my teenage daughter had a cleaning appt today where a filling in her front tooth dislodged...ok…read morethings happen but when Dr Lasser came in to check her teeth ( not her regular dentist that she sees...she has dr Elice who is wonderful), dr Lasser asked her if she was aware that she had a chip in her tooth. my daughter explained that when the hygienist was just cleaning her teeth, the filling was knocked out. Dr. Lasser proceeded to put the blame on my daughter that the filling fell out and made her cry in the office. While crying, he had no compassion for her and continued the oral examination as if she was completely fine!! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! ...give her a minute to get composed! . And to make matters worse, they can't accommodate her to have the filling redone for months. My husband asked if they could fit her in soon to have it redone with her regular dentist and Dr Lasser started yammering about how busy they were because they were one of the only practices that still took dental dental.... totally off topic !!!! ( while my daughter is still crying btw!) We have had an issue before with Dr. Lasser and his rudeness years ago, it's time for him to retire if he can't have compassion and respect for his patients .... It gives the rest of the employees in his office a very bad look !!! if booking an appointment with this office, I would be avoid him as a dentist at all cost!

Iam not cutting any slack for any human being that would harm a child. I was told if my daughter…read morewas going to opt for a composite filling on her two cavities she would most definitely need anesthesia. I have the anesthesia paperwork and it's about $2400 because downtime and whatever excuse to charge more money., so no it will never be 1600. A composite filling takes time so therefore nitrous oxide is a no go since she can wake up and freak out. They could not confirm any more than the two cavities since they were not able to get the pictures, however, they didn't mention some invisible cavity being a problem. I am very neurotic taking care of my daughter's teeth and have close-up pictures. It's pretty impressive how clean they are. Now the father gives me the quote from the Dental company and the Whole dental visit will end up costing about 4500 since it's 2000 for the dental work/not general anesthesia. so my daughter would've undergone anesthesia and walked out with five stainless steel crowns in her mouth. Oh, I was very clear. I absolutely don't give consent to crowns. They also wanted to add ceiling on top of the tooth that they were going to crown. I can't see how that's necessary but, OK let's make the quote higher and add in. stainless steel crowns are very fast for procedure so there was absolutely no reason to suggest that over composite filling. Something is truly corrupt and more people need to speak up about this child abuse. Thank God, my gut told me to look further into it. One woman was not as lucky and had the same exact quote, expected child's teeth to be filled to daughter being gone for three hours and walking out with a metal mouth. These people need to be stopped. I am so sorry for her. I need to warn everyone.

Cranston Pediatric Dentistry - The tooth that is circled is beginning to become loose. Next truth to the right, not loose, then this molar is the one needing filling.

Dr Fontini and her hygienists are amazing with children. Everyone in the office are happy, kind…read moreand gentle. It is obvious that everyone who works here loves children. I brought my son here for his first dentist visit. They couldn't have been sweeter to him. I already made his next dentist appointment with them in six months. My only constructive criticism is that the main lobby looks like an adult dentist office. I actually wasn't sure I was in the right place when I first got there. Painting the waiting room with bright colors and adding some toys might make it more kid welcoming. If they have the extra cash it might be worth it to hire an interior designer to make the waiting room more fun. But regardless, I highly recommend this place to anyone with kids!

After answering the phone with a kurt "hi" I was promptly asked "do you have insurance". I replied yes but had a question...before I could even complete my questions the receptionist told me they don't make appointments until they can verify my insurance. I said that was fine however i had a question (i have bcbs and delta dental and wanted to know if I could specify which would be the primary, etc.), she told me to hold but forgot to actually hit hold where I could hear her and another receptionist badmouthing me about "asking so many questions", "probably doesn't even have insurance", "ugh another new patient paperwork"....she then realizes that she didn't actually put me on hold and says she's going to transfer me to someone else.. The next receptionist picks up and says "can I help you", I tell her I was transferred to her and that i was trying to set up a new appointment. Before I could even start asking a question I'm asked again about having insurance which I reply that I do. She starts taking my information and is increasingly more and more rude as I answer her questions and reply with my own (like why do you need 2 phone numbers and an email address to "remind me of an appointment? - simple question, right?!). This place was highly recommended by several people I know however based off this first impression by their reception staff, I can't believe they are able to stay in business with customer service like this. Its a shame, I wonder if the dentist know this is how their patients are being treated.

I'm telling you this "DMD" is someone who does things based on the "KIND" of day she's having !!!!!!!! SO IF YOU have an appointment schedule on a day she's not "FEELING" BEWARE you or your kids will have to deal with her attitude! ORRR it COULD be she just doesnt like i am HISPANIC mmhm maybe.... I'm telling you when i take MY daughter ( WHO IS TERRIFIED OF THE DENTIST) this "DMD" has no sympathy what so ever ! My daughter does tend to cry while the "DMD" performs her duties but as a PEDIATRIC DR your suppose to have patients and sympathhis with these kids instead of saying " SHUT UP " what the heckkkk is that ????? ORRRR The fact that my daughter had felt safer if her Step Mother was in the room and so step mom come and when she does come up to comfort MY CHILD ( MIND YOU IM GIVING VERBAL OK that she sit in the room with me and my daughter) Mrs. Fotini M Dionisopoulos verbally ATTACKS her stating she's not allowed in the room due to "HIPPA" !! I'm ALLOWING THIS her to be in the room and it's still an issue ! EVEN after step mom was the one who took her to the initial appointment ALONE without me present and was allowed to be in the room no issue !!!! My daughter's mom (STEP) was embarrassed, so when we left she spoke w/ the receptionist and as did I, and we asked what documents needed to be signed so that situation didn't happen or just in case i couldn't come to the next appointment there was no trouble. The receptionist stated there was no form to be filled out that she was fine just to come in !!!!!!!!!!! WTHECK and as u leave u hear someone from the office team say " Fotini " isnt having it today ???? BECAUSE THAT'S FAIR FOR US ? UGHHH SHE NEEDS TO WORK ON HER PPL SKILLS AND COMFORTING CHILDREN.
