I never write reviews but I couldn't let this place go unnoticed...especially for people like me that have no idea about framing and where to go. I can't speak highly enough about this place! From the minute I walked in the door they were super helpful and nice! I had a sketch that I needed framed and brought it to Michale's for a quote and they quoted me $400!!! That was with 55% off!! So Art Sense did it for way less and I mean way less. Price was not even comparable! Cheryl helped me with the matting and framing and she was well experienced and knew what I wanted and needed! She was so easy to talk and work with. I felt like home at this place! I could of stayed all day talking with them! I got the sketch back and I was more then pleased. It look phenomenal! The matting and frame did the piece justice! I couldn't be happier! The price,work, and customer service is absolutely amazing! They gave me a delivery date and it was done a day before promised! They offer prints on canvas for great pricing and I seen some samples and it was amazing quality! If you need a place for framing look no further! I've always gone to Micheal's as I am not familiar with framing stores but Micheal's is not even comparable to the service and knowledge you get here. I will be using these guys for any framing or picture project I need done in the future! read more

I am a local photographer in Calgary. I was recently tasked with what I thought was an impossible expectation to get a photograph printed in a large format in less than 24 hours. I called a number of other professional printers in the city all of which were less than helpful and could not meet my client's deadline. I called Art Sense as I have had gorgeous printing completed by them before and I have always been happy with their services, and this time was no exception! They answered the phone promptly, told me they could in fact get the print completed by the next business day, but when I went in with my file on a USB, they offered to print it for me right then and I walked away with the image that day with no compromise on quality! The print is gorgeous and my client is over the moon happy with my ability to get them their photo as quickly as they needed it. It's so nice to see a store as unique as this! The staff are able to answer your questions properly and give suggestions that make sense for your own needs. They also don't follow you around or ignore you like I find at most other stores. I had some work custom framed at Art Sense, I went in not knowing what to expect as I had never done it before. I left feeling like I was going to have them best damn looking Beatles's poster EVER. Not many store can give you a tailored experience but because this store is family run, I feel like they genuinely want to make you happy. This is so refreshing to find when all you see is big box stores and all you get is the cookie cutter experience. They'll be getting ALL my art business. read more

These people really know what there doing!!! Not only was I blown away by how fast they work but their quality is exceptional. I came in to get some wedding photos printed as gifts for family and I was greeted by a wonderful individual named Sam who was very knowledgeable and get me exactly what I envisioned. As a realtor I will definitely be using Art Sense for all staging projects but as a personal client I will be referring all my friends and family to this great Establishment. Fantastic customer service, as well as a great selection. I frequently visited Where Its Art in the past, and was excited to see their new location. The atmosphere was very laid back, and I was very well taken care of during my first return visit. I have recommended Art Sense to friends and family. Many of us have in turn recommended Art Sense again. When I discovered that Art Sense had a website and ecommerce, I spent an hour or so exploring and ended up finding a fantastic image! Finally I made It here. I've probably driven past this place 50 times before making it in. I usually see it on the way to the farmers market. A friend of mine told me they had good prices, which I was pleasantly surprised they do. Their canvas quality is really really good, and Sherona , an employee there, was eager to explain all the ins and outs of what they do. Location may be a little less convenient as a mall. But the size and space makes the experience pretty awesome. read more

The staff was knowledgeable and helped me pick the perfect options. I had them do a custom canvas for my parents anniversary gift. I had created the image I wanted in photoshop myself and simply emailed it over to them. Super easy to deal with (especially Kendra), great rates, and am awesome product came out, all within 1 week. I would use them again, and recommend them fully to create custom canvas. read more

I have never been to an affordable art gallery with this much variety. Although certain pieces could probably be framed better you get more than you pay for. I did a custom canvas print off of their site and the color is amazing. read more
