Why do I love Artrage? I love Artrage because: it's a great space with a good vibe, they exhibit exciting and challenging art, they exhibit art for social change, they exhibit art that no one else dares too, they have open houses, classes, artist meet and greets, movies and more, they have opportunities for me to volunteer which allows me to feel like a member of the Artrage Community. A unique arts organization that exclusively exhibits art on social justice and environmental issues. We also host community engagement events on nights and weekends.

History

Established in 2008.

With a generous donation from our funding donor, Ruth Putter, renovations to the building at 505 Hawley Avenue began in 2007. In gratitude of Ruth Putter's gift, the gallery was named in honor of her late husband, Norton Putter. The gallery opened with its first exhibition, Combat Paper in October 2008.

Always one of the best selections of material in this field, both quality and condition. Helpful answering questions not related to sales too! Not inexpensive, but always great items worth seeing and considering if "Arts & Crafts" is you area of interest.

The owner personally quotes pricing and it's all reasonable.

This is a single screen movie theater with recliner seats (similar to movie tavern) They play 1 current movie for a couple of weeks multiple times per day. The parking lot is free and located behind the building.
