It's been a while since I've trekked down to the basement of Elizabeth Center. They've revamped it so that everything looks nicer now. There's a couple of gift shops that sell a bunch of Sanrio and anime goods (lots of Demon Slayer merch). I shopped at one shop that had fortune cats in their display window. There was a nice selection of cute stationary items, towels, plushies etc. Even Molang themed merch like wallets and stickers! Got the cutest Hello Kitty pens (pens, pencils, notebooks, folders, they have it all!) and Molang stickers! The cashier even gifted me a free ring for my purchase, which was totally unexpected. Next door, there's more anime goods like DBZ, Demon Slayer, and other Sanrio themed goods. Near the register, there's literally a whole wall of Gundam kits too. I'll definitely be back to pick up some more cute stationary!

Crystal Love Jewelry store. This is a little store in the Elizabeth Shopping Mall. It's on the first floor, across from the pharmacy. They sell genuine stone, crystal and pearl jewelry. Also some costume jewelry and a large collection of hair accessories. I came in here, looking for an genuine amethyst bracelet for my niece's birthday. Purple being her favorite color. They had a variety of bracelets, nicely designed. Also saw some unusual looking jade pieces. They are having a sale on some items, right now.

There is a Chinese pharmacy on basement gift shop center. They have Japanese Capsule Toy Machine here! Exchange money to Japanese coin for play. My girl select the toy she liked and put coin in. She is very Happy with all she got!

I'm sure back in its glory day, this place must have been a thriving and popular business place for people to shop at. Came here randomly while wandering around in Chinatown and it was quite... Empty feeling. Most of the remaining shops are located in the bottom floor. However, there are a lot of vacant places that used to be businesses that made the place feel empty and cold. For the remaining shops that are still in business, most of these range from your usual gift / souvenir like shops to anime oriented shops that are ideal for people who are into manga / anime. It doesn't take more than five minutes to walk through the whole place and there wasn't too much to see. My friend who showed me around was surprised at how many businesses were gone since he last visited this place. If you're in a time crunch and want to see something, this is a place that can be skipped in favor of seeing other things in Chinatown.

Comic Con is in town this weekend and this only mean one thing... A pilgrimage to the all the Japanese Animation shops. Starting with the craziest and cheapest place I know- Elizabeth Center Cellar (aka ECC) Gift shops. It is located in the heart of Chinatown right next to the 5th Police Precinct. The cellar has a many stores to browse and shop. There are hundreds of different cellphone bling-blings for a couple of dollars. The latest teen trends are down there. Recent stuff I found are Domo gifts, Hello Kitty gifts, that squashed panda plushy in three sizes!, Mario Brothers toys, Kingdom Hearts items and hundreds of things I have NO CLUE about but a tons of fun browsing.

I came here to pass time while waiting for Matsunichi to open at 5pm today. Just went to a small gift shop called "Elizabeth Sanrio Hello Kitty Shop" in the basement level of Elizabeth Center Mall. Turn left when you step off the escalator and you'll see it! The aesthetics are amazing in organization and color selections in this tiny shop (there's a lot of pink). My friend ended up buying me a cute puppy plushie that has a clear ID pouch sewn into the belly as a birthday present. The shop owner was patient and nice, as I sorted through and inspected literally all of her puppy plushies for the perfect one. Very soft and cuddly! Definitely check out this shop and the other ones in that corner. Considering this is my first time shopping here, I wouldn't say it is my go-to mall. The products are cute but not the prices hahaha. Then again, they were probably imported from asian countries so I suppose they're "reasonable". Lastly, there isn't too much variety and not that many customers around. Just from visiting the basement and first floor shops, I personally felt it was kind of empty and lonely. I hope they would bring in more shop owners and other cool products that'll attract swarms of people so that it becomes a lively mall~

A complex of gift shops that appeals to the young at good prices mainly plush toys, key chains, cell phone bling cases, and all things Hello Kitty galore. Here lies children gifts at inexpensive prices, of cramped shops with little aisle walking space, where one can attain a Hello Kitty diary or plush toy for the last minute child's birthday gift. Elizabeth Center Gift Shops sits adjacent to the 5th Precinct on Elizabeth Street of Chinatown. Elevators operate at turtle speeds to get to the upper floors consisting mostly medical offices. I've been coming here for many years to be immersed in the world of pre-teen accessories, ornaments, Hello Kitty, plush toys and all things cute. Ahh, it feels grand to be young again!!

Hidden gem if you're into plushies, hello kitty, Sanrio, Bandai Capsule Station. A little hard to find-- head downstairs via the escalator and you will find a handful of interesting shops.

Purchased from the store with phone accessories/Funko Pop toys. Phone bell charms are only $1

It's perfect whether you're buying just a few items or stocking up in bulk. I was shocked at the deals here. Something that would easily cost $160+ elsewhere came out to only $80. You really can't beat that, especially in NYC. The shop is busy but well organized, and the staff is quick, helpful, and honest about prices. Whether you're grabbing last-minute souvenirs or shopping for a whole group, this place delivers on both variety and value. This is a really excellent souvenir shop in Chinatown with a great selection and wonderful products, but several of the others across the street and down the road are cheaper, and the service here is actually pretty awful. The hard selling soon turned into negativity when I didn't find what I wanted (even though I purchased here several times before, I wouldn't have expected them to remember), so I ended up not wanting to do anything here again. But for products and prices alone I'll give them three.
