My last experience with grooming @ petco, the groomer shaved my corgi's stomach & I have been hesitant to take him back in case he's shaved elsewhere. My friend tried What The Pup and loved them for her corgi, so we thought we'd give them a try. What the Pup was really affordable, awesome with communication & was patient with my newer adopted corgi who is terrified of everything, even baths with groomers, apparently. (Sorry!) They both came home so soft & with beautiful haircuts & trims. They treated the double coats how they should be treated. The cute bandanas were a really nice touch! We are so happy with our experience - we will definitely be back!! I'm so excited to find a groomer I can trust with my corgis' double coats.

On the way home from the groomers I realized my dogs eye was severely damaged. When I called them and left a message they called back and said nothing was wrong. The man who groomed he relied to my face, upon finally speaking to the women (assuming the owner) she said her husband got soap in her eye. I can understand if an accident occurs, but what bothers me was no respect or integrity. I asked what happened and was lied to my face. Won't ever come back!

But with enough patience and effort, you can brush them out fully. This picture shows my pants, Kong brush, and de-shed glove. I took this picture after 5 minutes of brushing... Only 2 hours after picking him up from a de-shed grooming at Mystic Paws. I don't live here, and an leaving at 4am tomorrow. There isn't much I could ask them to do to fix it. The actually bathing was good. He's clean and smells nice. He played at daycare. But the most important part was a bit lacking. I can't figure out how to add the picture directly to my review. I have no words after visiting this store...PLEASE if you care even a little about animal's…read morewellbeing, do not shop here. 4 underweight leopard geckos, an iguana & 3 baby tortoises (which were too small to be sold, and were still priced at over $100) all in a 10 gallon tank together...A 20 INCH LONG TANK with 8 INCOMPATIBLE ANIMALS INSIDE. There was also a utility sink with a HUGE slider turtle and 4 other smaller (5-6" shell) turtles just sitting in the empty sink, flinching when anyone walked past. I wish I had taken pictures, I feel so stupid for not doing so, but I was so shocked and so afraid of being told to leave the store if I pulled my phone out for a photo. I genuinely can't believe the conditions these reptiles were in...the fish tanks were all dyed gravel and plastic plants, which isn't great of course, but the genuine lack of BARE NECESSITIES for the reptiles left me speechless. If I ever go back to this 'store' it will only be for pictures of the animal neglect and/or to see if anything improved...

The wait can be long but once I saw vet, the care was excellent and quick and I was always given very detail information what test results were and the strategy for healing. Medication always made dog healthy again. If these guys were full time vets, I would switch my vet immediately. Repeatedly we told them that it was impossible that she has ingested Marijuana. The vet offered treatments based on the assumption of Marijuana ingestion, but no other ideas or options were offered. Upon arriving home I re-sesrched the house. I saw the cleaner I was using in the bathroom (where our dog was with me the whole time I was cleaning). It was a strong tea tree cleaner. I looked up online if that could be the problem and low and behold it appeared to be 100% in keeping with our situation. The vet assumed the entire time that it was Marijuana and failed to even mention Tea Tree (despite it being a common substance in homes). They failed to even listen to me about Marijuana not being a possible problem and did not even explore or consider any other possibilities. I called back to get help and am currently waiting for someone to call me back. This is frightening and frustrating. Edit: I did receive a call and got information regarding tea tree poisoning later on. The vets did check up on my dog the next day.
