Artists and Fleas has moved from N6th it's former home, to a place further towards the river on North 7th. I had no idea, so it was a nice surprise to bump into it on the way back from Smorgasburg. They have tons of clothes, and not just for women. For guys I found t-shirts, and some different kind of ties. There are also lots of jewelry vendors of all types, and then various vintage items. It's more of a jackpot for the ladies, but I can't say I minded. :-) read more

This place is fun! It is far from a "flea market" but a good place to visit when spending time in Williamsburg. A good way to meet some local artists as well and there are often different stands on Saturday versus Sunday. I like to bring family and friends here when they are visiting from out of town to expose them to some of the charm of this neighborhood. There are a ton of similar jewelry stands so it's worth it to check if they use gold plated versus gold filled (huge difference) since often lower prices means the less durable plated version. Although this place looks like a typical flea market the prices would certainly suggest otherwise. My mother and I were looking at some of the clothes at one stand and although they were in good condition I was surprised that a cotton kaftan was priced at $150. Most BK fleas are now on the pricier end where you won't find much of a deal, but this one in particular is a unique fave of mine. Also, just my personal opinion: Metal Taboo is edgy and unique, but I find it disturbing when people try to make money of of something as critical and difficult as cancer. Your overpriced "F*ck Cancer" plates are depressing. Have a soul. read more

Love this place, 1st visit today! Got a cool "shift-lock" typewriter ring from Churoncalla, and a unique "makeover" framed painting from Leroy's Place. Can't wait to hang the framed goodness when I get home. Will definitely come back. read more

A cool hipster market with a range of neat items. Indie designers and craftspeople run their own booths and sell their nifty-things directly to you, which means that you can find unique accessories which aren't mass-produced or even distributed beyond the room you're shopping in. The community of vendors seems to be growing pretty rapidly, which is cool. They have DJs scratching while you shop, which helps make it a fun weekend pasttime even if you don't score any one-of-a-kind hand-felted fanny packs or whatever you're seeking. Artists & Fleas happens every weekend, although sometimes they do weekday sales as well-- you'll want to check the website to find out what's going on before you head over. read more

They have ads for this all over the subway. Wanted to go for ages. Finally got my chance more recently through a personal contact. This is NOT your "cheap goods" stop but items made in America by true artists. Prices aren't cheap but they do have some very nice clothing & jewelry. Lots of booths here so take your time in looking. You also never know who you'll meet here so if you have a sense of wonder & adventure, this is definitely a good place for you. Tons of hipsters; hope you like them or you'll be very unhappy here. read more

Stopped by after visiting the Brooklyn Flea which is really close by. There was a hamburger stand outside as well as a coffee stand. Inside was packed with vendors selling clothes and jewelry...definitely geared more so for the woman. Didn't end up with anything, but always a pleasure to browse artist's handiwork. read more

AHH so awesome! I love different, eclectic pieces and one of a kind items, and A&F is the place to go. I got a beautiful peacock feather headband, hand made by A La Tete, and I plan on getting some more. Also a good one to check out Vera Meat for some hot, quirky rings and necklaces. They also have some books towards to the back, I didn't get a chance to flip through any, and there were some awesome polymer clay earrings from Gina Maura, which hopefully I will be able to buy next week, if she's there. A flea market located right across the Saturday smorgasburg so people usually go here after the binge. It's a really unique trendy place which sells a bunch of stuff. The accessories here are really great but quite pricey. We got a couple of celebrity candles which is a good gift idea. read more

I think I enjoyed this more the last time I came here -- probably because there was a vendor with amazing earl grey fudge, but the vendor wasn't there this time. I got a super cool headband made from repurposed men's ties, and there was a vibrant green vintage cape I wish I could have gotten. Lots of jewelry designers here as well. Love this place! Lots of cool little bits of jewelry and artistic products (think etsy) that you can check out. I also found this to be a fun place to check out with friends or on a date. It really gives other people that Brooklyn vibe. They also play nice music and have more guyish things like records, watches, and money clips. read more

Great spot with some really unique items. I love just wondering around here it's got a great feel. The only reason I haven't given it more is becuase for a 'flea market' it's very pricy. You wouldn't head here to pick up a bargain...this is definitely the place to pick up something a little bit unique or special. Or just a great place to bring visitors to the city. Ive been going to the Artists & Fleas market for 3 years now and have watched it blossom to from being great to being totally freaking awesome!! they have doubled in size an the vintage clothing there is to die for!! My favorite is the Epoch Beads (Also know as Brooklyn Charm) vendor! You can create your own jewelry out of deadstock vintage beads and brass pieces. so amazing. keeps me comin back! oh and they do a super rad summer market in McCarren park that starts in may each year. love it! read more

Fun stuff, sadly they are only opened on the weekends (expect for special holiday hours I believe). One of my favorite places to get t-shirts from the... tshirt gnome. I'm not kidding you, there is a giant felt tree in the front and the shirts there are fun and bright. Sometimes they are out of stock for a certain design cause it's that damn popular, but leave an email or check out their online store. There was also a cupcake girl, but I asked around and she is no longer here... ohwell. The jewelry lady up front has lots of special pieces that she crafts out of old photos, films and... mini forks?! Yea I know check it her out, you won't leave without buying something. read more

This place always have funky stuffs so it's worth visiting at least once if you are in that area or even from Manhattan. On Saturdays, there are a lot of food venders at the park next to this place, which is called Smorgasburg. So you can buy quick lunch there, too. Very convenient. read more

I go here way more than I should. The vendors do occasionally change, but there are a few that are always there. Most of the things I gravitate too are WAY too expensive but that is to be expected at a Williamsbug flea market I suppose. Those cool vintage finds are in high demand. Even if I don't buy anything on a particular venture, it is fun to browse. It is walking distance to Brooklyn Flea, which is open in the warmer months. Supporting local artists, this is a cool place to browse around and perhaps find some unique items. There are some pieces of beautiful jewelry, vintage clothing, and handmade crafts. There's cool stuff for guys as well-tees, cufflinks, ties. It's a decent sized space, and allocate at least an hour if you're the type to browse around and like to look through everything. Yay!! Brooklyn artists are so talented! I see the stamp "Made in Brooklyn" all over Etsy. Well here it is!! The physical location of many vendors. I love independent jewellery makers. The vendors here do not disappoint. The prices are decent in my opinion. Many affordable, some very pricey. This market is huge! Rows and rows of vendors. Lots of jewellery, some men accessories, few t-shirts than I hoped for. I didn't find the clothing particularly interesting. OH AND A DJ! read more

It's 70% artists (etsy) and 30% flea. Unique findings and used clothes. I enjoy browsing over-priced flea markets. You might not get fair prices but the selection is much better. The "vintage" (some are vintage, some are just second-hand) clothes were all chosen by people with great taste and fashion sense. I love browsing through the artist stands. Every item is so unique. It's kind of like having etsy in real life and you can touch and feel the materials and try them jon as well. There are some funky stuff in here. I saw some superhero rings and toycar rings. I saw the cutest pillowcase dresses (for adults) there but I didn't pick up a business card! One dress had a picture of a bicycle on the front and back and also pockets. It's cute, it's in the centre of williamsbourg. There are a few stalls which have some nice homemade stuff (I loved the monster dolls and got broody when I saw the little bibs) as well as the usual turgid vintage 'finds'. However, it is seriously small. Two spaces with maybe 15 to 20 stalls in total. Something to wander by, not a destination. If in London hit Brick Lane/ Spitalfields on a Sunday for about a square mile of similar stuff. read more

This isn't a "flea market". It's more like a vintage/craft market. Has some really cool vendors with unique items that I've never seen west of the Mississippi. Definitely very Brooklyn. I bought a bracelet that I love and would have bought more if I had brought more $$ with me. Vendors offered better prices when paid in cash so definitely ask if they offer discounts. read more

Really nice shopping market- I've been there several times and I always find a treasure in this place. If you like original, one of kind stuff this is the place to go. You'll find everything from designer jewelry, to vintage jewelry, used and new clothing, accessories, shoes, everything and anything. The only reason why i don't give this place 5 starts is b/c some of the shops are a little overpriced. On the bright side this is a place for you to refine your bargain techniques- I was able to negotiate the price of a couple of vintage pieces I got.
