I've had repairs done by this company and always had no complaints. This time, same thing. We had fences blown down on both sides of the property in that hellacious windstorm the end of January. I called for an estimate and they showed up that same day and gave us one that we couldn't turn down. It was a week before they came to do the work and we understood since there were fences down everywhere in Carson City. They finally came on a rainy / snowy day and finished the entire job efficiently well done. I had to call them back because of cement residue on the sidewalk. Our HOA grounds committee frown on that. They came back that same day 2-7-24 and repaired it. This is a PROFESSIONAL company with Professional employees and I recommend them highly !! read more

Recently had a gate modification done on our chain link fence. Artistic Fence was prompt with providing a quote and ahead of schedule in delivering the new gate. When a measurement error in the new gate was found, they resolved the issue quickly and with no push back or questions. No one is perfect, we all have those times, it's what one does about it that really matters and these guys did it right! THIS WAS POSTED IN ERROR FOR THE RENO OFFICE OF ARTISTIC FENCE ON 10/20/13: WE USED THE HWY. 50, CARSON CITY PEOPLE TO DO THIS WORK ... MAYBE IT IS THE SAME WORKERS, BUT WE ARE NOT SURE. The fence LOOKED good for a few years. Now we have LEANING and very loose upright posts on about 30% of our fence. The customer service at the office is poor. If you are going to use these guys, make sure you watch the installation! The install guys may not really know what they are doing, no matter what their salesman tells you. They skimmed through their work towards the end. My husband had to watch them pretty much constantly on one side of our property line because they kept veering off the property line markers about two feet! That is NOT COOL. Now we hope the other three sides are accurate on our property line. On some posts there is NO CONCRETE as promised, and other posts were installed with the concrete too low in the ground, and with a flat top. Water sat there and did not drain and rotted the posts. My husband found this rotted wood below the dirt in our extraordinarily DRY No. NV climate, not near any irrigation and high on the outskirts of our large property. Now we have to dig out, support the post with metal or wood stakes with very large screws, break up old (flat) concrete underneath and get rid of that, and re-pour new concrete properly. Artistic would be happy to charge us $150 per post ... on about 50 (fifty) posts that badly need repair!! If you use them, which I do not recommend, you have to watch them closely while working on your property. The office girl is quick to tell you: "Well, there's no warranty." She is very rude. Yeah, thanks. We know. We did not ASK about a warranty just now. We know how to read our contract. Bad deal. They don't take responsibility. Horrible office people. Use someone else. read more

we have used the Carson branch for 2 good sized fence projects, one wood and one wire - all with metal posts. We knew going in that both projects would not begin for several weeks (especially since they had to order the metal posts), but once the work was started it was done promptly and efficiently with no issues whatsoever. We have just hired them for a third fencing project, so, yes, we enjoy giving them our business. read more

We started this project with artistic fence approximate about 3 months ago once we gave him a deposit it took them one month before they could come out and even start the project, the first day of they came out all they were able to do is insert the post they did not have what they needed to do the gates unfortunately we help them by taking the gates down the night before leaving our property unsecured, when they were done with just a post we asked him when they would be back to complete the job, We were advised by the workers that we needed to call the office to get an ETA for them to return to complete the task we advised the workers that we have animals that we need to secure on property and they said they would talk to the office, again another month has passed we have to push the matter of the ETA for the gates, again more excuses or they just don't call you back, the office receptionist says she gives them the messages and they will call me back,but.yoi have to keep calling them, when they finally returned for the second time to put the gates up there missing poles covers. When they finally leave after putting up the gates we realize that the locks are put on the wrong side so we begin or third journey into the company and trying to get this correction done the lock fell off the gate just three days after the fences were installed and now we're back to the third time calls to the company trying to get these Corrections done leaving several messages with this office and talking to the reception at this time still nothing has been corrected or fixed Artistic fence is quick to cash your check but lacking the same efficiency when it comes to completing the job,I plan on filing a Complaint With The Better Business Bureau for the conduct company, and will make sure to advice people that I know never to go through this company, I do not believe these companies should be allowed to take deposits or payments from customers until their job has been completed they lack effort and dedication to the company into their jobs, I wish we would have read the pass reviews on this company before hiring them, I give this company ( Zero ) for a reviews for servers read more

be aware, i need a back 6ft standard dogear fence replaced. i measured it before they came out to give me a estimate. now it was 106 l.f i told the guy they sent out here is was 110l.f of fence just to round it up., so he sends me a estimate for 160 l.f of fence. and the price was insane at $6,500 dollars. just to be clear this is a standard 6ft fence with no frills, no lattice work. just be aware that this company is trying to rip people off on their prices. they are throwing darts to see what sticks. that would be around $65 dollars a foot. wow they are insane. read more

We recently hired Artistic to install a split rail fence (with mesh) around nearly an acre of land on our property--to keep our dog inside. Their quote was lower than others we received; and in fact, the work was excellent. Sean, Daniel, and another fencing whiz whose name we missed were here bright and early on work days, and they worked hard, completing the job quickly. It was difficult, with slopes, trees, and rocks under the soil that meant having to dig the post holes by hand. They installed a nice gate in the driveway, and one in the back, all with attention to detail. We are more than satisfied with the nice fence from Artistic. read more
