classes had to be booked together.

Had an amazing experience with Nicole during my one time class! She helped my visions come to life and guided me the whole time. 10/10 would come back. I love how big and open the space is, you really get in the zone when you're here. I can't wait to come back and glaze my pieces!!

Customer service reached out, and they were really understanding about my review. They shipped my missing piece at no extra charge. Customer service gets 5 stars in my books.

My husband and I came here for the beginner class. It was so relaxing and fun. Parking was easily found in the lot around the back. The space itself is very open and airy with cute motivating posters and great indie music playing. We started with the pinch pot and then moved to making a bowl on the wheel. The class includes all the materials including a choice of wood stamps to use and an opportunity to come back and glaze your pieces. The class is small, limited to 5 people, allowing just enough instruction and intimacy. Our instructor, Spencer, had the most calming voice and great energy. He directed us when we needed a little guidance (especially on the wheel) and was very helpful. This class was a perfect introduction to pottery and I can't wait to come back to glaze our pieces!

The beginning pottery class was so fun! A perfect introduction to hand building and using the wheel. The space was roomy and had everything we need at our fingertips. Drew was our instructor and he was an excellent teacher. He broke things down in an easy way to understand, he explained why and how certain methods work, and was there to assist us with a friendly and positive attitude! Thanks Drew, for a fun and creative evening!

To get started, you can use a pencil to draw, tracing paper for a printed design, stickers as stencils, or even lace for cool designs. After painting, you'll come back in a week to pick up the piece after they glaze it. A group of five of us came for a fun girls' day and spent about two-ish hours painting and gabbing. The staff were so nice in giving us a mini-orientation and even helping us out when we made the dreaded paint mistake! It's a great spot for friends, kids, a date, or a solo outing if you want to be creative. They have a complimentary parking lot, otherwise, there's metered parking and free street parking in the neighborhoods across Wilshire. Tips: - You can see their current inventory online and they can order you a specific piece if you give them a month's heads up. - For words or numbers, bring your own stickers. Otherwise, you can purchase theirs and they have lace for sale too. - Check out their Instagram for inspiration! - For the non-artistic types, I highly recommend printing out a design you want in advance. You can trace it directly on a plate or the like and then just paint it with colors (or pick something easy like an animal to paint). Have fun!
