Around you go to finish where you started. You could spend all day here learning about the history of Louisiana through the informative dioramas, the artifacts, and the historical paintings. It is amazing. The dioramas each represent a way of life, a major event, an industry. or a period in history. It is like watching a historical movie, only nothing is moving. It is free!

It was an excellent opportunity to learn more about the state. The building is beautiful and the exhibits consists of a bunch of amazing dioramas among other things. We were really impressed and spent an ample amount of time viewing the exhibits. I had no idea that salt mining was a thing in Louisiana and enjoyed learning more about it. I'd love to stop by again if I'm back in the area.
